I have good news and SAD news.

My insurance company decided that both drivers were at fault. Huh! Can't see it, BUT the good news is...neither of us will suffer any POINTS against us and have to pay more for car insurance coverage for the next umpteen years, PLUS, I get my $500 deductible back.
The SAD news is my neighbor Glenn in his fifties that has lived across the street from me for moons and was always sweet on my Jill is dying. zHe experienced excrusiating pain in his chest whilke washing dishes and asked his girlfriend to call 911. Bottom line, he had a chest full of blood, blood clots in his left leg ( had an aorta bifemal operation some years back ) and still continued to smoke.
He has been in a coma. Yesterday they took his foot off above his ankle, but the toxins were not stopped and today they were taking it off above the knee in hopes of saving his life. His mother was visiting him and left to go back to FL last Thursday. I saw him on his front steps smoking as Ed and I left for his home and his mother was just stepping inside another very sick neighbors house to say her goodbyes and yesterday she flew back....
I can not imagine her pain. We are not supposed to bury our children. So...if you would, please say a prayer for Glenn. He's a wonderful person and neighbor and has everything to live for.
My next door neighbor Art aged aprroximately 80 just had chemo or radiation therapy number 18 of 33 treatments before the malignant tumor on his nose can be surgically removed.
He coud use a prayer too. Thank you.

We have us....another screamer!

Lily the black bear on Ustream gave birth to her cubs yesterday,January 12th.
Just like Jewel's babies last year this time, one of the cubs is very noisy. It was Jewel's male cub named Herbie that was the screamer.
I love hearing their sounds as the nurse. Can't wait til I get my first sight of them. :0)
So...if you haven't checked Lily's den out, you don't know what you are missing.

I had a good night and a good day with Ed. Life is good!  I'm riding HIGH today!
We went out to dinner and then traveled a distance to visit with his son for awhile. His son works seven days a week on  cars, restoring, refinishing, repairing dents and other boo boos, repainting them ...all at his home in his garage. While he isn't able to sit and visit with us, it's still a visit. His dad is beginning to understand that. ;0) Heard him say "I love you" to his son as we left. It's nice when men can say those words to a son. :0)
His son is divorced and lives alone with his aging Chihuahua Oreo. She's a love!

Keeping an eye on the football game. Go PATS!
