We arrived around noon Friday and I've met everyone and they seem genuine in accepting me. :0)
Yesterday we went to Nashville to the Opreyland Hotel to walk around the shops and arboritum.
TWENTY BUCKS to park. Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! The inside waterfall and greenery and orchids and flowers were worth it! Shops were MORE THAN a little pricey. I shit you not!
From there we went to the MALL where Opreyland Park once was....sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I have such great memories of years past at that park.
After eating a nice meal in a place with a jungle atmosphere, we walked and walked and walked.In and out of shops until we finally found a Wrangler store and Ed found some jeans he would wear. $17.95 a pair. Classic fit, straight legs. Can't beat that price. :0)
The day we arrived here, we showered and went out to a few stores to look for jeans for him. I saw a gorgeous red dress in Goodys ( a store we don't have in MA ) and as I lingered to admire it, he asked me if I wanted it. I declined his offer to buy it for me. Later...I couldn't get that dress out of my mind. Mentioned it to his daughter Debbie after our long day out in Nashville and later as we were watching tv she asked me if I'd like to go shopping with her at Goodys as she had a coupon she needed to use. She went and looked online for one for me to use for One Item and found a 25% one for me. :0) That sixty some odd priced dress looked EVEN BETTER. I shit you not! They still had a size 12 in it as well as a size ten...grabbed the size 12 and headed for the dressing room and IT FIT beautifully. :0)
In some pants I now take a size 10 and in others I need a size 12. I'm NOT COMPLAINING! EXCEPT some of my size 12 pants I really liked alot. A whole lot, but not enough to deliberately gain the weight to wear them. ;0)
Look at me .....talking about mundane stuff. Can you believe it???
I AM HAPPY! I shit you not!
At home...things are not so good, but I'm not going to drag my good mood down. Jill's son Ryan WILL NOT let her grandson Gavin be babysat in our house while his brother Gil is still there. He cancelled his cruise that was booked for tomorrow. :0( Her heart is broken.
Enough on that as I am feeling ON TOP OF THE WORLD! Call me selfish....but ...it's MY TIME!

Today I am making a corn beef dinner while his daughter Debbie, her husband Steve and their son Jason are at work. It's pouring out. Good time for a cooked meal. Hope they like my cooking as I've been out of practice for some time now.
They are down to earth people and I feel comfortable and accepted. :0)
Yesterday we went to Flea Markets. I love those, but found nothing to buy. :0(
