D D Look what I found!!!!

My neighbor across the street Glenn, rang my bell around 2:30 p.m. to ask me if this was my dog.
I looked to where he pointed and my heart skipped a beat.
How did Lady get out was my first thought and I acted on it.
"Lady, get in here "I yelled.
From Jill's room Lady trotted to the front door.
It's a wonder I didn't get whiplash looking from one dog to the other!

Took this little one in and made the appropriate calls. Dog Pound and police to report I found a Pomeranian.
I could tell she was very young still.  Beautiful white teeth.  No collar.
Knew she was well taken care of and that when someone discovered her gone they would be heartbroken.
Around 5 the lady who is the dog catcher called and asked me if it was possible for me to keep her overnight.
Told her "sure" and that I'd keep her permanently if no one calls.
She loved being beside hubby in bed and he wasn't objectionable to it.
Close to 7 Tracie came a knocking. Had a small bowl of turkey meat, another of Canadian stuffing her mother use to make and a loaf of bread and a coconut custard cream pie.
Asked if I had mayo so she could make a sandwich.
Came in and I gave her a plate and a knife and fork so she could eat.
Her sis had baked the turkey, BUT fell cleaning her cat litter box and was too sore to make any veggies.
Told her to come back the next day, to which she replied that she was going to a Craft Fair with me today.
She left near 8 p.m. and no sooner did I get to my back door to let all 3 dogs out to pee, my doorbell rings again.
Tracie...telling me a van passed her by and some one was whistling for a dog as it slowly drove by.
What to do...what to do, I'm thinking. Knew some one was heartsick if that was them.
Tracie volunteered to track the van down and headed in the direction it went.:0)
No sooner got the dogs back inside and the doorbell rings again. This time I can see 2 people on the landing.
I opened the door to Tracie and ?
The woman spied Lady and swooped down to pick her up saying " there's my Peanut."
Lady booked it away from her and the poor woman said half crying and despondent, "that's not my Peanut."
I couldn't let it play out any longer. Told her that her Peanut was in the other room and as she followed behind me her Peanut came out of my room.
Swoops her up and gives her Peanut kisses and hugs, kisses and hugs me, kisses and hugs Tracie repeatedly and the thank you's poured out between the sobs.

Peanut's collar is too loose. Needs to buy her another, so I showed her the type my dogs wear that you can adjust.  She got out under a small opening in the fence and they thought she was hiding upstairs.
She had been driving around the neighborhood over two hours and had called the police department and no one knew anything about a dog being found.
Lousy communication at the police station!  When one shift leaves and another comes on I guess this stuff isn't important to relay to the incoming officers.   sigh!
Poor Peanut would have been a Creamsicle if she was outdoors from 2:30 to 8. :0(
This lady has 3 or 4 poms of various ages.
Come to find out this is the same household that Jill found the husbands wallet some 3 years or so back and returned it to him.
Rita has offered to bring Peanut by to visit us again.   :0)  And they lived happily ever after. The End!
You know what!!! I might even take a walk up the street and visit Rita.
She seems like a great person and any person that loves animals could be a friend of mine.

Back to the Homefront!

Jill took off shortly after noon.
I had asked her where she was headed, but the only reply I got back was she would be back in awhile.
Shortly after 8 she came in the door.........well tried her key in the door shortly after Rita and Peanut left.
Michelle, Joe and grand daughter Theresa came as Rita was putting Peanut in her van.
We are all at the kitchen table and you could see Jill trying to unlock the front door.
Michelle is calling out, ' it's open."
Apparently she couldn't hear her as she kept trying and I walked to the door, turned the knob and opened it.
Yep...she was SHITFACED!!!!  I shit you not!
Saw a car/truck with lights on at the end of the driveway, so I'm guessing someone made sure she got home alright.
Later on I heard her on her cell phone and could hear whine bucket saying he wanted his life or wife back.
Asked her today and she looked clueless, so I didn't persue it.
Wife/Life ...who gives a shit!
This morning she took off in her pj's around 7:05a.m. to go get cigarettes.
I walk towards the coffee pot and who is passing the kitchen window, but WHINE BUCKET.
I opened it at his request.  "Is she in there" he asked as he pointed to her room.
Told him she went for cigarettes. He waved and said thanks.
Ten minutes later I see his truck parked in the driveway when I went to check why she wasn't back yet.
Called her. She had passed him and he phoned her to ask for 5 minutes of her time to talk to her in person.
She told him there was nothing to talk about. Nothing would be any different.
He acknowledged he shouldn't have touched her.
Bottom line....she told me she was waiting him out. He had to be at work at 8.
She did!
Last night I heard her yelling at him that he wouldn't like it if some man ever touched his daughter someday and SHE IS SOMEONE'S DAUGHTER!
She told him that he was a BULLY!
Once her room was quiet I asked if she was staying in for the night ( that was so I could relax ).
She said yes, but tomorrow she was going out with a "gentleman."
Here we go again!

Logan was supposed to come home last night and wasn't here when Jill came in.
She called him asking why he wasn't home.
Babysitting Erzi was his reply.
Julie went shopping.
An 11 year immature boy watching an 8 year old boy. You have to efffin be kidding me.
Oh...what am I thinking! He has been doing this a   l o n g  time now.
If young Gil is out, Logan has that responsiblity.
So far I haven't found my BALLS to call and make a complaint to the police department.
I'm getting SOFT in my old age.  Spine has deteriorated.  I shit you not!

Dog Pound just called.    Rita ..Peanuts mom had called there last night and left a message that her pom was lost and she/the dog catcher wanted to know if we still had the dog.
Jill took the call and told her they were re-united last night. :0)

Yesterday was a pretty decent day over all!  Hubby didn't rear his ugly head and any day that happens...it's a GOOD DAY!  I shit you not!
Hubby was awake at 7 today and must have had a good nights sleep.
Acid reflux was the culprit the night before. Continued til after the noon hour.
Just requested a slice of pumpkin pie, so he is making up for his lack of eating yesterday...today.
Will remind him that today is the day I said I was going to a Craft Fair with Tracie ...shortly.
I know his reply....we don't need anymore shit.   True, true...  Don't hurt to look though....and maybe..............BUY! She's coming to pick me up between 1:30 and 3 p.m.
Time now is 9:30 a.m.
Speaking of the word " buy "....I bought him an XL Patriots zip down the front sweatshirt for his birthday.
TOO BIG!
This will become young Gil's 20th birthday gift from us on Dec.7th and next time I see one I will pick up a size L for hubby.   A win win solution.  :0)

Jill just showered. You would never know she had too much to drink last night.
At 7 a.m. she seemed as sober as I am.  Oh MY EFFIN head , if she were me!
Just took a walk down to her room and she was dressed and putting makeup on.
I told her that someday I was going to find the BALLS to call the Dracut police department and tell them of this babysitting situation or confront her. One or the other.
If Julie doesn't give a shit about her son, I give a shit about my grandson. No protest came from Jill's mouth.
Okay...next time I definately know he is alone watching Erzi I might find MY BALLS!  I shit you not!
It isn't easy finding this out, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN.

That's All Folks!

All's well that ends well!

D D .it's.............hubby's birthday!!!!

Happy 74th to hubby.
It was 1936 and Thanksgiving Day.  Instead of a turkey dinner, his mother had this bundle of joy. See, I can be nice.

He is Irish through and through and has the temper to  prove it. I shit you not!

Jill and I survived another Thansgiving and we GIVE THANKS for that
Peeled and diced all the vegetables. Squash, turnip, green beans, carrots, potatoes.
Made a cranberry sauce from an online recipe and put the turkey in to bake.
Jill did the rest ...stuffed mushrooms, fresh veggies and dip, cracker and cheeses, cashews, pistashio nuts, chips and dip, fresh fruit bowl, gravy, 2 kinds of stuffing, canned cranberry sauce, bisquits, drained and whipped, mashed and seasoned the cooked vegetables, plus 90% of the cleanup.  Just like last year and
the year before and the year before and............  I shit you not!
Credit ....where credit is due!
I couldn't do it without her help.
Sally my DIL brought a spiral ham. Kim another DIL brought delishous pies she made herself.
Loved that peach pie. ( had some with my morning coffee) Next size pants..here I come. :0(
Patrick my nephews spouse made a homemade spice coffee cake, someone Jill works with made her pumpkin pie ( won't give me her recipe.) :0(
Everyone left by 6 p.m. and that's when Jill finished up wrapping up leftovers and breaking down folding tables.
My two grandsons Derek and David went to their dads.  He did all the cooking. They say his wife can't cook.
Derek stopped by for an hour on his way home to Rhode Island.
Each year Jill works her ass off to put out  a nice meal and I mean WORKS HER ASS OFF!!!
Only sat long enought to eat a little of the main course and that was it.
Butch began calling her this morning on both her cell and the house phone.
Was trying to make her feel bad that his daughter thought she was eating here and was sad.
It didn't move Jill. Told him not to call.
He apparently doesn't want to be DONE like he said the night before and the month before and some months before and a year before, etc, etc.
Let's see how long she can last without giving in to his pleas.  .Here's hoping it's forever.
Around 6:30 she went out for cigarettes and had 2 drinks .
Came home at 8 and heated herself up some of the leftovers and hit her bed right after she ate.  .
My oldest son Jay was not feeling well and did not look well either.  He's 57.
Where have the years gone?????
His breathing is labored because of his huge stomach.
I'm worrried about him.  sigh!
Knock, knock came around 3.   Tracie.... Not all of us were through eating.
Her sister did not cook a thing!
When Tracie went there expecting to eat she was told by her sister Tina that she was sick.
No Thanksgiving dinner after she took her grocery shopping and paid for groceries. :0(
I told her to fill a plate and take a seat.  We had PLENTY !!!
Hubby nor anyone else seemed miffed about it. Thank you muchly!!!!!!!
Tracie has no phone so Tina couldn't call her if she wanted to and her cell phone was out of minutes.
Probably wouldn't have called her regardless. Tina is an alcoholic and probably had a hangover.
Speaking of which.  Jill never seems to have a hangover. :0(
The secret is to drink lots of water after you have been drinking, so I have been told.
Apparently no one has ever told this to Tina.

Black Friday and I am staying home.  Never was one to go shopping on this day.

Scrooge lives here.

This song has been running through my head ever since I heard it in an email...........................

Chet nuts roasting on an open fire..............................

WTF  !!!!
If he had half a brain he'd be dangerous.
He's probably the same guy that has Santa peeing from the rooftop.

Grandson Ryan carving. Jill in background.
Ryan caught me taking his picture.  Gil III in background.

Gil III standing. James, Logan and Erinn on the couch. Logan's friend Kenny in a chair.
Patriots football game on the TV.. Our team won. W2G Patriots!
My new clock on the mantle with the pendalum not moving.

Jill , some of the food and turkey carcasses.

Logan gave thanks and thanks and thanks. He has no fear of speaking before a crowd. :0)
Others gave one liners and others took off and made themselves scarce, both in giving thanks and pictures.
:0(

Another Thanksgiving Day bites the dust and all in all it was a good time, but alot of efffin work for some of us.  I shit you not!

When my kids were at home, I did this by myself Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  sigh!
The Old Grey Mare ain't what she used to be!

It's 9:30 a.m. Hubby is still sleeping.
Watching us work must have worn him out...ya think?
No,.............. it was lack of NAPS during the afternoon.

Buchie just called Jill's cell.  She didn't answer it.
Fridays are the day he needs her to cash his paycheck as he has ZERO funds in his bank.
She's expecting him to just show up....as is his way.
Will send him on his way...she says.

My Cheryl just called ....which woke hubby up.
He woke on the RIGHT side of the bed. :0)
Turned the TV on and was confused as to why he couldn't find his morning program.
Heard him say out loud to himself. " oh, It's 10 o'clock."

Rained during the night and we are having occasional showers.
Could be worst! 35 degrees out.
I'm staying PUT, so makes me no mind.
R and R today...with some laundry and reheating of foods.
Michelle will bring her dad his favorite cake today. Boston Cream Pie.
10:20 a.m. and ALL IS WELL!
That's All Folks!

D D Thanksgiving song It isn't over til the Fat Lady sings!

Happy Thanksgiving to you....la la la.....tra la la
Sing near a window and I'll help you out!
Sing far away and bring your lunch pail with you!
Sing solo...so low I can't hear you!

What an efffin evening I had .
Logan woke at 6:15 p.m. hungry as a bear.
Was taking his Wendy's order when the two lost drunks found their way home.
Eyes glazed over. :0(  sigh!
Where you going, she inquired. To get your son food, I shot back at her.
You told me you were cooking supper tonight, I added in an accusatory tone.
She insisted she would go to Wendys and headed into the bathroom.
I ran out to Wendys before she could.  Didn't want her behind the wheel of a car if I could help it.
Came back and eventually found myself playing Texas Holdem on my computer.
Just me and my thoughts.........sigh!
I hear her call my name... Looked up and see her in the diningroom and she is beckoning me.
" He's putting his hands all over me", she said in a lowered voice.
I'm thinking...he's molesting her.............WHO??
Repeats herself and then said she was about to call 911.
Doesn't want a scene here with the cops coming...just wants him GONE!
Could I go tell him to leave, she asks me.
I opened her bedroom door and stepped in and asked him to leave.
With that the crying and swearing at her starts. WE'RE DONE JILL!  WE'RE DONE JILL!
Give me the ring I gave my mother...boo hoo hoo.. and then I gave to you as an engagement ring...boo hoo hoo hoo hoo... I'm sick of your shit...boo hoo hoo...
Same song...second , third, fourth, fifth,sixth verse.
She is saying LEAVE...leave me alone, stay away from me....promise you won't come back....PROMISE!
He no sooner left and he is back at her door. "Where's my cigarettes?"
Don't have them she is saying. I bought them for you, but I don't have them.
He found them on the floor and left again.
Come to find out......she spent $60 of her $80 paycheck on him today.
Tells me she didn't want to go to a bar today...HE DID.  I didn't see her with a broken arm.
He couldn't find anyone to loan him money today, but one guy said he would give him $100 tomorrow.
They drank at the Moose and then he kept saying he was starving, so she bought him his food.
Bought his cigarettes all day too.
When she said the word molesting.... she meant he was jabbing her with his finger.
Told her to wait until she marries him and see what he does then.
He had no right to touch me she is saying. I know I'm drunk, but I did not deserve this treatment.
"Looks like you are not so drunk that you can rationalize he was wrong in his behaviour", I told her.
In so many words I told her that there are men out there that wouldn't treat her like he does.
Logan was having leg pains and had gone back to bed after he ate to use the heating pad on his knees, so he wasn't a witness to that scene.
I don't know who Logan has been talking to, but he is afraid that she has cancer I heard him say tonight.
I never even thought of that.    sigh!
She praised his Lemur Project when she came in.  Told him it would be our centerpiece on the table tomorrow.
He soaked that all in and looked proud of himself.  As he well should be.
He told her he was sorry for loosing his shoe and she told him it may be in the Lost and Found when he goes back to school. " I'm trying to be reponsible mom, but it's so hard." :0(
Have I told you that I love it that he still hugs us and tells us he loves us. :0)
Thanksgiving before the meal...he loves to say what he is thankful for.  He goes on and on. :0) I shit you not!
Three years back he wrote out what he was thankful for and read it that Thanksgiving Day and we I framed it. :0)
We all take a turn, except for DIL #1 and for some reason she doesn't like to get up and speak.
No problem. She steps outside.  Don't know which is colder after this crowd says what they are thankful for.
 Her or the dinner. :0)

What is a calorie???

Calories are the little bastards that get into your wardrobe at night and sew your clothes tighter.

My closet is infested with the little shits.

One pair of those pants fits me. sigh!

It's 11 p.m. Time to stuff my ass into some pj's and call it a night.
There might be one less person to help get the show on the road in the morning.
Might even be less people at the table too.
Jill told me today that her brother Terry told her he invited his sons to his place in NH for dinner.
I do hope they go to their dads....even though they don't like his wife.  WHO DOES!!!!!
That would mean... his son Derek who's wife and daughters are in CA , His son David and his wife Jen and their sons Jaiden and Jimmy will be absent from one of my 3 tables.
Next off the list....maybe just maybe, whine bucket Butchie and his daughter Alex.
Oh..... I do have generosity left in me..........  it's just taken a Leave Of Absense.
LATER!!!!!

Morning has dawned.  It's almost 8 a.m.
Young Gil will be coming to help his mom lug in the folding tables and chairs and do any heavy lifting.
Still don't know who all is coming.
In an hour I'm making a call to David and see if he is going to his dads.
No sense putting up an extra table if there is no need to.
Jill is busy straightening the livingroom out and just began the vacuum.
On second thought.......maybe there should be a Thanksgiving every week.
I thought she had forgotten how to use a vacuum. I shit you not!

Must busy myself peeling vegetables and do all the other things to make this a nice day.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night. :0)

That's All Folks!

D D Do the Turkey! My Amuzement!

I've  Been amuzed by these little turkey videos as you can see.

I was BEAT by 9:30 p.m. last night.
Tracie came around 2 and headed back over to her car to clean it out so I could have a seat and made room in the back for our purchases.
Two thirty we were on our way.... traveling every back road in creation.
Took at least three times as long to get from point A to point B . Actually I should pay better attention to where we are driving as highways are not my cup of Tea either, but I still do them.
It had begun to sprinkle and it never developed into more than that.  Sprinkled and stopped all afternoon  :0)
First off to Burlington Coat Factory in Nashua,NH.  Spent more than an hour in there. Maybe even two.
Time flies when you are having fun.   I shit you not!
So much area to cover. Some sections I did not venture into.
Found some FAT pants that I'm hoping will fit me.  Wish they had them in another color other than black.
A tan, beige or a pastel to wear in Florida would have been nice.
In one breath I'm thinking maybe I will try to loose weight and in the next ...........oh Hell, you know your willpower left you some years ago.
Thinking maybe these will be too tight and will either have to return them or DO SOMETHING about this weight on moi to fit into them.
In typing this it triggered part of one of my dreams last night.
Someone ( a male ) lost a shitload of weight and handed me his magic pills.
The directions were missing on how to take them, but he said he took them every day whereas they were supposed to be taken 5 days, stop for 2 days and repeat.
Looks like my subconcious is trying to tell me someting.
Loose some efffin weight and maybe you won't feel like your ass is dragging!!!!  sigh!
Found a few Christmas gifts. :0)
From there it was over to Home Depot that was in the same parking lot.
Looked at closet shelving and tried to find the pieces hubby was needing.
No luck, but did see a reasonable set up to use instead of his idea.
He says I'll have to take him to a Home Depot so he can see it.
At least he was agreeable to try something else........oh,yeah, what am I thinking???
That was last night and today is today. He is subject to change or say he never said that. :0(
The Christmas Tree Shop was in that same strip mall area as well as Khol's... Knew I would buy if I entered, so stayed OUT.
We stopped for gas and then headed towards MA and ate at a seafood place. Nothing fancy...but the food is good and I have driven the HIGHWAY and taken hubby there a few times for his haddock dinner.
I was famished!  Ate everything on my paper plate including some of Tracie's french fries. It's no small wonder that I'm overweight.  I shit you not!
Eventually we wound our way towards Walmart. There were two we were close to in NH that has NO SALES TAX, but I had a gift that was in at GameStop in MA next door to Walmart soooooooooo...one less parking spot and stop by shopping in MA and doing our duty( cough, cough ) by paying taxes on our purchases.
Oh...almost forgot. Next door to where we ate is a Dollar Tree and I got my cat litter there for $1 a bag compared to $2.19 in our local grocery store.  Cat litter is cat litter is cat litter for the amount of shitting these 3 ferrets do. :0(
While in there, I spied a turkey pan and for $1, I knew I'd use it for something.
Walking past aisles in Walmart, I spied that exact same pan with a $3 sign.  Go figure!!!!
Gotta watch them!!!!  Speaking of which.....even in B.Coat factory every label said; made somewhere else but in the USA.  Lots of made in CHINA.
Do we have to go to China to see a made in the USA label.???? Yeah, I'm joking.!
Our policies on trade are FOR SHIT!  I shit you not!
So some 7 1/2 hours later we are home and all 3 vehicles are in the driveway. Mine, Jill, Butchies.
Tracie helped me lug my purchases in. :0)
House was dark and everyone was in bed.  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm This is so strange!
Money must be tight.  She made him breakfast and lunch.  ohhhhhh less I forget.............
He glued the broken picket fence pieces back on my vinyl fence yesterday. .
Maybe she told him I was pissed that he does nothing for his SUPPER around here. Maybe!!!
Heard from hubby that she cooked potatoes and the like and picked up Kentucky Fried chicken for their supper. Hubby was fed....yesssssssssssssssssssssss! He wasn't in an ugky mood!!!
Any time I am out by myself I worry that he will be in a bad mood when I get back.
Over the years I can't count the times I heard, " Where the Hell have you been?'
"What took you so long?" " You said you were just going to one store."
I've learned that just being away from the house for however long it is...is worth the yelling. I shiit you not!

Strong wind gusts today.  Hope my leaves blow over to the neighbors .
You didn't read that...did you? :0)
Here it is 9:30 a.m. Jill was holed up in her room and Butch was on the livingroom computer last I saw.
Took our empty coffee and tea cups to the sink.. Her door is shut and he is still sitting in front of the computer.
She did the grocery shopping yesterday while I was off galavanting with Tracie.
Now to try to make things presentable for tomorrow.........I'm no miracle worker. I shit you not!
Run the vac and clear counters today.
Clean the ferrets cage and spray it good in the morning.
Have I told you how cute they are??? Oh, I did!!!!
Their shit stinks just as does ours..........don't let anyone tell you different.

I need to find a gift for Tracie. Know she has been picking stuff up for me.
We exchanged gifts last year too.  I love the blue bird wall hanger she gave me.
Thinking a Gift Card to Good Tymes would be nice.
That or maybe something will jump out at me at the Craft Fair she is taking me to this Saturday.
Somehow...I think she buys plenty of that stuff for herself and has no place to put any of it.
Come to think of it...neither do I.. sigh!

Logan came through the door at 11 upset like I have never seen him. Tossed what he held in both hands and headed to his bedroom crying and saying, " I've had the worst day of my life."
Continued to cry and I was trying to make an appointemnet for hubby to see the chiropractor today at that moment.
Went to him and he is sobbing.  Jill called the house phone and asked what the Hell was going on with him. He had called her and she couldn't understand a word he said.
Finally got out of him that he had lost one of his shoes.
She had told him before he left to act respsonsible and make sure he didn't loose his shoes.
Today was :Wear a Snuggie and slipper day and they changed into them in school.
He was told to put his shoes in the bag with his Snuggie and not in his locker.
He did as told and still one of his shoes fell out of his bag that held his Huggie.
The sneakers were fairly new. Bought him Hawkes and the a cheap pair of sneakers to bang around in and it's one of the cheap sneakers he lost.
Told him he did as he was told and still lost it and it wasn't the end of the world. as he's still sobbing that he was trying to be responsible.
He had to walk up the street from the bus stop in the crochet slippers I made him a few years ago. ouchie.
Every family member loved those warm slippers made with a double strand of yarn an up over the ankle.
Nice and warm walking on floors or just being idle. Street wear...not so good, I bet.
Jill had run an errand and should be home within 25 mintes.
I checked back on Logan to see if he was still upset. He's sound asleep.
Now his friends are calling to come over and I'm answering the phone I'm keeping beside me to tell them he's sleeping. :0)
When he came in he had tossed his stuff on the couch and his project rolled off onto the floor.
I picked it up and looked at it.
Must be all of 3 or 4 staples that his dad put in it.
Wait til you see this thing.  He did his best on it.  Nana had BIG ideas for this project to guide him.

ta daaaaaaaa!!!!

The 6th graders in these United States should be damned happy that I am not a sixth grade Science teacher.
100    AWESOME!
Wonder what grade he would have got if I had had more of a hand in this than the 3 hours.
orrrrrrrrrrrr do I ???? We used his Hawkes sneaker box for the project. Sneakers brought good and bad into his life today.  ohhhhhh The life and problems of an eleven year old!
He didn't put the effort into that lemur that I was intending on doing with him, BUT IT"S HIS PROJECT as he so often told tell me that day I worked with him on it.  sigh!  :0)
Just answered the door to another of his friends.  Told him that Logan was sick and sleeping.
Good job nana!
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm feeling pretty good about now and hopefully he will feel better about his day when he wakes up.
This was so unlike him. I couldn't imagine what happened.
First thought was a squabble with a good friend.

So all is well. Jill is back and she went in and woke him to tell him everything was alright and get some sleep.
Butch showed back up at the same time.
I was right.  He's broke!
sooooooooooooooooooo what's new! I shit you not!
Things to do....oh you bet I do.
Jill is mentally planning where to put some things.
That's more than I have done today.  sigh!

That's All Folks!

D D 5 Little Turkeys

It's coming down to the wire now.

Jill finally came through the front door a few minutes before 4.
Logan had called her around 2:30 and she told him she was out eating.
I couldn't keep my mouth shut...worrying all this time.
Asked her point blank why she was away so long.
Procedure was done by 1 she said and then she and Butch went to eat.
Come on..............gimmee a break.. I'm thinking.    Three hours to eat.  My ass!
She says she didn't stick around to wait for her doctor to come in to talk to her.
Who knows..... ??????
They did do a biopsy. When the results come back from that is anyone's guess.
sooooooooooooooooooooooooo   They are not in the house long when he leaves.
Asked her where he went.... to the store was the reply.
Came back with a fifth of white rum and made them each a drink.
Put the equivelent of 3 shots at least in each of their rum and cokes. You got to be shitting me.
Whatever she was given in her IV didn't put her out so I guess she wanted to knock herself out. sigh!
Then she slept...they slept.... she slept ....got up at 10 p.m. to use the bathroom and went back to bed.
Must be efffin nice.  I wouldn't know.
I'm surprised he wasn't famished again by that time.
This morning she cooked them a BIG breakfast.

Now for the school project...the ring-tailed lemur.
It appears that ALL the ex SIL from Hell did to help him with this project was staple some things together for him.
WOW!!!!!    Oh well................ nothing I can do about it.  He gets a shitty grade....he gets a shitty grade.
Right now being with his dad is all that's important to him.  That's the way it is with kids.
I can't wait for him to leave Friday and wish the Christmas vacation from college wasn't so close.
Buying parts and getting Go Carts fixed was important to him this trip home.
Makes himself look good in Logan and Erzi's eyes.
Speaking of looking good....I can remember back to when the dentist wanted to put braces on young Gil and he didn't have the court ordered health and dental insurance coverage on the kids.
He told Gil that boys didn't need nice looking teeth.
Yep... and the kid swallowed it.  Dad couldn't be wrong about something like that.
Dad wouldn't deny him braces if he needed them.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr   think happy thoughts..think happier thoughts...............

Last night I ran across the street in my bathrobe when I saw lights on in the house to give Tracie a coupon she wanted for a discount at a Craft Fair.
Headed her off at the pass so to speak.
Now I'm thinking I might want to go with her. Looks interesting.
If possible, she and I will go to NH to do a little shopping today sometime.
Whenever time she gets up and IF her brother will change his plans.
He has lost his license to drive for drunk driving and she has been his chaffeur for close to two years.
This is Marty's third offense and he had to wear an ankle bracelet for a good year or better.
Think this is her sister Tina's second offense.
Tracie doesn't drink.   Good thing,  as she couldn't depend on them for a ride. :0)
Not to say that some of mine haven't lost their license to drive at one time or another. :0(
Cheryl and  Terry.
They have them back now and I hope they have learned their lesson.
It's an expensive lesson. I shit you not!

Michelle called last night and talked to her dad between sobs.
IRS was at their business yesterday wanting to see the books.
She has so much stress and now this.
Today they have to have their paperwork ready for the audit.  sigh!

Jill's ex IN LAWS from Hell had a million dollar a year business and had all kinds of hidden income they didn't report to IRS..
Jill copied some of their paperwork secretly and the IRS investegated them and did nothing.
Go figure!   The Golden Family!!!!

Some good news .......My neighbor Mary's son David is going to a methodone clinic.

Must rise up from here...take my shower and get dressed in case by some miracle Tracie gets out of bed before 3 p.m.

D D You Can't Gobble Me Monday, Monday

Today is Jill's test day!
Think she said it's 11 a.m.
Butch just showed up. He doesn't get off his shift until 8 and it's 7:45 . How's that possible, you might ask.
He leaves work early. Maybe once their replacement comes in they can leave.  ???
Heard him sighing when I went for a refill on my coffee.
Could that be because she was out without him last night until 11 p.m.
Sometime around 1 p.m. I asked her if she would drive us to the Outback in her car. We agreed on 2 p.m. and once there she ordered from the kiddie menu,  mac and cheese.
You can order that from the kiddie menu,  as it's not on the main menu.  Live and learn, I say.
Once she dropped us off close to 4 she took off to ????
Something about buying a loose fitting pair of pants as suggested to wear today and  watching the Patriots and Colts football game, which hubby and I watched at home.
Well....... some of it anyway.  He was asleep in no time .
I know I dozed off cause son Randy called to tell me it would be the next day that he would return my car and woke me.  sigh!
Off the hook came the phone and periodically I would doze and come to to see hubby still sleeping.
Was it an exciting game? Don't ask either of us.   They did win by 3 points. :0)
Jill ate most of her meal. Chewed each bite thoroughly and slowly, plus waited between bites.
Guessing someone gave her that advise. ??
In describing her pain to me the other day she described it as slowly moving downward in her intestines.
So if it began in one area , the pain was a little lower and lower over that long period of time . 10:30 to 3:30a.m.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
She had made herself a baked potato and a hamburger patty which she said she smothered in ketchup.
She is laying the blame on the acid in the ketchup.  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
All I hear from her this morning is coughing that sounds instead like gagging.
My coffee went COLD again . Asked her if she had a cold . No ...just her gag reflex. Has the jitters and an empty stomach.

Hubby is still asleep. sheeeeesh! 8:30 a.m.
My typing on this keyboard will probably wake him............or the shower running will.
She just began her shower.
Hubby does have a urinal and portable toilet. Think I will put off the typing until she is out of there though.

9:30 a.m.  Butch and Jill left. The hospital she is having the test done at is about 10 miles from here.
Hubby is awake and on his second cup of green tea.
I just threw my robe on and put 2 cans of Coke out for the waste collectors.
We do this year round. Have for as long as I can remember.
Hubby told me he dreamt that he donated part of his liver to Jill.
That was nice of him....sincerely.
Hopefully we will know by this afternoon if her problem is found going down with a camera.
If not, they will go up the other way.
Hubby commented that he was wondering if she will be truthful with us on what they found from the test if they do find something. hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am always catching Charlie with his nose close to our sliding door looking in at what his life could be like if he ever decided he wanted to come inside.
So far he hasn't wanted to. sigh!  Maybe he knows more than I give him credit for. :0)

Tracie came over last night shortly after the football game was over.
I was up and filling Charlie's bowl and the skunks food pan.
Hubby was just heading to the bathroom after his long nap and muttered obsenities.
She needed to use our phone to call her sister. Her government paid for cell phone was out of minutes.
I kept her in the livingroom and she made her visit short.  Why do I feel ugly just writing that down.sigh!
I am not one to turn a cold shoulder to anyone!

Been puttering .  Jill is not back with Butch yet.
Maybe, just maybe they went to grab a bite after this procedure was done...then again, maybe she isn't sufficiently awake from it. ???? Grabbing at straws.

They're back\! No not Jill.     WALMART

D D charlie brown thanksgiving 4 more days EEEEK!

It's still Saturday and hubby and myself got the bright idea to work in our closets which face each other, so I am taking a break.
Ironed three of Jill's uniforms, black pants, white tuxedo shirt and black apron and one of Gil's and a cotton blouse of my own.
Yep, I wrote that right. Yep, you read that right. I still iron and iron for everyone.
They left a half hour ago and will be back around 2:30 to change into uniform.
It's not a wedding like I thought.
It's some kind of an awards thing and the meal will be served at 6p.m.
That's a big break in between setting the hall up so this award thing must be being held in the smaller hall and then they will go into the main hall that holds 400 or more.
Roast pork for dinner. Hope we get some of the leftovers  instead of it going elsewhere...like the Moose Hall to feed the drinkers.
It will be a late night by the time the food is served and they clear everything out of the hall.
Imagine the drunks at the Moose will be hungry by then.
Okay....so she will be sobering them up for the drive home. Looking on the bright side. :0)
My WONDERFUL SIL Joe for over 20 years would carry all the leftovers over to the members bar side and feed the members.
NOT SINCE HE WAS BEATEN at the Elks House members meeting that he was a member of!
They can go take a SHIT for themselves now!
He won't step a foot inside the Elks now.

Son Randy has come and gone. Brought us the leftovers from his pu-pu platter which was considerable and I re-heated them in the toaster oven and fed hubby and I.
Of course I heard complaining. Too much salt in the chicken wings and fried rice.
Which was true if you have avoided using salt for many years like he has. Oh well.
He is coming back tomorrow in the early morning if it isn't raining and take my car to detail it inside and out.
He is soooooooooo thorough.  Does this for me once a year and I feel guilty when I dirty it.
Right now I have a bunch of books in it to give to my friend Barb.
Haven't seen her in months,. sigh!   My fault, not hers!
There are cloth bags in my trunk he can put them in and get them out of his way.
Maybe I'll take a trip outside and do it myself later. Maybe.................
He's leaving me his small car. If I don't feel comfortable driving it, maybe i can get Jill to drive us to the Outback tomorrow if she isn't working.
Hubby is sorting through some of his STUFF  on the bed. Time for me to get in mine and do some more quick moving and re-arranging of my STUFF . Well my stuff and household stuff , such as T paper, paper towels and tonic. Occasionally washer detergent and softner as well.
In my next life I want a LARGE PANTRY, large closets in most every room, full cellar and attic, 3 car garage with a room over it, and, and, and.
Think I've gone down this path daydreaming in here before.
Oh a couple of maids too, please and thank you!
Daughter Michelle has a 2 car garage or is it three with a large family room over it. Heavenly!
Plus a large livingroom. sigh! Full cellar...don't know about attic.
Joe keeps things full with catering equiptment.  Even a popcorn machine and if I remember correctly a cotton candy machine too.

The Three Musketeers came home around 3. Jill, Butch and Gil.
It isn't an awards banquet.
It's an Installation....probably of new members.
Remember years back when hubby became an Elk member the wives joined them for a sit down dinner after they were installed.
Hubby's number on his card is in the 500's.
Know there are many, many more members some 40 odd years later.
The tonic is all in the closet. Still need to put odds and ends back in there.
I'm a maschocist. Lifted every damn case and put it away myself.
Butch and Gil were playing Rock Band.  If I complain I'm sore tomorrow, it's my own fault.

Sunday................

Hubby waited until he saw me get up for my coffee refill to ask for his tea refill.
When he commented that he didn't rush me and make me get up again today....I thanked him... sincerely.
The work crew came home at 9:30 p.m. All 3 of them.  Butch did a shit load of dishes and pans to help lighten their work load.  Gave the other 2 kitchen workers a head start on loading the box truck.
This made for all the workers to have a shorter nights work.
Daughter Michelle worked this event too and upon entering the Elks  ,she started to hyperventilate .
She suffers from panic attacks under certain circumstances.
Semi trucks passing her on the highway is one that triggers an attack.
Has learned what steps to take to calm herself down.
Knowing all the Elks members over many years and hosting cookouts at her and Joe's house has seen many of these people enjoying themselves...... and then no one divulges names of the two members that beat on him.
It's hard to take. They have cried together over it!
They both still can't wrap their heads around the WHY.  WHY would someone do something like this to them when they have done nothing to deserve it.
Two blown out knees........months of recovering and never will be able to bend his legs like he once could.
Sure.....Joe YELLS when he gets upset or is passionate about some issue, but to deserve two blown out knee caps.................... NEVER!
They brought back soup and roast pork in the containers I provided.
Jill and Butch left at 10 for 1 or 2 drinks at the Moose. Gil went home.
They came back close to 11:30 p.m.
He has to work today.
Just asked her how her stomach was last night to which she said, not as bad as the night before.
Doubled up on Prilosec and chewed Malox tablets before she went out.
Even ate a slice of pizza at the Moose.

Tracie didn't come over or call last night.
Her older sister Tina called here looking for her.
Tina is an alcholic and has lost her license for drunk driving and while Tracie does love her and gives her rides here there and everywhere, she doesn't spend any time with her unless she has to.
Tina was her mothers worries. Always stealing from her or wanting money and I can remember Clara stiffening up when she saw her coming in.
Clara would have been hospitable to my kids had she been the one alive.
Wonder if she worried like I do on how they will all manage once I am gone.
SHIT! You can't even have peace of mind about dying.  At least, I can't!
Maybe all of us parents have that same concern.  Maybe..................

Randy came around 9 a.m. to take my car to his place in NH to work on.
There won't even be a grain of dirt on the drivers side floor.....:0)until I get behind the wheel again. :0(

I have put off the puttering around too long this morning.  Up and at it!!!!!
Have begun taking Vitamin B Complex in hopes it boosts my energy.
If that don't work maybe the threat of a tv crew filming my cluttered house would. sigh!
It's a loosing battle. I shit you not!
