D D SSI Insanity... yellow,pink and fushia, oh my!

Approximately 32 people were waiting to be seen when we walked into the social security office and took a number.  Was there about an hour...not bad, considering one guy was in the bathroom when they called his number repeatedly and another was being waited on and  had to run to his car. As he was rushing out he was saying to those of us waiting, " forgot something in my car ", with a smile on his face.
No one waiting to be seen was dressed like they were going to work.  Casual and less than casual was the dress of the day, including moi. 
Even ran into a grandsons wife.   Someone stole her wallet and she was there to apply for new social security cards for her and her kids.  Looks like someone else had a bad day besides moi.
Many people  there were speaking Spanish.... what's with that? 
Dumb question....they are the people that the operator asks you if you want to speak to someone in Spanish...press 1.    Moi won't go there...today anyway.
The person I spoke to wouldn't give me a statement saying " that as of today's date his case was closed." One will be sent in the mail.  Randy needs that to apply for welfare in NH.... He needs to show he is no longer on SSI in MA. He will get a few hundred less, but at least he will have his medical. AMEN!
Maybe they aren't use to someone saying cut my check down so I can get medical or stop my check so that I can get medical.  Still can't believe they didn't want to take " stop my check " as a valid reason. Had to fib and say he was leaving for Florida...will open a claim there when he gets an address.   Must check and see if my nose grew like Pinnochio's did, for lying...LOL
It's insane to expect someone on SSI to have thousands of dollars at their disposal to pay for prescriptions and wait to be reimbursed all the monies you put out for drugs,  except $285 for each prescription.  If you take four medications a month...that's $1,140...your cost and much,much more out of pocket expense that you have to pay up front for each medicine, besides..... . INSANITY!
What do you live on?  SSI doesn't give him the $1,140 alone... not to mention money needed for rent, food, utilities.
It's just as insane to determine that rent isn't a bill. 
Don't get me started on the illegals getting their handouts without ever paying into the system or taxes.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
   OMG!   Got an email from Jackiesue early Friday and opened it.   Now I see an email from her saying if I get that email, DON'T OPEN IT....will steal my email addresses.   I shit you not!
Sooooooooooooo to the two of you  out there that read my post that exchange emails with me, I apologize.

  Okay so I've vented my morning.
 Then afternoon came around like it normally does for each of us. ha ha

Took hubby to the chiropractor , back home again. He had me lug his heavy wheelchair out to the yard so he could drain the pool filter. Which meant that moi had to run like hell to get to the shed before he did to take everything out of his way.so he could get in to the pump.
Mission accomplished ..... told him prior to him deciding to drain the pump that I was going to the nursery for vegetables and .... well moi said tomatoes and cukes, but some of those plants screamed " take me home with you", so what could I do.  LOL  : 0 )   Stopped at Kentucky fried Chicken and got the two of us supper.
 Mary stopped in for a short while just as we finished eating. Was just doing what she usually does...driving around....nowhere in particular.  Sad...sigh!
   Logan was picked up after school by his older brother so that he could babysit his step brother at his dad's house. . His normal Friday schedule. " Julie needs me to babysit Erzi "  Again..an 11 year old watching a 7 year old. Not good.    Logan gets into a tv program and he can't hear his name being called. He's a kid!
My lovely ex son in law ( choke,choke,choke ) is in Mexico now.  Going to school there for extra credit. Didn't even bother to come back to MA and see his kids and wife or work a few months after the MS College of Law classes ended last week and resumes again in August. Mommy, daddy or his wife must be paying for that too.
Child support would be nice......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Tomorrow I will post this and get my fanny out in the yard before someone or something can rain on my parade.

Lots accomplished this morning. Need to rest, eat lunch and get energized to get back out there.

Oh, got the garden planted too. Forgot to take a pic.   Tomorrow .

As usual I have bought too many tomato plants.  Going to put some in pots....oh yes I am !

Still have so many pretty small things to plant and need to find a permanent spot for the yellow lupine.

They come in pink and white too.  hmmmmmmmmmmmm
