D D Day 11 and Shop til I drop! :0)

Charlie was just at our bedroom slider peering in.
I swear he trys to get some action out of the dogs. This time they didn't see him.
Good!
Don't need the yap, yap, yapping.  I shit you not!

The Christmas tree set up in the chiropractors still had some names of needy children on ornaments made of construction paper and again I couldn't resist.
Must have the spirit of Christmas in me after all. :0)
Devynn age 3  Wooden Blocks.  Jake age 8 Skinny jeans , Kylie age 6 shirts size 11-12.
It was cold yesterday so I was surprised that hubby asked to go to the hardware store in town after we both were adjusted at the chiropractor. I'd have preferred to go shopping for these kids. :0)
Of course hubby getting around a store involved the lifting of the wheelchair out of the car trunk.
Luckily two good samaritans saw what we were trying to do and rushed to offer their help.  :0)
Hubby wanted closet shelving. The metal type with a white coating. .
Our hardware store is not a Lowes or Home Depot....nor is it a discount hardware store.
Hubby has known the family that runs it for many years and it is handy when you need something quick. .
One hundred dollars later we leave the store. ( could have done so much better at the two named above).
Oh well....it's a done deal.
This time no one rushed to help get the wheelchair in the trunk, but the two of us managed .
Him using one hand to balance himself and me using two hands and peeing my pad. :0(
Hubby agreed to go to Good Thymes to eat so home I went to change my pad.
When we had left Jill and the whine bucket were still home. Ran home to change my pad.  Gone.
Really didn't expect them to be here.
It was while we were eating that I noticed the time. Was getting close to when Logan would be home from school, so I called her.
:0) She answered her cell.   She was going home to change into her uniform as she was called to go set up a party and work it.  Wouldn't be here when we got back, she said.
Ended the call with an I love you and so did I. :0)
W.B. must have went along to watch her  help her I'm assuming as his truck was in the driveway and her car was gone when we got home.
Wasn't long before young Gil came to pick up Logan for the weekend.
Had to beat his ass back to Dracut in time to get Erzi from the school bus.
Ole dad was coming in later in the evening and they all would be driving to the airport to pick him up.
He must have meant in the wee hours of the morning because I heard him tell Logan that this time Julie would be driving as she doesn't have to work Saturday.
While he was here I took the liberty of asking him for help unloading my car.  :0)
Four shovels, TP and paper towels, shelving units .  He saved me lots of steps. yesssssssssssss
Logan piped up and said, "Nana , you got new shovels for Butchie to steal? He always takes our shovels."
hmmmmmmmmmmm Maybe that's why some of them get damaged.
He plows and shovels walk ways for extra money in the winter.
Last year Jill gave him a shovel just like what we buy for a Christmas present.
Will have to tell her the price is right. :0)
Stored all four I bought out in the backyard shed. My mother didn't raise no fools. :0)
Hubby and I can see anyone that goes into the back yard from our bedroom.

Seemed like all I did once we were home was check to see if Tracie was across the street.
When we parted the day before she said she would see me Saturday to take me to the BIG Christmas Fair.
I was itching to do some shopping for these kids I didn't even know and it was getting dark. :0(
Long story short, somewhere around seven she came to the door............wasn't expecting that.
Forget what she wanted.............knew what I wanted. :0)
This time it was Target where I heard from my chiropractor they had skinny jeans of good quality.
Am ever so glad that I asked what skinny jeans were. I was thinking SLIM.  NOT!
The legs are tapered down at the ankles.  Live and learn.
Just so happened that we no sooner parked and I spotted a skinny looking cat.
Tried to coax it to me. Called kitty, kitty, kitty as I walked all over after it.
Didn't want no part of me as it kept many paces between us while smelling the ground here there and everywhere.
Must have been looking for any food scrap it could find and none were to be had as far as I could see.:0(
Would have given it a home, but it didn't trust me.  sigh!

For the younger kids I couldn't just stop at one gift.  Jake will get his Shawn White skinny jeans and a Shawn White long sleeved shirt, Kylie will get 4 tops and little 3 year old Devynn will get a nice set of wooden shapes on a cart wooden cart with painted red wooden wheels, a Vtech Tote n Go Laptop and pajamas.
Subject to be added to if I see anything else before I bring them wrapped to the Town Hall. :0)
I'VE GOT THE SPIRIT IN ME!  I shit you not!
Added pajamas for Shayla to my daughter Cheryls bags.  Ongoing....subject to change. :0)
I give most of my younger grands money or gift cards, so I got so much enjoyment out of the shopping for these kids I don't even know.
An older kid  also named Jake wanted a wallet and I must remember to put a few dollars in it.
CHRISTMAS IS FOR KIDS!
Most likely will see American Girls  doll clothes at this Christmas Fair and buy for Alex. :0)

Just remembered an incident with hubby the 7th while we were eating young Gil's birthday cake.
A few people eating made mention of the fact that they were HOT.
Like what do we keep our heat at , was asked.
I piped up and mentioned that Papa had turned it up the other day because he was COLD.
A look of perplexion and denial followed as hubby frowned and looked like he was reaching into the depths of his memory and could not remember that he touched the thermostat.
I repeated his comment of " I pay the effin bills' when he turned it up and even that didn't jog his memory.
He never touches that thermostat is what he said.
He told them to look at what degree temperature it was on and turn it down.
79 degrees.
I went to my handy dandy Diary and found where I wrote of it 8 days before.
He claims that if he really did touch it...it was over a month ago.
I can still see that puzzled look he had on his face for quite awhile....like he was trying to remember. .
The beginnings of..........................................
I wasn't looking for an argument.   Was more or less taken aback that he had forgotten so soon.

Jill must have stayed at whine buckets place last night.
Her car was at the Moose when we headed to Target and gone when we came back by it close to ten.
When Logan isn't home, I don't expect her to always sleep in her bed.
When he is home....it's a different story!   I shit you not!
The whine bucket must have bought new pillows.   His were thin and uncomfortable and she bitched about them and not getting a good nights sleep when she stayed there.
OH!!!!!  I didn't tell you?   He won 4 thousand on a scratch ticket.
Told moi he only bought one of these tickets.
Wonder what price they were. $10,$20,$25  ??????
He needed her to cash it for him under her name as she makes very little income and this would NIX his chance to file bankruptsy if he cashed it under his name and social security number.
This was the reason they happened to get together for the ride to the lottery headquarters.
He needed her to cash it and I can only assume that she wanted to help him spend it as it doesn't change the fact that HE IS A BULLY.  One is as sick as the other.   I shit you not!
Hubby asked yesterday morning if he was here yet. Said it with a sound of disgust.
After I told him that he was I asked why it mattered.
It just does was his answer.
To which I replied, "she loves him" without really meaning it, but just saying it.
I doubt it , said he.   Make that.......ME TOO!
Hubby doesn't know that W.B. won 4K.
Jill didn't tell me how much he won. I was assuming it was a thousand when she complained the day he asked her to cash it for him and they were NOT AN ITEM that day.
Whine bucket mentioned it to me while he was talking to me without thinking I'm sure.
That money will slip right through his fingers.  Money burns a hole in his pockets.
Then he can throw it up to her the amount of money he has spent on her.  He likes to do that.
If buying her meals and drinks is costly, think about supporting her in a home.
What a dumb asshole.
It's live for today with him.  sigh!

Speaking of which, I'm not doing so bad on that end myself. :0(
Just had a piece of Ghirardelli Pecan Pie with my black coffee.  My first taste of it. ( chocolate candy)
Need to behave myself.

Jill,W.B. and Alex just came through the front door. It's almost noon.

D D Day 10 Ho Ho HUM !

Worked my hiney off yesterday.
Along with the ferret cage cleaning , I did some laundry .
Tracie called me at 1:50 p.m. and said she would be here in 10 minutes to get me and take me up to Kmart with her.
Told her not to rush as her apartment is better than 7 miles away.
She must have taken me at face value because it was close to 2:30 when she came.
Meanwhile Logan is saying he is starving and doesn't want anything we have in the house.
His friend Kenny had showed up with his $6 for McDonalds so I let him talk me into driving them the half mile there and back.
Knew  Tracie wouldn't have a long wait for me if I drove them there in this cold.
Tried to call Jill before I left and her phone box? was full.
Do they call it a phone box or mail box or neither?
Whatever! It's always full.
Figured if she was on her way here she could do the McDonalds thing.  sigh!

Both Tracie and I only had an hour to spend shopping.
She had to take her bother Marty to the bank at 3:45 and I had to get Lady to the groomers for 4.
Did an exchange and shopped for my Cheryl's Danny age 26 ? . Crap I forgot and am not getting off my ass to look at my date book.
Got him p j bottoms as something extra from them under the tree and Shayla a hat, glove and scarf set as something extra from them too.
Gloves and a hat for Trevor and decided to check out the Lego's again.
It was then I saw the set I bought $10 cheaper than what I paid a week ago.  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
No sooner was back home and the LOST had returned.
Asked them if they had been shopping.  Heard her say, no.
I didn't pick up any tree lights as I firgured they were out doing that.
Had to quipt...." am I the only one worried about Christmas?"
No,I don't think so was her reply. With that she headed into her room with the whine bucket and I heard her say, "I'm glad to see you have some energy."
Grabbed Lady and the Lego Space Ship set and I set off in a huff.
She usually takes Lady to the groomers for me.  If she doesn't she at least takes Ginger there to get her nails cut when Lady is ready to come home.
This time of the year it's dark out and I don't see well in the dark. .
Overshot my street and had to back up before I made the turn onto my street coming home and a few other iffy moments were had.
Told Lailani the groomer to give Lady an oatmeal bath as those dry flakes she has are making me itch just to look at them.....shiver me timbers...........poor baby.
Park, grab up my Lego box and head in to KMart.
Return clerk told me my 7 days grace period for price change was up. HUH! WTF!
I could not get a refund of the sale price..
Just as quick as she said that I replied.....I'd like a refund and I will go get another one and rebuy it.
With that she rung up the refund and was very nice and let me repurchase  that same box at the Return Desk for the sale price and I was on my way out the door. :0)
Only makes sense to me. Store policies are nuts!  I shit you not!
Pulled the car further over in the parking lot to the grocery store and ran in for some things.
Bought 4 shovels at $5.99 each.  Ours are hammered after last winter and once the snow begins to fall the price on these shovels go up another $5 or $6 . It's called supply and demand, I guess.
Same thing the South has on plywood when the threat of a tornado is forecast.
The better name for it should be ""HIGHWAY ROBBERY". I shit you not!
Then it was back home where I over shot my street like I mentioned.  sigh!
Lugged in my groceries and left the shovels and 8 packTP and 8 pack paper towels in the car.
No problem with them freezing up.
W.B. was at the computer...Asked him what was wrong with her.  Nothing... she's just tired, he said.
She's been sleeping since we came home....
I look at him and said,  "tired?"
"All she did was take her shower today."    Then I walked away.
It was much later that I found out she was up all during the night..
The why?????
Peeled potatoes and reheated the stuffed cabbage for hubby and I for our supper.
Was almost through washing my dishes and pans when it was time to grab up Ginger and go get Lady.
All my mind was thinking was .... when am I going to be done and get to SIT?
Home again....WB is back at the computer.
Finish my dishes, wash the table and get my morning coffee ready and get in my room and sit in front of my computer.
Seemed like minutes later Jill was up so I went to try to find out what ails her.
She called it Burn OUT, getting old, 49 to name a few.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  wonder if I have ever had any of them?.  I'd say YES !
Still....as I sit here typing, I have to wonder the reason WHY.
Worked Saturday afternoon and into the evening and then she and WB went ? and didn't come home.
I have not seen her do more than make her bed and Logans.
Cut some off the tree trunk and set it in the stand.
Strung a few set of lights on it.
Maybe folded a few loads of laundry.
Cooked our meal Tuesday and Wednesday and we both did the dishes. She did do the wiping up work.
No housework like sweeping or vacuuming or dusting was done by her.
Ohh less I forget, she did drive hubby into Boston.
She loves to tell people and her siblings how much she does for us. :0(
Often we are told how lucky we are to have her.
DIL#1 said those words being vecisious when we were IMing each other the other day.
I told her I was going to slap her up aside the head.
We both knew it was a JOKE!
Later I heard the two of them talking and I heard lunch and a movie. That's where their 4 hours were spent.
Must be nice. I wouldn't know!
She made supper for her, Logan and the whine bucket.
It was sometime during this that I decided to open a gift that was sent to me and found some lovely cherry cinnamon tea among other things .
The tea water was hot so I made myself a cuppatea and SAT and breathed in the aroma. ummmmmm
I was a tea drinker for many years, but somehow got turned onto coffee.
Do drink the tea served at Chinese restaurants.  This was better! :0)
Thank you to Mary.

The whine bucket is back this morning. He's at the livingroom computer.
She is in the shower and as soon as she is out, it's my turn.
Taking hubby and myself to the chiropractor . Have an 11:55 a.m. appointment.

D D Day 9 Hustle, hustle

All in all, it was one of my good days yesterday.
Even with the WB in it.
Just a two hour lunch the two of them took and were here for the better part of the day and right up until whine bucket had to go to his place to put his daughter Alex to bed.
He picked her up after school.  Just because.....  he does miss her.
Jill made a big supper of baked chicken ,taters, squash and corn.
Hubby did get bitchy when he found out he was back with his daughter, but I managed to disfuse it. :0)
Like Jill has said in the past..........it's unfortunate we have to see and hear their squabbles, etc.
If she had her own place we would be none the wiser.
Yep!
Glad she recognises that!

He's back today after dropping Alex off at her school in NH and she just showered.
Yep...getting close to lunchtime and they can have a drink or two with their meal. :0(

While we were sitting around the table Tuesday night, young Gil said his dad was coming home Friday for Christmas break and I think I heard that after January 7th he returns to MS .
I'm still fuming from hearing Logan say the other day that his dad said only people wanting to commit suicide join the service now.
Could not make him understand where we would be if all our service people from the very beginning had that
attitude.
Dad says.....................  dad is right.
Impressionable kids.    What an ASSHOLE!
Logan will have to be deprogrammed again after this lengthly time he will be around his dad. .
Heard Gil say he began a job working for three court justices and Jill saying, "your dad is actually going to punch a time clock?'
To which he replied, " he says he'll quit if he doesn't like it."
Wonder how that works.....you start a job in MS and leave for MA for a month.  ????

This morning was spent scrubbing the ferrets cage down with pinesol from top to bottom and I have most of their bedding and hammocks in the washer on a gentle cycle.
Thought I'd never get done.
Two of them had a ball jumping up at the boughs and dropping down.
One was drinking the water in the stand.
How soon I have forgotten we had this same thing last Christmas.
Wait til the skirt gets put down and they play Hide and Seek under that.
Had just as much work cleaning up their toys and the stuff they managed to knock off the end table and coffee table.
They are mischevious imps. I shit you not!
Hubby keeps telling me to put them up for sale on Craigs List.
It's a wonder he didn't say to give them away on Craigs List.
Either way...I don't have the heart.
I have seen no attachment between one of these ferrets and a human in this house.
It's some of us that has the attachment and think they can't live without us when it's really the way we care after them as to how someone else would care after them.  sigh

Interruptions.....getting nowhere fast.
Once again the workmans compensation company that bought hubby's claim has sold it to another company.
Sheeeesh!
Once again questions and pictures of hubby and his photo I.D., list of his medications and what all.
Five minutes that the fellow that came to the door asked for turned into fifteen.  Always does.
Hubby had just stepped out of the shower and had to get his p j bottoms on before he came out to the table.
Wonder how long it will be before they send him to someone for their opinion on how disabled he is.
It's the absurdity and inconvenience of it all that's a pain in the ass..
No faking going on here.
He would have pulled the best scam on W.C. if he wasn't truly disabled.
Twenty four years now of being disabled.
Me too, for that matter.  I shit you not!

Jill and W.B. just left by way of the front door.
I asked if they would be back and got a yes.
Stupid me should have phrased it different. Like...when will you be back?
I heated up leftovers for myself again today and hubby opted for oatmeal.
Plenty of leftovers for the two of them to have eaten. Oh...stupid me!
No atmosphere, socialization and booze here. :0(

Lady has a dog grooming appointment at 4 p.m.
Looks like it's a day for the animals.
Son Randy came last night with dog bones that have a filling in them.
Ginger loved hers and vomited some of it on our clean sheets..................When?????
Sometime between when we fell asleep and got up this morning. sigh!
Lady probably wasn't able to chew hers.   Her teeth are that bad.  sigh!
It must be under Jill's bed where her day bed is .............waiting for Ginger to steal it away.

Christmas Tree is at a stand still.
Need to buy more lights.
I saw some glitter glue writing crap and got the brilliant idea from I think FoxyMoron to write names on glass balls.
What a heck of a time I had getting the names on to be able to be read..
Used about 20 napkins that were handy to wipe my messes off as I tried and tried to make the names legible.
Let them dry overnight and NOW THE NAMES ARE SLIDING OFF EACH BALL.
I shit you not!
Ran for Elmers glue and got them back on.
For how long is any ones guess.   Bah Humbug!

Must get showered and dressed.
Hubby is saying it's nap time. I think not.  Not for me anyway.
I want to get some old film he took ....movies of the grands maybe when they were small to be put on a CD.
This he would like as a gift...so from me to him, I'll spend the bucks.
I hear light snoring.
No sooner spoken....than done. :0)

D D ishihtzunot: March 2010 and Day 8

ishihtzunot: March 2010

http://ishihtzunot.blogs.../2010  03 01 archives.html
This was my very first post in my Diary.
In changing the format I somehow lost it and had to begin anew.
Hope it comes up for you.
Hubby has a 10 a.m. appointment at the V.A. Clinic in Boston in the ENT Clinic. .
This is the day I call My 50 Yard Dash Day

Out comes the duster that reaches the webs on the cathedral ceiling , the glass wax, Formby's oil for the oak bedroom set , the vacuum and a CANDLE to burn.
Bought a plexiglass plate to put under a candle so I have no more burns from candles breaking. :0)
One whole dollar at the Dollar Store.
Wish I had used one of those before I ruined my kitchen counter. :0(

I'm going to ruin my reputation of being long winded and get my ass in gear before my daughter Jill pulls into the yard with him and things have to cease.
Should have told her to drive s l o w coming back.
What I don't get done in my bedroom today, I will have a second go at it on the 14th when he has a dermatology appointment in Boston. :0)
Same building. Different clinic.

D D Happy Birthday Gil III and Day 7

Happy 20th Birthday to my grandson Gil III

Let There Be Cake!

Logan spread the frosting painstakingly and with love on it last night.
Wonder who's idea that was. Someone else was feeling good in the Bad Sense of the word.
Mom and the whine bucket lavished praise on him during the entire time telling him what a good job he was doing and how his bother would love it.
He lapped it up just as much as he enjoyed lapping up what he got on himself. :0)
TONIGHT my daughter just may STAY HOME .
Well, at least long enough to celebrate Gil's birthday tonight.
Once Happy Birthday is sung and the cake is cut....all bets are off.

Now back to the earlier part of the day where I left off yesterday.

At some point before noon I came to realize I wasn't hearing either Jill or WB.
Went looking......her car was gone. His truck was there.
Okay...so I give them the benefit of the doubt and think to myself..lunch, cigarettes???
Surely it would only be a short while.  Logan is home.
I'm a dreamer.................I shit you not!
Tracie would be picking me up to go to WallyWorld in NH to shop TAX FREE between one and two.

sooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm ready and waiting and Logan decides he's hungry.
Told him to call his mother and he did.
As I was not on another phone listening I did not hear what she had said to him.
He began to check the front window every so often and it was at this time that Tracie came for me.
Just so happened that I was out in the front yard when she came with his food and I walked up to her car as WB got out and asked if they would be coming back tonight.
The expression on my face was more accusing than questioning.
The WB told me that they found a rear bumper and some tires for her car and were going back to the junk yard and more or less affirmed I would be seeing them later on.
I'm thinking more like an hour or two at the most. Not to be....................
Off Tracie and I go.  Took the back roads to NH and passed by a Christmas tree lot. Got the brilliant idea that I should buy one NOW and Tracie agreed to stop on our way back.

We spent a few hours in WallMart. I bought  the Nintendo WII with two free excercise types of games included.  :0)
Now Trevor's list is completed and it will be a combo gift for him and Shayla.
Dad will have to spring for Just Dance that Shayla wants.
My laptop ( meant to keep my private business MY BUSINESS can wait until after Christmas.
I just want. it for when I am away from home, like I will be the month of February and God Forbid a hospitalization.
There will be many computers at my sons Floridas's homes. Thanks...but NO THX!
My Diary IS ONLY OPEN BY INVITATION!
.So can my Kitchen Maid stand mixer wait.
Haven't been Betty Crocker in some time now. :0(
Seems like hubby and I have put ourselves last and the kids first all our lives.
Now it's the kids and our grands.
I've heard that the 90's was the ME GENERATION.
Quite honestly, I think it still is. It's that or now the ENTITLEMENT GENERATION.
Bought myself two $6 tops.  Whoopee!
Thought they were $8 each. Might have bought two more if I had known. ;0)
Sign above had  $8 as the price and nothing was marked.
The new jeans I bought that fit at Burlington Coat Factory were $12.99.
Might go HogWild and buy myself another pair. I like them that much! I shit you not!
Two hours or better in there and we head to a state line market so Tracie can check her NH lottery tickets to see if she has winners and buy more.
Remembered they have great subs and called hubby to ask if he wanted one for his supper.
He did.  That meal was simple. :0)  Being that he can't have the cheese and any of the veggies they put on a Italian sub except for lettuce and onions, the person making it packed it with meat. :0)
I told her he was going to love it and she said I'm sure he will with a lilt in her voice.  HE DID!
It was while I was on the phone that I asked if Jill was home.
He told me he hadn't laid eyes on her.  Great! Just efffin GREAT!
Then it was on to the Chrsitmas Tree Lot.
Last night after dark was not the time to be outdoors. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
In no time flat ( like the first 4 footer the seller showed me ) I said SOLD.  $25
He tied it to the roof feeding the string through the windows, while we huddled inside.
Tracie thought I could have done better by looking around.
I was very happy with it and even happier that it was done so fast and the tree was finally a reality. :0)
We were warned to not drive fast...no problem there driving the back roads and home we headed.
As we pull up the street I'm hoping to see her car so they can get it off Tracie's car.
Neither her car nor WB's truck was in the yard. I shit you not!
Tracie and I still hadn't eaten and we had decided once we dropped my purchases and the tree off we would go get something.
In the house I scurry with some of my bags of birdseed and grab the scissors to cut the rope and get the tree down.
Had to pee and when I flushed a wad of toilet paper rose up. Grabbed the plunger out of the cabinet to stop a flood and said a few expletitives as I plunged.
Logan thinks he needs to use half a roll of TP to wipe his ass.  I shit you not!
He's in the livingroom with a friend and he is saying, " nana there is dog shit on the rug."
Damned if there wasn't!.
Ran for tissue to pick it up.  My lovely Lady.

Meanwhile Tracie is out there waiting for me and the scissors.
We got the tree down and placed it where it can't be seen from the street
Next Tracie has to go into her parent's house, turn the outside lights on and go in and pee.
I ran more of my stuff into the house, gave hubby a quick peck and went across the street and climbed in her car.
Once back on the road she needed gas.
Then a stop at a variety store to purchase her daily lottery  numbers.
Before when she has stopped and I have exclaimed about all the sheets of papers she takes inside, she has said to me " it looks worst than it is." . I have sat and waited., but this time I wanted to look for a wine I heard about that tastes like raspberry sorbet and strawberries ( yummy sounding, isn't it).
They didn't carry it. :0(
Heard the cashier tell Tracie she owed him $15.
Whoa BABY! That can add up in a week.  $15 x's 7.  Not my business!
Onward we go heading to Good Tymes and we have to pass The Moose Hall.
Both vehicles are there, so I ask Tracie to please stop.
Now I'm loaded for bear. Get to the door and ring the buzzer to be let in and who's voice do I hear calling out to me, but my SIL Joe's.
"My Favorite Mother In law" he booms out.
He has always called me that. :0)
He's hugging me and planting a kiss on my cheek and wanting to buy me a drink.
Explained where I was going and I hadn't eaten. Jill ran for crackers, WB went out to get Tracie and Joe had an apricot brandy with oj set up in front of me.
They were all feeling very good. Maybe a little more than feeling good, I'd say. :0(
Bantering was going on between them.
Jill told him that I was charged for my chicken pot pie at the shop and he was bantering away asking me which of his employees charged me.
They will be fired tomorrow....they are all done ..laughing as he said it.
TRUST ME .... the two women he has had working for him for many years..CAN'T BE REPLACED!
They are the backbone of his business.
We both knew he was joking.
Then Jill tells him about the hard time I got up at the Senior Center over Thanksgiving tickets for the meal he puts out.
Same bantering and joking and laughing as he said next time to tell them if his mother in law doesn't get her tickets they don't get no food.
When I finally could think straight, I asked Jill about Logans supper.
Hasn't called me she said.  Told her he would be.
Somewhere in all this wild bantering I mentioned that to my dismay they were not at the house to get the tree off the car roof.
Why did you buy it came from their mouths. We were going to buy our trees on Friday.
Wanted to ask how the Hell I was supposed to know that. NO COMMUNICATION.
Assured Jill it was small as I had heard logan exclaim to his friend that he was taller than the tree.
Like hubby says, stand on bottom, star on top and it's just right. I second that! I shit you not!
Tracie turned down a drink and I sipped mine and chomped down crackers as fast as I could so that we could get out of there and go eat.
I turned down drink number two and Joe's pleading for me to stay and relax awhile and enjoy being out of the house.
I think I heard Jill say that Michelle had called him( Joe) and told him she wasn't cooking him any supper.
Proably was ticked off at him for being out drinking.
Been ticked...just never had the moxy to say I wasn't holding supper.
Finally I drained my glass and we made it out the door to the please stays and were on our way to Good Tymes. Had a delicious haddock dinner. ( fried and french fries ) with coleslaw.
It is soooooo nice of these owners to allow you to get a lunch sized portion for the lunchtime fee any time after 4 p.m.  until they close.
Of course they don't advertise it, but just the same......................... :0)
Home Sweet Home just as the Patriots football game was about to begin.
Monday Night Football is assinine. What about school? What about work the next day?
After calling his mother to tell her he was hungry, he curled up on our bed with Papa and Ginger to watch the game.
They did come home. She made beans, franks, kielbasa and french fries.
It was at this time she asked Logan to frost his brothers cake and he was in his glory.
The praise all during the process was a BONUS.
He put a can of chocolate frosting on the grocery list so he can just eat it plain.  IXNAY on that!
He has the beginning of a GUT already.
Dinner time for those three was around 9...probably later and Logan stayed up with Papa to watch the the game until it ended at 11:30 p.m.
Heard him before school this morning ...his chatty usual self.  Didn't sound any worse for the wear. :0)
WB's truck was gone when I checked at 11:30. :0) He works today...EVEN BETTER!
Jill has been to the bank and grocery store.
Won't be long before I need a butt lift...like this woman had done.  sigh!
She is busy starting Gwumpki ( Polish stuffed cabbage) not a forvorite of Gil's and a favorite ( macoroni, tomatoes and cheese)  of his she will make closer to supper time which is around 6 tonight.
I'm torn! I love them both!

Won't be long before I will need a Butt Lift like this woman had done.
Gil came a few hours ago and is playing XBOX 360 to pass the time before he has to head back to Dracut to pick Erzi up at 3:30 from the school bus.
Asked him what time he started school and he said 9 a.m.  Must have to get him ready for school too.
There is a grade school not far from their house, but he is bussed all over Hell's Creation to the other end of town.
What genius' idea was that?
He will be back at 6 ....with Erzi.
We don't mind, but Julie his mother will be home at that time.
Oh shit...let's give her and the EX SIL from Hell time to have video sex on their cam corders.
What the Hell....

MEOW!!!!

NEWS FLASH!
Phone call for Jill.
Jill's gastro tests were negative.
They found nothing!

She asked what's next as the pain still persists and could she please get pain medication.
Looks like more types of testing is in her future.
Hope I'm wrong about her liver. sigh!

D D Day 6 Sick puppys

Logan came home yesterday around two complaining of a sore shoulder blade area.
Accident with his friend Kenny playing football on Saturday.
He winces everytime he moves it. Hope it is FINE as Julie proclaimed when he had her look at it.
Jill rubbed Bio Freeze on it and he put his heating pad on that area , turned the TV on and was watching it when we left to go out to eat.
When we left there were two bodies in the house.
Came home to ONE.    Logan.
Sometime after 5:30 he called her asking for Wendy's chicken nuggets and chili for supper..
I was on the phone with Tracie when she dropped his food off around 6:30 and took off again.  sigh!
Knew she couldn't stay out of the bar while the whine bucket is at work.
Four hours SOCIALIZING wasn't enough for her. Had to go out for more. sigh!
She is tempting fate each time she gets behind the wheel of a car. I shit you not!
Here we go again.
He will be pissed off that she couldn't stay home while he worked.
Join The CLUB whine bucket.  I was pissed too!

She wasn't home at 1:30 a.m. when I got up to pee. :0(  She's a sick puppy!
I noticed at 6:45 that  no trash had been put out for collection when I peered out , so I grabbed my old warm bathrobe and some brown work gloves that hubby wears to keep the sun off of his hands when he goes out and proceeded to pull all the barrels to the front of the street.
Jill does this the night before, but I guess she was in a hurry to get the hell away before we came home from the OutBack.
Carried each of the heavy pumpkins we had on our steps out to the barrel one by one and had just grabbed the trash bag from the kitchen and was on my way out the front door when the whine bucket showed up which was minutes after 8 a.m.
He took the bag from me and mentioned that she had called him asking him to put the barrels out.
All I said was " she never told me that."Then turned and went back inside.  25 degrees out.
Wind chill factor makes it even less.
Guess the heat from doing a slow burn kept me comfortable out there.

This is out of order time wise......................
   Logan didn't go to school.
I was laying in bed after I woke at 6;15 waiting to hear sounds of Logan getting ready for school.
None...so I went to her room and tapped a few times. No answer.
Hubby spoke up that he had heard her up earlier.
I felt the tea pot and it was warm. Turned the gas on under it to make hubby's green tea while I was standing there.
Logan must still be in pain in that shoulder area and she let him stay home from school to rest it.
Raising his arm to take off his shirt last night was very painful.
Nana rubbed more heat linament on it before he went to bed.

There is a fake Christmas tree up again in Dracut.  At least they have one!
Can this be????
The ten years that my daughter was married to the EX SIL from HELL, a tree was forbidden to be brought into the house until after the tenth of December.
The tenth is his birthday and be damned if the house was to be decorated for Santa's upcoming visit.
NOT BEFORE HIS BIRTHDAY! He was and is a sick puppy!
Looks like he got over this since her married Julie orrrrrrr she doesn't give a shit.
Three years in a row the tree has been up and decorated before the tenth.
Quite possibly this is the third year in a row that we have had NO TREE UP on this date.
All she has to do is ask me for the money.
Maybe the whine bucket could buy one less meal at a restaurant and pay for our tree.
JOKE!!!!  I wasn't serious.

It's quiet down that end of the house.
No coffee being made for the whine bucket or tea for herself. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ODD!
Can only speculate.  Did he lay down beside her?  Is she having stomach pains?
Are they deep in discussion?  ?  ?  ?  ?  ?
Can't imagine that he never called her during the earlier part of the evening yesterday and into the evening .
It's his modis operandi to keep a check on her where abouts.
Is he EATING SHIT??????   He's a sick puppy!

The both of them deserve each other. BOTH OF THEM ARE SICK PUPPIES!  I shit you not!

I'm on the phone waiting for a live person to answer my call to get refills for two of hubby's medicines..
I'm caller #13.
This sucks!

Then I need to make a call to AAA.  Never got a new card and the one I have expired in September.

One call down...one to go.
Haven't begun to make out my Christmas cards.  I'M THE SICK PUPPY NOW!
9:30 a.m.
Jill is up and making her son Gil's birthday cake. Heard the beaters going.
He turns 20 tomorrow.

It's spitting snow!  Maybe today it would be a good idea to get out and put the last few things away so that I can shovel a clear area  for the dogs to run and do their business.as well as around the bird feeders so that I can fill them.
It's definately time to move those chairs to another area.
Don't think we will be using any lawn chairs for a long, long time. I shit you not!

Jehovah Witnesses were at the front door. Jill sent them on their way.
I told her she should have told them that we were of the same faith. We just didn't practice. it.
LOOK!.....no Christmas tree or inside/outside decorations!
  Oh how I amuse myself!

Hubby just asked me if the whine bucket was still here.
Told him he was and I made the comment that he wasn't doing nothing wrong.
'He's breathing, ain't he" hubby spoke.

Hell!   I'm always talking about being one step away from the FUNNY FARM.
THIS IS THE FUNNY FARM!     I SHIT YOU NOT!

That's All Folks!

D D Day Five A wasted day

The Lost was Found.............

The two inconsiderate assholes came in the front door at 11:30 a.m. yesterday.
I had laid down and dozed off after 10:30, but I guess I wasn't that sound asleep that I didn't hear their voices and footsteps
Went to the kitchen where she stood and wearily asked her why she didn't call me.
She gave no answer to that, but instead said when they WANTED TO check their phone messages...... it was too late at that time to make calls.
Asked her if she knew Logan was going to Dracut when she left in the morning.
She told me she did.  He had told her he was when she was getting him ready for school.
So then I asked how I would have got ahold of her if there was an emergency here or with him in Dracut.
Got no answer to that .
With that I told her to have the DECENCY to call me and let me know the next time she was staying out all night. Followed by " you knew I would be worried."
Then I walked slowly to my bed and climbed under the covers and SLEPT until 3 p.m.
In other words...IT WAS A WASTED DAY.    I SHIT YOU NOT!
Hubby had the TV as well as his police scanner on and I managed to sleep soundly with that noise.
She was gone to work by the time I woke.
The whine bucket must have taken her to work and kept her car for some reason.
His truck was parked where it had been since Friday morning.

The rest of my day was non productive. :0(
Even down to callling into the V.A. for two of hubby's RX's.
Both had their last refill and now I have to call his primary to have them renewed Monday.
Another pain in the ass procedure, but a necessary one.

This is where my thoughts just ran to.
Did I dream that we are going to get our first snowfall Tuesday the 7th or was this in a dream I had last night???? hmmmmmmmmmmmm Interesting. Very intersting.
Had to look at the weather forecast for our area.
Chance of snow on Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ,  still don't know if I dreamt it or saw it on the news.
Oh well, that seems to be the least of my problems.
Why look for one. :0)

Returns.    I have returns.  Four different stores. :0(
Paid for my purchases by check, so that means I have to wait 10 days to get cash back or I have to spend that money in the store if I return them before the 10 days are up.
Another pain in the ass.
Even though I'm not feeling like I need a nap during the day since taking Vitamin SUPER-B Complex for awhile ( if I get enough sleep during the night that is ),  I still don't have much Get up and Go.

No tree....no decorations inside or outside.
I leave that up to Jill.  She generally puts off getting a tree until the week before the BIG day and takes it down one or two days at the most later.
I always left the tree up until at least the day after New Years Day.
Liked the ambience.
Besides after the time spent getting things just right I liked to enjoy it as long as I could.
The whine bucket had his tree up until February two years in a row and it was Jill that finally took it down.
The other day I had spoke to her about the tree size. Both of us are thinking smaller.
The whine bucket wants at least a 6 footer. His reasoning is it might be the last year he has his house before it is repossed.  No thought given to the fact that his livingroom is small and the PRICE.
I'm thinking that this year I will pick up a FAKE three or four footer for next year when they are on sale.
Three years ago I bought fake wreaths for every section of our front yard fence and  added to them.
Come to think of it .......... we had a white prelit yard tree and deer out there too, plus colored lights draped from fence section to fence section.
The two of us worked quite awhile out there making it look nice.
Jill stored this stuff somewhere.

The whine bucket must be working today.
All signs point to it.
She is home and his truck is gone.
Had a burning question so I just went to her room and asked her if she had called her gastro doctor about her test results.
Called his office and left a message Friday. No return call.
So then to save myself the trouble of looking back in my Diary I asked her, "How long has it been since you had that test done?"
Two weeks ago tomorrow was her reply.
They usually say they get your results anywhere from ten days to two weeks.
TIME IS UP TOMORROW!
Heard her coughing like she had a cold this morning.
Can't imagine that she stayed at his place with the gas heat turned off.
He must have had it turned on.
Wanted to say something to her .....like isn't his place the same place you couldn't stand to be in these past few years with the piles of dirty clothes and dishes everywhere and those THIN PILLOWS ?
Lennie his ferret's filthy, smelling ,cage!
Wonder how she managed to stomach all that.
Another time...........
For that matter I wanted to ask her if they spent the work day yesterday together too.
Like with him helping to carry in stuff and then taking it out after the function ended.
Seems to me that would be more like JOINED AT THE HIP, than DATING.
Naw...... she will be venting soon.  I know her and this relationship only too well.
There is too much water under the bridge for this relationship to work.
She WOULD NOT let him accompany her as her date to her son Ryan's wedding a year ago September 19th.
Nor did she tell him the date of the Jack and Jill Ryan's friends held for him and his bride Sarah.
She went ALONE and two of her ex boyfriends were invited by Ryan and Sarah and sat at family members tables.
Ryan and Sarah think the world of Chris , Jill's first boyfriend that lived up the street when they were both 15 and have remained fast friends through marriages and divorces.
Chris stays here on occasion when he comes up from FL to see his only grandchild ( much to the whine bucket's dismay).  He has known Chris for some years too when they lived near each other in another part of town. Considered him a friend. A friend he makes a call to maybe once a year UNTIL he and Jill break up and then he calls him two, three, four times a day to cry.
Chris has had Ryan and Sarah as house guests when they have gone to Florida, so it was only natural to invite him to their wedding.
It was up to Jill to invite whom she wanted to be by her side and she chose no one.
Right up to that very day the whine bucket was pissed off and pleading to go with her. .
Not so pissed off to say he had the last of her and mean it though. :0(
What kind of man whimp if the case may be...put's up with that?
No pride?????
That's why I fear some day he will snap.  Won't be all her doing, but still!
This is not love in any way, shape or form.  I shit you not!

Must force myself to do a bit of straightening in my bedroom.
It's the room hubby and I are in most of the time.
With him taking stuff out of his closet to redo shelving it's more cluttered than usual in here.
One of his wheelchairs that is useless to either of us , but is a better wheelchair than what he uses as far as construction goes is sitting out. This wheelchair has a battery pack that lets you glide forward quite a distance with just one push of the wheels.
Easy Glide I think it's called.  Heavy SOB.  Too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car trunk.
V.A. gave it to him and he will use it to sit out in the back yard on the cement around the pool to vacuum it.
That's the extent of using that one and the nice LIGHT Transport Chair I bought him SITS out in a shed.
He refuses to use it!
Jill will be taking him to the V.A. in West Roxbury for his ENT appointment Wednesday.
She has no problem lifting that one.
Myself...I piss my Poise pad straining to lift it up and out or up and in. :0(
There was a time that I had no problem............sigh!
That will be what I call RACE DAY for me.
It's only a matter of hours and I try to do as much as I can in our bedroom while he is out of the house and off of our bed.
Let's see if I can manage to not trip and FALL over the damned vacuum.
Have had many CLOSE CALLS.  I shit you not!
Have the OutBack to look forward to today.  :0)
So many people are having it worst than myself at this very moment and I make so much out of dinner out.
Doesn't seem quite right. sigh!

That's All Folks!
 Beware of this SCAM!

Three kids are keeping your full  attention ,while an adult takes money from your purse.
This is being called:   The  AFLAC Scam
