D D awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww !!!

Colt on mom's lap

We were good to ourselves yesterday.
Went to the chiropractor and we both got adjustments.
My neck is a pain in my ass.:0)  Has been for many years and was the cause my migraines.
I'm pretty sure from the trigger points ( muscle spasming) I felt on the right side it was the cause of my weird spell on Thursday.
My old boss seems to think so too.
As of late, my chihuahua....2 ton Tonette, 12 lb. Ginger has been beating me to my pillow when I turn in for the night. I get a small part... if I am lucky. sigh!
I love my dog, I do..I do, but I am not sharing that pillow any more. Will give her one of her own. :0)
After the chiropratic visit we went to the Outback and treated ourselves to a good meal.
It surprised me that hubby was willing to go out to eat and afterwards he sat in the car while I ran in a grocery store for $70 some odd dollars of items on a list. Did not do the entire list, but got his juice, cookies, raisins for the morning amongst other foods.
Logan went to his dads. Had to....no negotiating.  Dad would be pissed at him if he didn't go and he don't like to get dad pissed.  When dad is home from MS he wants him there even if it isn't a court decreed day.
Jill never went by that. If her sons wanted to go to dads they were more than welcome to go any day of the week.
He on the other hand has always kept them with him whether it was Jill's day to have them or not.
It's always been a one way street with him. I shit you not!
Okay, it's not my concern.

It will be a quiet few days here.  That's always welcome.

The love birds were in for the night around 8:30.  Had been off here and there since noon yesterday.
Went to Weymouth to get wiring for his new/used GPS for his boat.  The wiring he needed runs in the $200 range. Just what everyone needs to spend money on. NOT!  I say not because he has one. This one may be a better one, BUT!!!
He is doing nothing to help himself. Has given the bankruptsy attorney $800 towards his fee.
Has not filled in any of the forms the attorney handed him. Says all his paperwork with amounts he owes is on his table, BUT he needs her to hand him each piece of paper.  She refuses to do that.
All he keeps asking her is when they can get married.
He needs a mommy, NOT a wife.
Attorney can't get a court date without first filing those papers.  So be it!
Just got $500 from his tenant towards his $800 rent and is running through it.
Okay...not my worry.

Jill works Saturday and Sunday. good,good,good.
Will keep her out of the bars for at least 8 hours both days.
Needs my car today to pick up her oldest son and his wife at Logan Airport tonight after 10 p.m.
They just spent a week in Florida.

Had some rain from Hurricane Earl.  Nothing torrential.   No wind. :0)
Going down in the 50's tonight. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

Isn't that something about those tainted eggs ???? The government ignored the Whistle Blowers calls.
Go figure!  We should trust our government ??  Not I !
Lots of bad stories in the news, local and worldwide.... but I'm not going to focus my attention on any of it.
Not much that makes the news can be good news. I shit you not!

Hairdresser is coming at 10 a.m. Need to shower and dress.
You know how I love to talk , but today I am going  to smell more roses and veg out.   :0)
I'm more than ready to lie down ... let my mind go blank and enjoy the fresh air coming in.

D D I'm Alive......

Yesterday I truly thought I was going to buy the farm.....figuratively speaking. :0(
I was experiencing feelings I have never experienced before.
Have had a few occurrences of my equilibrium  being off when I would rise up too fast from a prone position.
This was different.  I would be sitting or laying perfectly still and focus on something, like the tv, a window and it would start to move in a circular motion from up at the top to the left.....over and over.
Quickly I had to shut my eyes as it felt like I was being drawn into that vortex it created.
That Light's Out feeling.
To explain it better.... that vision that is being shown of Hurrican Earl swirling around is what it appeared like.
Throughly confused ?
I would lay down only to feel worse. Sort of nauseas ..would jump up and begin walking and take quick breaths trying to escape the horrid feeling.
I felt like I was trying to outrun death. No joke!
Hubby would be telling me to lie down if I felt dizzy....and I would tell him that feeling had passed.
Carried a bucket and cold damp cloth around with me. A few times I belched.
.Belching is something that I have never been able to do. I shit you not!
Would be able to sleep a little while....think I was okay and it would return.
Declined a 911 call. I had the flu in 1957 when my fourth born was a few weeks old.
That was brutal as I remember it.  Except for some migraines through the years...I have not been sick.
Knock on wood ( which I am.) My bureau is solid oak.
Have had a broken leg, a badly sprained ankle and urinary track infections.
Another knock on wood.    It's been a long time.
Except for 7 deliveries , the only surgery I have had was to remove a cone shaped piece from around my cervix when the pathologist found cancerous cells after a pap smear in 1967.
I truly have been blessed.
One of my favorite songs is " If tomorrow never comes", sung by Garth Brooks.
It was on my playlist, but in shortening my list of 37 songs,  I have discovered it is not amongst the 14 listed here.
Another day, I will redo my list. ;0)

Tracie called me around two to see if we were still on for yesterday. Told her how I was feeling and she was perfectly fine with going another day.
I told her the day was young and maybe later I would feel fine.
Around 7 p.m. ish I shook that feeling and showered  and we went to the Outback 8 p.m. something.
Slipped the waiter I knew a note saying it was her birthday and a huge scoop of ice cream with chocolate, whipped cream, a cherry and a candle with 2 spoons came after our meal. Tracie had asked me not to tell them it was her b day. This worked out fine. The place was jumping and Jimmy just said Happy Birthday and gave her a hug.
No waitstaff singing and clapping. It was perfect.  Had my camera with me. Forgot to use it. sigh!
It was ever soooooooo long that I was without a camera....I keep forgetting I have one now.
We stopped at a convenience store in our area before we went. Tracie needed to play her numbers.
I sat in the car in the A/C. ;0)
The clerk stepped out for a quick cigarette after Tracie got in the car.
She glanced at the car and saw all the stuff piled in the back seat and said, " someone has been doing alot of shopping today.'
Tracie...no, I have been cleaning my parents house out.   Clerk...I'm sorry.
That crap has been there for ages and will remain there. I had to reach through the front door and hold a box that was threatening to fall out the back door when she went to add something else back there.
Once again she had to clean a pile of stuff off the passeneger seat and still my ass came down on that damned flashlight.
Jill picked Logan up from school at 1... He was feeling sick. Slept from the time he came home til 8 p.m.
No surprise that when I got up to pee around 4:30 a.m. he was still awake. I shit you not!
No school today. :0) for him. He's sleeping now.
The ex SIL from Hell is home for the Labor Day weekend too. He called Logan to let him know he was home and asked him to come. Heard Logan say in a tone like ( please just let me be sick and leave me alone voice) I'm sick...tomorrow I'll come. okayyyyy.  Back to sleep he went.
Jill is mowing the yards. I picked up the dog poo and rolled hoses up. Will see what needs to be put away and stack lawn chairs and lie them on the ground in awhile.
Looks like Earl will come my way, but not as bad as first thought.  No more eye in the storm.
I keep making short trips out in the back yard to put smaller items away.
If I see the wind is getting strong, I or Jill will put the patio tables upside down.
My regular doctor appontment is Tuesday the 7th. Just got my reminder call.
I suspect she will have no idea why I felt like I did and want me to have a battery of tests.
I'm not keen on that shit.
At age 70 began with Chantix and a nerve pill....   halleluja it worked!
The following year it was a cholestrol pill and last year a high blood pressure pill.
Know if I get my weight down I can get my blood pressure under control.  If...a big IF!
So what next???
Going to cut this short ( well shorter than usual :0) )
Will try to work on that sweater for Ryu and see that to the finished stage.
One day at a time. All we have for certain ...is right now.  I shit you not!

D D Do you know what this is?

It's spring loaded.

 One size fits all.

Start preparing to get buff for next summer

Coming to a store near you.

Ain't dis some shit!

Feeling out of sorts today..... something is not quite right.  sigh!

Hope I feel up to taking Tracie out to the Outback tonight.
Yesterday I asked her again if she would like to go out to eat. She replied that she didn't get her social security check until the 5th.
No, no...I am treating you I told her.  Got a YES!
She turned 49 today.
My Sonny turns 50 the 10th and Jill turns 49 the same day.  My oldest will be 57 October 13th.
Dammit! I'm getting old ! Hell no....I AM OLD!  I shit you not!

D D Gonna be another hot one

I'm seeing 99 as the high today.
The A/C has been running since yesterday morning.  sigh!

Happy to report that Logan had a wonderful first day in the 6th grade.
He came home full of chatter and excitement. Best home room teacher, best math teacher.... his locker lock to practice his combination on with more numbers to remember.
The fear of the unknown is in the past...........for this time. :0)
Handed his mother lots of paperwork to fill out. The school wanted a current picture of him for their records, so she took one that she took yesterday morning and developed it at CVS to put in with the rest of the school papers that required filling out by her.
This morning he went off to school on the right foot. :0)

Today is Alexs' first day of school. Jill and Butch will go to NH to see her head into her new school for her first day in 1st grade.  Then they plan on heading towards Gloucester to a beach.
Jill don't care for swimming in the ocean so why there ...I have no idea.  Not asking.
Being ever so much her mother....I warned her about under tows and if she didn't already know ....told her how to get out of them.
She went off alone for a few hours last night. Came home a little after 9 p.m. feeling good....not in the jovial sense either. :0(   Well that too!
Butch was working. She told me this morning he is still shaken up over a call he went on last night. A twenty year old girl tried to commit suicide. Her dad found her hanging from a ceiling fan.
She was still alive.  Was being bagged and taken away in an ambulance the last he saw her.
Butch is an EMT as well as a fireman and goes on alot of medical calls.

Tracie came over to shoot the shit just as I was cooking supper.
Thirty minutes later when I was ready to put it on the table I offered her a plate to take home.
Knew hubby would not come out to sit at the table if she was there, so I asked her to leave.    sigh!

On the news today it was said that most of us are eating for two.  The size of a burger patty we order out as well as other meats are doulble or more than what we should eat for a serving.
Four ounces of meat is a serving portion.  Hubby and I eat the 6 oz. steak at the Outback.
Also heard on tv this morning that naps should be no longer than 20 minutes to get the most out of napping.
Jokingly I said , " we super size our naps," and we both had a good laugh over it.

Well ain't this some shit !!!  It's been so quiet in this house I have repeatedly dozed off.
Laid down to follow a court case on tv and zonked out.
Would waken to use the bathroom and feel the need to sleep some more.   sigh!
A whole mornings worth of off and on sleep up til the 1 p.m. hour.
This isn't super sizing.......it's ridiculous.  I shit you not!    Shameful is what it is.
No Logan's friends ringing the doorbell, no kids being kids playing XBOX or other games. No swimming, but it sure as Hell is hot enough if school wasn't in session.
No phone calls.  Hubby took the phone off the hook... tytyty.   :0)
If I haven't recouperated from my weekend...I never will.

Being that I have slept part of my life away today ......I will leave you with some pictures instead of WORDS. ;0) Things to do, things to do....

A rare black fawn

Learned something myself when I saw these... a black deer ????

A rooster leading his hens to .....greener pastures???

Impressing the smaller birds???

You step on that crack and you will break your mother's back!

To the moon Alice...to the moon.

Hubby just asked me to look at his legs.
One looks so much smaller at the top than the other.
Got out my tape measure. Right leg is 19 1/2 inches around. Left leg is 17 1/2 inches around.
All the muscles in that left leg have wasted away due to his condition.
No wonder the doctors are amazed he can still walk.
Then I foolishly measured the top of my leg ....23 inches............ I'm not shitting!  Holy Shit!

This is a much prettier picture than that mental image of my leg I was going to leave you with.

Logan came through the door starved.
This 11 year old is always starved.
Have concluded that there are benefits with having a child in the house.
He keeps us more active. That's a given.  :0)
Mom is still at the beach orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr where ever, but is not answering her cell phone.
His friend Ryan just came. It was his grandmother that died Saturday and was buried yesterday.
Seventy six kids are riding their Middle School bus.  Four to a seat if they weigh less that 70lbs.
Holy Hannah!  Packed in like sardines.  The two of them are worrying that more kids will move into our neighborhood. Can't blame em....I suggested they get tied to the roof. :0)
Ohhhh to have those little worries....but we did once .....and did we enjoy them?
Okay...it's wakey, wakey time..... two tv's going and kids chattering.
I'll be back here in just a few hours.  In 8 1/4 hours it will be September 2nd.  I shit you not!
That's All Folks!

D D This is what UGLY looks like

Now you see it

Now you don't
Should have had that counter protector there before the fire.  I shit you not!
The hot molten glass began to cool almost as soon as I smothered the flames on my kitchen counter and when I tried to get it up I took the laminate off of the particle board. :0(
Suppose I could scrape it some more and expose more particle board. sigh!
Moral of this story:  Never leave a tea light or candle on anything that can burn.
Who knew that a votive holder could get so hot that it burst into molten glass.
All that was left was the bottom of it with the $1.99 sticker like brand spankin new and the metal tin that held the tea light.  I didn't!  I shit you not!

The birthday boy....Ryu

Look at those cheeks puffed up to blow out the candles.

Playtime for the ferrets Monday

Bitsy...She weighs a little over 1 lb.

Diesel weighs a little over 2 lbs.

so does Cena

All 3 seeing what they can run off with or knock on the floor

Bitsy is a wench. She tries and tries to move the gate enough to get out. Not the other two.
Until I tightened the bungee cord  more......she could. She keeps testing it.  Brat!
All of them love  bags and boxes. Diesel is trying one out. That is their peanut filled toy box. They love to tunnel under the peanut fill and also pull their toys out and hide them under the furniture and behind the tv.

Jill and Butch were around most of the day. He had his daughter and took her school shopping. She starts the 1st grade Wednesday. Listened to Jill telling me about some of the high jinx Alex and her mother have pulled.  Baby mama called baby daddy a few days ago. You need to come to Canobie Lake Park and take her to a doctor. She has a bad infection on her foot.
psssssssssssssssst! it was a teeny wart. Now he wants to know from the baby mama what kind of virus' does this new boyfriend's house have.
A freakin wart caused her to repeatedly call him about this grave concern when she had her walking around an amuzement park all day long.
Alex whined all day yesterday that Olivia ( her maybe step sister ) turned 8 the other day and got a Blackberry phone and Ipod.  She wants one.
If I know Butch...she will have one before she turns 7 in November.
They went out to eat last night. Only the place Alex wanted to go to was good enough. Friendlys..I hate Friendly's. Kentucky Fried...I hate Kentucky Fried.  Mings for Chinese...I hate Chinese food.
Only the Glenview would do. So Jill went along with that even though she doesn't care for the food there.
Knew she liked the onion soup there and that's what she ordered. That was her meal.
Alex wanted a haddock dinner. There is no children's plate for haddock.
Butch repeatedly said she would eat it all to Jill or almost all. Watch and see. They go through this all the time and she takes a few bites after eating the bread and drinking a few root beers.
Filled up on soda and bread..just like Logan does.
Did it again.
He was going to order himself a Fisherman's Platter and give her the haddock off his plate... ohhh noooo. She always wants her own order of haddock.
One day she hates Olivia and the next she likes her a little.
It must be fun in that household.
Don't know if Jill is still riding in the back seat when the three of them are in his pickup truck.
This caused complete melt downs in the past. Butch was at the bargaining table ....I'll buy you this...I'll get you that....if you ride in the back seat. Don't cry baby.
Last night is was ...my eyes are itchy. Over and over.  He played into it. "Your eyes do look a little puffy."
Alex is a beautiful little girl. Her parents are efffin her up!

Logan started school today. He ran into his mother's room around 9 p.m. telling her how scared he was.
Had a little bit of the sniffles. :0(  Gone will be the familiar school and 1 classroom.
Worried how he will find all the rooms he will need to be in.
Lockers, homeroom and other classrooms for Math, English, etc.
Pin numbers to remember to get your lunch. No more cash or free lunch tokens to use to buy a school lunch.
Only a few known faces in your homeroom and lots of unknowns all around.
First time to ride a school bus too. Begged us not to take a picture of him getting on the bus.
Hope our reassuring words and hugs helped him fall to sleep last night. sigh!
He should feel confidant today that he won't be offending. Has his Axe body spray and deoderant on. :0)

The weatherman said it will be more humid today than yesterday and go as high as 97 degrees.
Pheweeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Thursday is Tracie's birthday. 9-2-61. Her brother Marty's is the same day, but he is 8 years older than her.
Saw her outside yesterday evening when I was getting in my car to run for some lactaid ice cream for hubby.
Asked her if she wanted to go out to dinner for her birthday.
She never gave me a yes or no.....my guess is it's a yes.
My Jill and Sonny also share the same birthday. 9-10-60 and 9-10-61.
Stepped away to look at my September birthday cards................shit........granddaughter Corinne's is the same day as Tracie's.
My...my...my...my...my. Corinne will be 20.  Unbelievable !
Must get a card in the mail to Florida today.
I buy cards all year long and have cards way ahead of time and still I forget some dates.
Plus a dear internet friend gave me an assorted box of greeting cards :0)  as a gift, so I have no excuse.
CRS only works so often. I shit you not!

Nephew Drew called Jill yesterday asking if we are having a cookout over Labor Day weekend.
She told him she is working...which she is.
He and his partner, husband... are another of my worries. Their house was forclosed on a year ago February.
This February will be 2 years. They have no money, Patrick's part time job ends this week...census taker.
They have a 10 year old black lab Samantha...............what will happen when that repo moving truck shows up one day to put them out on the street.
Hubby has never liked Drew...even as a child.  He isn't easy to like.....oin the other hand Patrick and Samantha are. sigh!
Both of them have AIDS.

Logan's friend Ryan won't be starting school today.
His grandmother passed away from Cancer Saturday. 67 years old.
Viewing this morning and the burial is at noon.
Hubby grew up with her husband. and his siblings.
Ryan has lived either with his grandparents or just around the corner from them all his 11 years. Sad.

I've held out long enough on closing the house up and turning the A/C on.
DIL in FL says it will be another month before she can open her house up. She also hates this closed in feeling. When you have hot weather..you can't win for loosing. :0)
When they left here and we all hugged....I asked her how they dance cheek to cheek.
They don't she said.
Sonny is 6' 5 ".  I don't come up to anywhere near his face either. I shit you not!
That's All Folks!

D D Letting out a big sigh of relief

Things never seem to be dull around here and some weeks hold more calamity than others.
My son and DIL arrived from FL sometime Thursday and rented a hotel room in town so that their grandson and his brothers could have use of the swimming pool there.
They had come to finish the matters in her father's estate. Put the house up for sale Friday and an offer was made 10 K less than what they asked within hours. Saturday morning the builder offered them what they had asked. SOLD!  House is a knock down house. It's the acre of land that builders like.
Meanwhile they have gone to RI to meet their new grand daughter Aliya and also see Ava. She will be 2 in January 19th..her daddy's birthday.
Tomorrow they take her dad's car to some place in CT that purchases cars and his car will sell for 10K and they will get 8K.  Then go to the airport and fly back home.
And.......I think I'm busy ?????
Deb and Sonny took hubby and I to lunch Friday. Chinese at Mings.  They don't get that good shit in FL.
Later Deb and I went to her son's house to visit Jaiden, Jen and Jimmy. David was working and he had Jordan with him.
What fun it was to watch the little guy play....all his antics that I don't get to sit and enjoy the times they are here. His brothers are always misbehaving and getting the attention on themselves when they come here.
They have broke so many of his toys. Saw her kitchen chair backs in splinters. One of them took a fit and had thrown them down on the floor.
Both boys have issues and an older son is in a home for disturbed children.
David has been a good father role model for Jen's older three sons. They have had no dad involved in their lives before.
I had one child that was a handful since he was two that had issues. BUT Randy never destroyed anything in our home. Amen!
One of Jen's neighbor friends bought Jaiden a scooter to replace the one he had.
Jaiden will be 2 in October and you should see him ride that scooter.  :0)  Goes right along ...one foot on the scooter and the other on the floor.
Oh to be a kid!
I get him up on my lap and went blank trying to remember a ditty I played with my kids and the grands.
So I hum and Jen said it was Ride A Horse to Boston....so Deb and Jen sang and I bounced him on my knees and spread them apart when it came to the ....and don't fall down. Felt good being around a little one.
Once home I remembered my ditty.  Gittyup horsey ride to town....buy a stick of candy and don't fall .....down.  Just different words as the one they knew.
Left there around 9 and Deb says, "I'm hungry."
Suggested Bertucci's and she was all for it as it had been awhile.  More chatting over eating. :0)
Deb and I have always got along famously and as always invited us down this winter. The door is always open to us.
For those of you that don't know me or have not followed my blog from it's beginning in March....Deb was my daughter in law twice. She married my son Terry and had 2 sons with him. Derek and David.
Divorced and married another son and have 2 children with him.
LJ in college and Corinne whom is also in college.   Don't ask me their ages as my date book is out of my reach. ;0)
Once back home Sonny was finished with what he needed to do and was here waiting for her.
and..................surprise....surprise.   SO WAS JILL !
She avoids her blood brother like the plaque as well as his wife Deb.
They have made no bones about what she needed to do with her life after her divorce and her Pity Party.
Plus Jill has had words with Deb when she threw her 2 oldest out after they graduated highschool and Jill took them in.
Jill was feeling no pain.....Butch was passed out in bed.... sigh!
She embraced and soundly hugged  them both ...one at a time as they were leaving at 11 p.m.
I could not believe my eyes. .  :0)   Yup!   Friday was a good day.
My Saturday was told about yesterday morning. Hours cleaning a bathroom and the shopping trip from  Pergotory.
That reminds moi.  I have purchased every brand of tub cleaner over the years to remove soap scum and was never happy with any of those cleaners.  Cleaning the tub became like having surgery to moi.
 I shit you not!
Even went as far to get online and asking what people used . Tried alot of the recommended  techniques.
Came up  down and defeated. :0(
Recently saw a new product and picked it up. Shoved it under the bathroom sink with at least 8 others for the next time I wanted to punish myself.
I want to shout from the rooftop. I shit you not!
Mr.Clean disinfecting Bath Cleaner with Frebreeze.  Did use a scub pad, but very little elbow grease had to be put behind it.  :0)   Smells better than all those others too.
Less stuff under my sink now. :0)
Cleaned out one side cabinet ( they go floor to ceiling ) and found I had 4 boxes of hair dye...not one left as I thought.  Made mental note to not order any more for awhile.
Four packages of Crest toothpaste.  OMG!   Do I see a little bit of hoarding here???? :0)
Everything is in order now....on that side.  Built in hamper and shelves that hold towels are in the other side cabinet. Need to go through the towels and the medicine cabinet still... I'm in no rush.  ;0)
When I eventually get around to cleaning out the refridgerator I'm one that places things on the shelves and in the order I think they belong.  Needless to say...no one else thinks the same as I do. :0(
Yep....housework is like shoveling shit against the tide.  I shit you not!

Then comes Sunday............if you live long enough. :0)
All my good intentions were running late.  Too hot and humid to dig a tree up. It can wait!
Picked cukes and tomatoes for son Larry and DIL Sombay.  Began watering and every so often I ran out to move the sprinkler. Phew!  Cleaned the ferrets cage from top to bottom except for washing their bedding.
If you haven't read where I have talked about these darling cute ferrets ( all 3 ) take note.
While they are cute and will amuse you with their antics......their shit does stink. Though they were descented , they still retain some musky odor of which I mind not.
It's the amount of shitting they do in 24 hours that has you holding a pooper scooper at least 3 times during the day. They need 2 or 3 water refills a day and 1 refill on their ferret food pellets.
In the grand scheme of things.....they also desire to and should be let out to play and run a few times a day.
I manage one 30 minute playtime a day and shamefully some days they don't get that.
If you ever think you would like to own a ferret ..or your kids want one....Don't do it!
None of these 3 were mine....they became mine when everyone else decided they were too much work and took time out of their fun time. sigh!  I'm known as a sap for animals.
Like cats and dogs...they are a responsibility.....  Mine now! If they live 10 years, I have 8 to go .
Oh stop it will you............  Yeah, I feel guilty even thinking that way.  sigh!
Ain't she cute?

Him??

Him ???

Any offers ?    Thought not !

Hubby showered. Then moi. It wasn't until 1:45 p.m.  that we pulled out of the driveway.
I was silly.. Thought hubby might go to this party with me as we were going to the same town to eat.
Great meal at the Outback and hubby wants to go home.
Home it was and that was at 3: 15. Get him inside and let Lady out to pee. Grab a can of Tab and I'm off.................after I get gas that is. My tank thingie that lets you know how much gas is in your tank has been broke forever. I just reset the odometer when I fill up.
207 miles on that last tank of gas....don't really know how low I am.
Fill up was $30. Whoa! What would the price be if the tank was empty.
I'm off heading back the way I had just came and was wishing I was laying in bed beside hubby in the A/C and quietness.  If I said different..I'd be lying.
Got to the party at 4.  Sombay was getting worried that I wasn't coming or something had happened to keep me from coming.  Nice to be missed. :0)
There were a shitload of people there. I parked 4 doors down at the end of the street.
Legs and feet were still good at that time of day. :0)
My son Larry held and played with their 9 month old grand daughter Krista the entire time. Had her down on a blanket one time making baby talk and noises at her.
He's another one of my kids that floors me.  Mr.MaGruff himself.
He looked like he was the father....no... make that a grandfather.
He is soooo into Ryu and Krista.  They are Sombay's son Noel's children.
One would never know that he isn't the blood grandfather. I shit you not!
It was so nice to see his soft side....oh yes it was.
I handed them the cukes and tomatoes I brought and they handed me fresh fish he had caught yesterday when I left. Home around 6....Make skunks pans of food and hit the sack. Phone rang at 7 wakening me.
Dozed off again and woke at 8. Hubby slept til almost 10 and wanted to go to sleep for the night at 11.
That's the time Jill and Butchie came in. After work they went to eat......and drink.
They must have eaten at an earlier hour because he heated his leftover ? diablo as soon as they came in and ate it. Then all was quiet.
11:30 p.m. I turned in.

After awakening this morning and sitting at this compter drinking my morning coffee I began to feel.........
.v e r y  s l e e p y .
I'm not the Spring Chicken that I think I am.  :0(  I shit you not!
Climbed back in bed around 9 and slept til around 11 a.m.
So much for drinking the coffee.
I need a new body. sigh!

Now to try to make up for lost time.....Wishful thinking.......
That's All Folks!

D D My get up and goooooooooooooo

Has got up and WENT!

All I have pressing to do today is:

Dig up a Japanese Red Maple Leaf tree and  put a gift in gift bag for the 3 p.m. b-day party/ cookout.
Oh ..... and feed and clean ferrets, give the dogs fesh water and make sure there is Eucanuba in the food bowl, shower, wait on hubby, do some laundry and folding, wash the skunk food pans out, and, and, and!
I'm exhausted already....just as I was when I closed my eyes after midnight.
Tracie called late yesterday asking me what I was up to, Usually I tell her, nothing.
Told her I needed to shop for a gift and some grocery store items.
She asked me if I would ride with her as she needed to go to the two stores I was going to.
Fine by me, I told her.
She told me to come over when I was ready.
I did................and she was not ready. Had to wait for the washing machine cycle to end and refill so she could add rinse.   la la la ..............told me I could sit in the car and wait if I wanted.
Then she calls me in for my opinion on how to get glue off her a sweatshirt of hers.
Goo Be Gone is all I could think of.
Finally we are off to the stores in the center of town. Ahha, but first she needs to go to Walgreen's in case it closes before we get out of the other stores. She would sit in the car once we were parked and conversate.
I'm not talking a few minutes either.  sigh!
If she wasn't through telling me a story before we parked.........she finished it in the parkinglot instead of as in...once the car was underway again.
I looked at a People's magazine in the car...from front to back...reading a few stories....at Walgreens, while waiting for her to do her shopping in there and get her med's.  I shit you not!
Next...... a left turn to go back a few hundred feet to Burlington Coat Factory. Must admit that I myself can get lost in there.  AND I DID !!!   We both shopped. Tracy put alot of things on lawaway for her 1 year old neice .......dresses, 2 winter coats.......all adorable.
Finding something for a 3 year old boy is much more difficult............or was.
Tons of little girl things......not so with little boys.  Hasn't it always been that way???
Was when my boys were young.
We emerge from there after darkness fell and immediately I remembered it was skunk feeding time and felt guilty that they were coming out to find  NOTHING to eat.  :0(  sigh!
Also remembered that hubby might be more than a little hungry too.  sigh!
Tracie offered to put our purchases in her car and I trotted walked slowly to the next attached store which is a Dollar Store for tissue paper and a gift bag.
She had told me to continue on to the grocery store to get my items needed and I walked even slower and more bent over a few more shops over.
Have you ever noticed when your items entitle you to get in the 12 items or less line.............there is a long line. That happened!  I shit you not!
Now I emerge into the dark parkinglot trying to see if she has moved the car nearer to the grocery store.
I'm scanning the area. Can see the stores we were just in and was expecting to hear a BEEP.
Nadda! No such luck, so I stand there wishing I had a shopping cart to lean on and slowly make my way back to where we first parked. Car was there. Couldn't miss it. The rear was packed to the roof. How she managed to get our stuff in there with all the other stuff she carts around in there because she can't bring it into her apartment, I have no clue.  but she did...................no Tracie. :0(
Now my concience begins to work on me again. Skunks, hubby. Hubby, skunks. Need food.
Not to mention that I could use some myself.
Watched people park, shop, return and drive off.  Leaned my arse on the car hood and felt it indent..
Oopsie daisy!  FINALLY she comes into view from the grocery store area.
Would I mind if she pulled closer to the grocery store and went back in.....she asked.
What can you say.............but fine. Told her Mike must be starving. Ohhhhh we've been pretty much keeping up with each other shopping she says. He'll probably blame me now. I just need to run back in for a cold Sprite. Will be right back out.  Was stupid of me to mention that where we were headed next had cold tonic.
Cheaper in the grocery store she tells me.
Hands me 3 bags when she finally emerges . Picked up different kinds of chips and small chocolate milk drinks and Sprite and cakes and, and, and. So I stuff them around my feet being careful not to crush the chips. She had opened the back door for some reason and somehow ??? she notices her $5 small jar of Meat Tenderizer had opened and spilled in the bag with her steak purchase, etc form her previous trip in there.
Would you mind...........paid good money for these...need to go back in and return it.
Holy Cow!  Muscles are tensing up all over my body. I shit you not!
Keep in my that she either stands outside the car talking about another subject or the current...instead of moving towards the store .         GET ER DONE!!!!!
FINALLY after she takes long sips on her cold drink........we head right up the street to the sub and pizza shop. I order hubby a small Italian sub... Hold, hold, hold, hold.  Just meat and lettuce and onions.
No seeds or milk products for hubby.
She orders a steak and cheese...hands me the money to pay for it and has to hit the the drugstore a few shops away for sale items. Mac n cheese and whatever.
My sub was ready almost as soon as I ordered it...hers needed cooking.. Back out and walk to the car expecting to see Tracie in it.  No such luck. Try to doors hoping to be able to get off my barking puppies and the door is open. :0(   Our stuff wasn't touched. :0)
More waiting.................  Tracie emerges and heads towards the sub shop. Managed to hit her horn in the right area. BEEP!  She turns towards the beep.    Home Sweet Home !
The center of town is approximately 2 miles from the house.
I run in the house with my peace offering sub expecting to see an angry bear. Other than asking me what took so long as I had said I wouldn't be gone long the bear wasn't in a foul mood.
You figure men out......I can't..... I shit you not.
On the other hand the skunks were roaming looking for food.  Made them 2 pans of food and they graciously stood aside as I walked down the bulkhead to set them on the ground.  :0)
My ass was dragging but I needed to eat too.
Made myself 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with fresh slices of tomatoes on them.   YUM!
Looked at them awhile as I almost felt too tired to eat.......but after one bite I had no problem getting them down. Not exactly diet food...far from it.  sigh! Betcha can't eat just one...I can't!
Watched a tiny bit of Americas Most Wanted with hubby as it went off shortly after I sat down. 10 p.m.
Don't ask me why I was still awake at midnight..................but I was and hubby was dozing.
Jill and Butchie came in. Butch made BLT's.for himself.   He had helped her with cookouts all day. They did 3 parties. Jill also can't DO SEEDS...has diverticulitus same as hubby has.
Her ass was dragging.  SIL that owns that business is booking way more paties than he should .
The next 2 weekends will be a Test to what they can handle. Jill says he has 5 sit downs.
It's the HELP that SIL has trouble finding to work. Consequently... others are overworked.
Now here is a novel idea....
He should build 3 or more wedding halls .....in a so called... strip mall .
Book a wedding in Hall# 1 at noon...Hall#2 at 1 and so forth. Run out the back door going from hall to hall with all his cooks and waitstaff.  Sheesh ...what an imagination I have. Will run that by him. :0)
A sweetheart of an internet friend gave me the nickname of Daffy.... .though I have no an idea why. ;0)
It's almost 11 a.m. Got to get off my arse and dig out a shovel and pitchfork before I can attempt to dig out that young tree.
It began as a seedling from my main tree in the flower bed and unlike others that sprung up...I left it alone.
Now it needs to get out of there before it grows like my other and will be in my neighbors driveway.
Not good! I shit you not!
That's All Folks!
P.S.
Did I mention the constant fiddling of th drink holders in Tracie's car. No... I didn't!
Rearranging constantly. Sprite caps needed to be moved over for a sand dollar she had and found.
Size D battery had to find a new place when she needed to put her Sprite down.
I wanted to scream, but politely asked where she was putting her Sprite as she tried to set it down on top of the battery. Noticed what I was referring to and said, " you would ask...tee hee hee."
Didn't ask why she had that D battery in the cup holder. Should I have?  Efff U!!!!
Hubby wants to go to the Outback before I go to the party...Hustle, hustle
