D D Going to try to

Make this short and sweet.
Have that memorial service for Sombay's mom to go to this morning.
She called last night to remind me as I had asked her to.
These things creep up on you so fast and even though I keep notes to myself, I ask for a reminder call when I can.

Yesterday we made it to the chiropractor at 11:40 a.m.
From there I gathered my nerves and made a right out of the parking lot, instead of a left turn.
Hubby asked where I was going and once told.... he was up for seafood.
I drive the middle lane of a 3 way highway.  Kept my speed up to 60-62 and vehilcles wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind me in my rear view mirror kept gaining on me and passing me the entire 10 miles or better drive to NH.
Speed limit is 55mph. Ever since a third lane was made................it's become the Indianapolis Speedway.
Before we left the house, I had in my mind to get chlorine at Namco while in NH to save paying tax on it.
After eating, I left hubby on the sidewalk....went for the car.........then went and picked him up.
Okay some extra in's and outs of the car for moi to leave him curbside and pick him back up .
Beautiful sunny day, no problem getting out to get his Canadian crutches in the back seat and help him out or in.........     unless it's raining.. LOL  Which it wasn't.
Great meal...we leave and as I head out of that parking lot he asks me to take him to Home Depot.
By this time, I was ready to forego Namco and head towards home.....Oh well.
This search for two pieces he needed for his electic air pump would involve a wheelchair.
Out I take the nice light weight transport chair and away we went.
Jill used it with him at his Boston V.A. appointment and said he made lil waves, but accepted it and no waves were made yesterday. Amen!
If I tell you that we were in one spot in the generator section for over an hour while I handed him part after part that he would turn his head and squint to look at..........I wouldn't be exaggerating one iota.
At first he saw what he thought was a store worker and asked him for help. That man was gracious to comply, but he was finally  unable to help any more.
Two store workers....still came up empty.  A third finally ventured up our aisle noticing we looked lost.....again hubby told what he had at home and what he needed.
He knew his stuff.....we were in the industrial generator aisle and we needed to go to aisle 37.
Every part  where we were was much too big. One and a half hours later we emerge with our $4 and some odd cents purchase.
Namco was at the other end of this shopping area , so it was his time to wait on moi.
Will spare you the frustration and time that purchasing 4 - 25 lb. buckets of granulated chlorine took.
It's cheaper to buy that way.   You save $40 by buying four....$30 buying 3, $20 buying two.
If you call $159.99 versus $199.99 a bargain.  Since the gas prices shot up a few years ago now...the price of chlorine has gone from $99.99 for 4 buckets to $159.99.     I shit you not!
Home never looked so good. It was 4:30 p.m.
No matter that I had started to clean in the kitchen before we left and counters were dis com bob ulated.
Hubby fixed his air pump and in leaning to reach for something he slid almost all the way off the bed.
Seemed like it took 5 minutes to get his lower body and legs back up on the bed. Probably did.
Asked me why the bed collapses when he sits on the edge of it.    New to moi?????  : 0 )
Tracie came over around 7 ... we sat at the kitchen table talking...
Low and behold it wasn't long before hubby needed to come out to use the restroom.... where did he sit afterwards.....at the kitchen table.  I shit you not!
Tracie had been to Daisy's graveside service. Daisy had been a neighbor for many moons and in her later years had to move out. She was 90 and a few days old.
Tracie says she was like her second mother. Do know that both Tracie and her mom visited back and forth with Daisy even after she moved away into senior housing.
So they talked about whom was and wasn't at the service..... Go figure him out!    I can't!
Still hadn't laid eyes on Jill since she left after 8 a.m. some 11 hours later.
If she came in while we were out, nothing was different. No towel in hamper, clothes worn to work.
Don't know how the next thing I'm talking about, came about.
Tracie started talking food for her supper.....steak maybe...driving this distance or that...suggested the OutBack...........and what popped out of my mouth??? If you go there, I'll join you for a few Peach, Strawberry sangria's.  Told hubby where I was off to, kissed him goodbye and off we went. I shit you not!
This is soooooooooooooooo uncommon for moi.  Did I enjoy myself...ubetcha!
My favorite waitperson Lydia had our booth.  The place was abuzz....Tables and booths full and all kinds of conversations going on.  The time of day hubby and I go, it's not really busy UNLESS it's Mother's Day or something like that.
Enjoyed my 2 drinks...we talked...Tracie isn't as dense as some people think. She brought up alot of what's been going on with her reception at my house ....was told by Jill after her mom died that she would always get a meal from Jill at least once a week or she never would have come over on Family Night.
We got alot cleared up.....then she told me that her mother hurt her so bad with some words she said to her.
She had been undergoing chemo after her breast removal surgery some years back before she passed away.
By the way .........    .she beat breast cancer. YES!
Her sister was never around to take their mom to these chemo appointments, etc. and her mom began giving her sister praises one day when Tracie took her to her appointment. Tracie asked her what her sister had ever done for her ( the sis is an alkie and begs $ or has stolen it out of her mom's purse:..)
Her words....." at least she gave me a grandchild."
Those words cut Tracie to the bone.. Felt like a searing poker hot knife going through her she said.
She told me of how she has had plenty of opportunities to have sex...did not want to and did not think it was fair to bring a child into this world with all her medical problems since birth that she might pass on.
Sounds pretty unselfish of her, moi thinks.  Way to go Tracie.
Tracie was drinking Sprite....she doesn't drink alcohol either.
Back in my driveway at 10....hubby had nodded off...made sure all the animals had food and water and sat at my computer awhile.
Jill had come home and left right away again, hubby said upon awakening.
8:20 a.m. No sign of her. Know she works a wedding this p.m. She is reliable that way, so I know she will be around sometime today.
8:20 a.m.  Memorial Service at 9:30 a.m. Got to haul ass.
Did I say that I was going to make this short and sweet????   I lied!    I shit you not!
That's All Folks!

D D It's the only job that I know of that

you can be wrong so often and keep your job. Weather forecaster was wrong again.
Was supposed to rain after 9 Wednesday night.
Instead, we had intermittant showers off and on since noon.
Thursday was supposed to be a sunny day.  Briefly the sun would break through the overcast sky.... had mist, sprinkles, light rain off and on all day long.
The mushrooms are sprouting up all over the lawn again.
Not having anything special to do, it makes moi no difference. Except the garden could use some SUN.
Got everything fertilized today...........that's the easy part of gardening.
Must make a notation somewhere to remind me when to do it next.
These years, I live by notes to myself.    I shit you not!
Cheryl called me before noon....the robin few up into a tree at 6:30 a.m. and it hadn't come back to be fed like it has every few hours in the past few days.  She doesn't hear it when she calls it.
Know what she is feeling because I've stood outside calling  out and felt it myself. sigh!
So while she was out there yesterday calling " here birdie, birdie" a cousin of the owner of the buisness behind her comes out and asks her what was wrong...asked if she lost her bird.
She tells him it's a robin. Oh, I thought it was maybe a parrot or something. I'm not getting into that he mutters and walks back into the garage.
Another minute goes by and the robin flys towards her and lands on her head.
With that she bent over and it went onto the cage, then inside.
This guy comes back out and says " did I just see what I thought I saw?" Told her if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes he wouldn't have believed it. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he'd see something like this. Unbelievable.LOL   Guess he learned something.....

Daughter dearest ,  Jill ....has been out since 3:30 p.m. drinking.
You ask...how do I know...........well she has called me a few times and if I thought her tongue was thick on the first call, it was doubly thick at the time of the second call.
Don't worry about me she says when I tell her I will be worried, be careful, all that stuff. " Mom I'm with good friends, don't worry about me", she says. Well I hope those good friends don't let her drive home.
It's seldom the case........those friends are probably as drunk as she is and are getting behind the wheel themselves.
Yesterday she had a few drinks somewhere during the early part of the afternoon.  After the graduation ceremony and 50th b-day party, we all called it a day at 9 p.m. Including Butchie.....maybe because he was offered overtime 8-6 today.  Whatever the reason, I am glad they did not go back out.
Her last call was at 6:05p.m.tonight and they weren't together at that time.
Now it's 10:30 p.m.  Hubby is watching the Celtic's game  and I am listening to it.
Think I will get into some winter p.j's .........the house is all shut up....damp outside.
Be back in the morning with what I hope will be no bad news.
Unbelievable....no sooner typed that sentence and I hear noises coming from her room. Walked out of my room and called out.. "Yes it's me",  I hear and also can hear Butchie's voice. She was crying and calling him names.    Came out into the kitchen to show me her light jacket.. A button  was pulled off.
He had grabbed her out in the driveway she said and she called 911.  Holy Mother of God!
About now hubby is curious as to what is going on and he starts getting up.
She is yelling and hysterical  because Butchie had been calling her names earlier....douche bag...cunt.
Didn't you call me those names...didn't you .... and on and on.
If I know Butchie as she and he have been in these spats in the past and yes, she has called 911 before......he was only trying to get her to come inside and she was trying to go anywhere else , BUT inside.
He apologized to hubby and I and said he was DONE with her.
To tell the truth folks, he can hold his liquor better, but none the less is an alkie too.. Called her a drunk a few times before he left. Did not hear her get any more upset over being called a drunk. sigh!
To tell you the truth, I hope and pray..... he is done with her.
He had called the cops back after she called 911 and explained the situation... They must have taken his word as they haven't responded.  : 0 )
She kept crying and saying that she wanted him to be done with her....he won't leave her alone and stay away like she has asked him to many times over.
Did tell her if she meant it to get a restraining order if he comes around again.
Told her every time I saw him back, I was under the impression that it was okay with her.
She said he just wears her down until she finally gives in to him.
For both their sakes, I hope this is the end and DONE will mean DONE.  I shit you not!
Just went to listen at her bedroom door and she is on the phone with someone.
Can tell by the way she is talking, it's not the cops.
Guess she needed someone's shoulder to cry on as I didn't give her mine.
Hope the soap opera is over for the night.    It's getting old, old, old.
Tied game ................... a nail biter.    I shit you not!

Friday,June 18th.

Okay, one bright spot this morning.....the sun is shining ..weatherman predicts it will be 90 degrees.
He/she can be wrong on the temperature. Makes moi no mind.  A/C is on . Am getting ahead of the p.m. peak in temp.
Hubby woke me in the middle of the night clinging to me and trembling.
Said he had a seizure......described as he couldn't stop shaking.
I think it was just nerves from the episode with Jill and Butchie earlier.
Myself I had a bad dream too, but it wasn't about them...it was about Jill's ex... the puke.
Seeing him at Logan's graduation must have triggered it.
Won't go there .................he can ruin a good F---!    Not that I've had one in years... I shit you not!
Next:   Thought I heard the shower running when I was half awake.... NOT!
Jill was suppose to begin work at 8a.m. today prepping food for a co-worker who had a court date today. Her kids have been taken away from her because she let the druggie( baby's daddy) as the kids term it today back in to live with her and Dept. of  Child Services got wind of it because cops were called to the home to break up a fight. sigh!
7:45a.m.  no action coming from her bedroom, so I knocked and opened the door.
She immediately got up and ready ( no uniform required for prepping food) . Made herself tea and looked in her purse for her car key ring with her shop keys.  GONE!
Made calls to Butchie and began searching the yard.... he had thrown them out front, he said. More looking, more calls got him here to locate them    They were up on the roof.
Both drove off going their seperate ways........I'm assuming.
Next thing......we went through the coffee smelling and tasting funny again. Hubby drank it the last two days with no complaint....Made him green tea and brought him the practically new can of Maxwell House to check out.
EEK!
Must confess..............................It is his Maxwell House, BUT it's Master Blend and he likes the Original Blend.   After searching all over the can...he never caught on.
Jill must have picked it up by mistake....she does 90% of the grocery shopping for me.
Will check out the other new can of coffee and if it's the right blend,. I will switch cans. If not I get a can of Original Blend at the store.... easy fix.
Next: Cheryl calls bawling her eyes out...The robin did not return last night, so I listened to her for a good 15 minutes, trying to smooth things over by saying robins might be on the move as I myself are not seeing them in the yard now and other pleasant scenarios.. Also, again I let her know how I too felt when mine didn't come when called. In this way we can relate to each other.
Learned she may have felt put out caring for this bird daily.............now she knows how attached she became. sigh!
Next: Hubby made waves..............Butchie is NOT coming through our door again.
He can't take these upsets anymore.....
It doesn't help that he stopped liking him a long time ago.... feeds the dogs scraps at the table against his wishes.
This I am inclined to go along with. YES, I am ready and will support him on this. I shit you not!
My B/P raises too when I hear arguments... feel like an eavesdropper if I need to go to that end of the kitchen where her bedroom door is for a refill of coffee....so I do without until it's calm.  Now that's not right to feel like that in my own house..... I shit you not!
Butchie had the audacity to accuse her as being the reason he is loosing/lost his home.I say audacity because he has not improved her life one iota. Financially or otherwise.
If he claims that by  buying her drinks and meals it  broke his wallet..........even that doesn't cut it.
We have fed him plenty of times.
Get's laid!   Need I say more!
She kept yelling back, " what have you bought for me?" " I give you money." " how did you drink tonight? I gave YOU money! "
Butchie may have 10 good things about him like she has said in the past, but none of them will provide security or mental stability for her.
Her cry last night was, " I want to be alone." " Leave me alone."
Hubby just took his B/P... 143/77 with B/P med's in him.  sigh!  Has been much better and much worst.
So that's the beginning of my day.  Hoping the rest runs more smoothly.
The after work......just entered my mind.....not going to dwell on that at the moment.
Need to shower...probably get hubby to the chiropractor before noon and maybe even go get lunch somewhere if he feels up to it.
The Celtics lost.  : 0 (     That won't keep me awake at night or give me nightmares.  I shit you not!
That's All Folks!

D D Announcing the new 5th grade

 graduate.
Ta Da !
Drum roll please.
Logan with his classmates on the way to the auditorium.
Receiving  his diploma

After ceremony cake for students and family
5th grade quilt

Big smile ...new cell phoneWhat a great ceremony to celebrate these 5th graders achievements.
Logan got 2 awards.

Then us adults headed to the son in laws 50th .
Home Sweet Home at 9 p.m.
Long day at the office as the saying goes. LOL
In order to avoid a bumper to bumper mess , we drive to the end of our street and park. Hike up over the brook ( watch out for the poison ivy growing along both sides of the path) up an incline to the school parking lot and go around to the front of the building.
It's a bit of a walk if you aren't use to walking...Not to worry, I still can make it. : 0 )
How is it happening that my grandkids are growing up so fast. Many are out of school already, Shayla is 15 , James is going in the 9th grade. He's younger than Shayla. Erinn is going in the 6th grade. Her school in NH goes from kindergarten through grade 6. Trevor will be in the 5th grade next year.
Which makes me wonder...what grade is Shayla going into? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
That makes 5 of them in school still, 1 in college and the others 13 employed or unemployed.

Cheryl calls me every day now and sometimes three times to tell me about the bird. It keeps coming back to her to be fed. Monday night she fed it and brought it inside ..... Their pastor came for bible study and Dana wasn't home yet. He pulled in the driveway and upon entering the hall he saw a bird. Picked it up and started talking to it.. : did you miss daddy"....other baby talk..   Opens the door and holds the bird out saying," our bird is back."
Cheryl and the pastor were in hysterics... no, no no, Cheryl said.  That's not our bird.
Our bird is inside already.....let it go.
All my kids are animal lovers. : 0 )    I feel blessed for that.
In Logan's year book he said he wanted to become a veternarian to help animals because he loves them.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Been saying that since kindergarten...Time will tell.

Started off today with no internet service and after a few calls to my service provider the news was ....the problem was on my end, not theirs. I shit you not!
HELP!!!!!!!
Pulled my computer table away from the wall, searched ...........didn't know what I was looking for...........but finally saw a wire that went from the Linsky's box to NOWHERE.  sigh!
Much, much more searching .............  ethernet wire.....plugs into the spot where the word ethernet is printed on the tower. : 0 )
Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks.  lmao
Now after  dusting all areas of my computer and desk.....I ran the vac behind there and TA DA.
I'm back !!!!
Grinning like a Cheshire cat...ear to ear : 0 )
Now I'm off to fertilize all my veg's and flowers.  Might as well make them happy too....it's I that will benefit in the end.

If you have followed me from the beginning you might remember how the name female came about. As I said before, the doctor who delivered me at home never registered my birth. I can only surmise that when he died my birth papers were found and FINALLY recorded in 1947.
Not until I was in my 30's did I need a copy of my birth certificate and discovered the fact that not only was my birth not recorded in 1937, BUT I had no given name either. : 0 (
(female) Szczec-----z

10 years and almost 8 months after the fact I had a birth certificate, but no name.

D D I'm loosing

it !!!  I shit you not

Rushed around trying to do some house cleaning while huuby and Jill were in Boston.
Went to sit and rest awhile and found I had opened two cans of Tab.  LOL
Wanted to relate what this mornings raised voices were in regards to as the specifics may escape my mind by tomorrow, like my Tab did in just an hour today.
This morning and asked her what was gong on in regards to the loud , angry sounding voice we heard..
Again he is asking her to marry him and for the umpteenth time she told him no.
It's my daughter, you want nothing to do with my daughter, she's a hinderance to you and so on and so on.
She keeps her mouth shut during these tirades for the most part. Tries not to fuel the fire, so to speak.
Did tell him that after the meltdown he had two times in one day a week or so ago,  she thought he and his daughter could benefit by seeing a phyciatrist...........the two of them have melt downs often and need help.
Already I've forgot most of what she told me..............he left angry, again saying he was DONE with her.
I wish..............He will return...........   I shit you not!
I told her she should have told him that the first time she spoke to him about his spending habits and debts scaring her from marrying him.....he had more than a year to get his act together and he continued to spend what he didn't have if the bills were to be paid. Now he no longer owns the house he still lives in and utilities are cut off and debt collectors have and are taking him to court.
He wanted her to register this boat in her name so his creditors couldn't take it from him...Got miffed at her because she wouldn't......      .LOOSER!
She told me she has said all that and more....he only hears what he wants to hear.
Where did he take his daughter and her little friend, this Sunday...........3 hours of playing miniature golf.
Out to eat at a restaurant........where little eyes are bigger than their bellies.
Fixing her a lunch... .staying home where she has a shit load of toys he has bought her and doing laundry and cleaning while she plays.....................EH??
NOT!  He just hit's the stores for new underwear, shorts and the like.  Isn't that what everyone else does?

My rest is over.. Let's see what else I can get done before they get back here..
Logan and friends are in the pool.  Wasn't it great to be a kid ??? Been so long ago............but I remember.
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Wednesday June 16th

    He'..........................................s   Bac....................................................K
Who do my eyes spy this morning after 8 a.m. .........Butchie!
It's like he never left.  Has taken up his position at the parlor computer.  Lost his internet service due to non payment and has been using mine for some time now.
Tonight Logan graduates from the 5th grade and will be going to a middle school in the fall.
You can tell he is nervous about the change. This will be his first year to ride on a school bus. Mom always walked or drove him to the end of our street until this past school year.
His big brothers have been filling him in on the do's and don'ts.
Sixth graders take a seat at the front of the school bus, 7th sit in the middle and 8th graders sit in the back of the bus.
That is the pecking order , as it is called.
Smaller back packs ............they need to fit in his locker.
Going from one classroom to multi classrooms is such a big change.  I have forgotten what the anticipation of the unknown was like.
Tonight is also my son in law's 50th b-day party. Joe turned 50 on June 10th and between catering weddings and cookouts, it's the only date free this week for Michelle to hold his party.
As fate would have it...............it is also the Mooses' big money night.  sigh!   $5000 would buy a new something.  I shit you not!
Tomorrow all 5th graders go on a trip to Canobie Lake Park.   Friday is half a day of school. It's the last day of school.                                School's Out For Summer
Excitement is in the air.       BMX bike arrives by UPS Friday.
Hubby complained about his black coffee tasting like shit this morning. No amount of reasoning would make him believe it was his Maxwell Original blend.
Low and behold he didn't use the F word or blow a fuse.
Had me make him green tea in the end.
Every so often his taste buds must be off and we go through this..but usually it ends up with him using strong language... sigh!
Maybe old dogs can be retrained !
The dermatologist put liquid nitrogen on at least 6 areas of his skin. Potential skin cancer spots.
There is never a time he has come home without getting treated.
These spots they treat , almost immediately turn to big blisters.
Has had to have 3 area's of suspected skin cancer surgically removed in past years.
Worked out in the sun all the years he worked.....heavy oil delivery winters and hot topping summers did a job on his skin. The light skinned, freckled Irishman now wears cotton gloves and a hat where ever he goes.
Even the sun streaming into our bedroom to where he lies at least 8 feet away , makes him draw up a sheet to cover an exposed area.   Swears he can get sunburned being in the house just by the indirect sunlight.
I shit you not!    Know it fades rugs and furniture, but 8 feet away????    Your thought's ???
Around 4 Jill took off with the grocery list and our check to cash first at the bank.
Came back a little after 6 with Chinese food and no groceries.
She was feeling good......................after supper she put her night clothes on and made herself a rum and coke and then another and then.............. ?
Didn't have enough to drink while she was out, is my guess.    ?????
The other day.hubby was watching some program..............he hollered out to moi , " if you have to have a drink every day....... U R an alcoholic."
One would guess so.................................sigh!

That's All Folks!

D D First of all, let me

make it very clear that I do not have eyes in the back of my head.
Nor do I have xray vision.
Hubby seems to think that I do for some reason.
When I am in our bedroom I am usually at the computer which is the farthest away from our bedroom door.
The...................who just came in's, who's in the kitchen, who just left, what was that noise I just heard, how many kids are in the house, is Jill here, is Jill in her bedroom, did Jill  just leave, has Logan left for school yet, has the newspaper come yet, is that water I hear running ..the toilet or the sink, who's talking out there, what big truck is going up the street, did someone just come in the driveway, what are the kids in the parlor doing, what's that smell,on and on and on.
The how many kids are in the pool, who's in the back yard, what is that I see...a bird or ?...is there water in the birdbath, is the suet thing empty, who's out there with Jill, are the floats being thrown in and out of the pool, are they throwing balls that are getting in the dirt in the pond area, are they making waves and the water is going over the sides, , which neighbor is mowing ( today it's Jill, I told him) ( mushrooms have grown up in the lawn from so much rain), on and on and on the list goes.
Those I can swivel around in my computer chair and usually answer him without having to get off my arse and stopping whatever I am doing at that time.
The ....when did you last put Lady out to pee, how big are the tomato plants,  when did you last fill the bird feeders, when is my next appointment at the VA ( speaking of which, it's 1:30 p.m. today in Boston.) on and on and on.
Marathon cleaning time for moi...Oh goody, sigh!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, togetherness.  LMAO at my funny ha ha.
Jill stayed in last evening. She took moi to WalMart in the rain to get my med's and the other things on and not on my list.    You know how that goes.
Thought we were done with the rain, but Surprise!
She went out from noon to 4.................. we went to Wally World at 7....gave her enough time to sober up, plus traffic sucks  from 4-7 p.m.
As luck would have it orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr NOT.Tracie showed up as we were eating supper. It was the stuffed peppers we ate the other night and we finished them off.  None left to offer her.
Hubby made waves as soon as he saw her at the door from his seat at the table facing the front door.
Commented he wanted to get a restraining order.... that's his way of joking, but the look on his face was anything but a joking look.
As luck would have it, as soon as she heard we were going to WalMart, that was exactly where she planned to go and asked Jill if she could ride along with us.  No problem.
Hubby asked me if she was leaving here when we did.....meant going home, I'm sure... Just answered with a yes...no explanation.
8:15p.m.  we are back in the driveway and she follows us in with her 2 bags.
Shut my mouth...........I shit you not!
Hubby hollars out to me as I come in the door...." your show is on".
 The Bachelorette....yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
She follows me into our bedroom and sits her arse in his recliner, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Until it's over at 10 p.m.   I shit you not!
Low and behold he never said a word about it ...................but wait til next time.
And yes, I can see his point..........sigh!
If I am reading a book, the newspaper, knitting, in an online game.........let's just say for general purposes , I'm BUSY .......I get exasperated when asked any questions that require me to stop what I am doing at that moment.  That's the way it is.....and the look on my face and my posture,  gives me away.  I shit you not!
" Geez, I can't even talk to you", I'm hearing alot now.
If I'm doing nothing at the moment, I think nothing of checking on what he is asking of moi.
If I'm engrossed in something...the hair on the back of my neck...raises along with my B/P.
Kid#5 Cheryl call me earlier this morning to tell me she let her robin go. Flew up into a tall tree in her yard.
Felt relief and sad at the same time.    Brings back memories...sniff,sniff.
Just got off the phone with her again.  Free Bird came back to her when she went out in the yard.
Brought tears to her eyes.  Just like the first child's first day of school....Yepper, I can relate to both the birds and kids..........I shit you not!
She fed it and up in the tree it flew again.  Like myself, she worries that the neighbors will think she is nuts being out there calling the bird....Here birdie,birdie..here Free Bird.
My call was, Sassy ...Sasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sy.
Too friggin funny.......she amazed herself that she got so attached to that bird and can't believe I carried mine back and forth to FL 2 years in a row.
Like mother, like daughter.  I shit you not!
Speaking of daughters...............could hear raised voices coming from Jill's bedroom and Butchie had came after his work shift ended at 8 a.m.  Heard his truck door slam and drive away.  He'll be back! I shit you not!

D D It's Monday and

it's Flag Day.
Long may our flag wave.  Let Freedom Ring

Repeated attempts to begin my post this morning were leaving moi frustrated.
Kid#5 Cheryl called to tell me all about her robin and all the hundreds of other birds she sees in her yard now that she has hung the feeder I gave her up.
Tomorrow is release day for the robin she raised...... It's RELIEF DAY for her..... 3 weeks she has been mom to that bird and she says she needs her life back..lmao
Told me to hang a sign on my door.....No More Baby Animals or Birds Welcome...
She has had it just with this one bird and doesn't know how I did it.
Neither do I for that matter............guess it's like childbirth.   You tend to forget the labor pains.
No sooner get off the phone and sit my arse down and hubby spies a woodpecker on an..............empty suet hanger.    Up I rise and go out to refill it.
Hubby said " thank you" when I came back in the door.   WOW!
Watching the birds, tv and reading the newspaper are pretty much his only enjoyment.
His days must be so longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggg campared to mine.
A cup of green tea..... sure, no problem.
Sooooooooooooo I'm letting my guard down and feeling less stressed these past few days.
You get more with honey than you do with vinegar..... I shit you not!
We went to the OuBack yesterday. No sooner got on the road when the rain began. Not a heavy rain....thank goodness.  Drove out of that shower and it was dry in the parking lot ......showered there while we ate a perfectly cooked  6 oz. steak dinner ( medium) and stopped raining before we exited.
Our dessert was a nap ( took phone off the receiver)  upon arriving home. LOL
Any time I looked out the front window yesterday afternoon ..Tracie's car was not in her mom's driveway.
Find myself worrying that she is in the hospital when she misses a day across the street.  sigh!
All her life she has been in and out of hospitals... Children's Hospital in Boston,MA is where she began her medical care as a baby.
All I know about her medical condition now is that kidney stones keep forming and she has to drink alot of fluids. Fibermyalgia and shoulder and elbow pain that keeps her awake also.

  This morning:
Found out that kid#7 Jill went out after working Saturday with kid#9 Michelle after they both were through their catering cook-outs. There were 5 cook-outs that Michelle and Joe's catering business presided over.
Graduation parties,  most likely.
Last night Joe came back to the cook out site to help load the grille onto the box truck.
Taking it off and putting it in the van is much easier for the girls to do as it's lower to the ground.
He suggested the Moose for a few drinks and he drank 6  beers  and Michelle and Jill each three hi-balls
From there they went to the bar in the center and had a few more.
Joe didn't want to leave ...had run into an old friend, so the girls went their own way.
Michelle home to her house and Jill went to the V.....wanted to talk to someone in there. Ordered plain coke and she tells me the barmaid almost fell over.
When that came out of her mouth, I'm sure she didn't realize the connatation that sentence carried.
If she did.....she didn't let on.
Joe and Michelle really like Butchie and Joe asked her why she wasn't crazy about the guy.
#1..........financial mess.
She has to cash his pay checks. He has no bank account....Mind you, the bank she uses to cash his checks is my joint checking account that I put her name on.
She has/had a bank account at a different bank where DOR use to mail her child support checks.
Such as they were..........never the right amount and months between.
Now they are practically non existant.
This past weeks check she cashed for Butchie was over $1,100 for 48 hours. $800 some odd was deducted.
Child support, health insurance, loan payments, etc.
Is it any wonder that he is losing his house for non payment of his mortgage???
This house when he bought it was not in a good area of Lowell...was approx. $130, some odd thousand.
In the 10 years he has owned it he has borrowed against it at least 3 times and owes over $300 thousand now.
Presently it's not even worth the original price he paid for it.
Any over time he works, he continually takes work days off and that cancels out any extra money in his pay checks.
The boat he just bought with the money he made painting a friends house ...........he planned on cleaning the boat up and making a fast re-sale , profitting from it.
Now he is talking of using it the entire summer.running up and down the river and in lakes....water skiing, tubing, all that fun stuff.
Who wants to buy a boat in the winter?
If you are thinking I am bothered by any of this..................NOT!
Joe thinks his daughter is adorable......................she IS.
It's the issues her parents have given her with their continual fighting and things beyond her years that she has witnessed and heard.  She is old beyond her years ....watching him play into her demands, isn't cute.
Neither was he endearing to moi when I heard he held her up at Jill's door and said " SHE....... is why you don't want to marry me." grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that's mental abuse.
My dad would say cruel things about my mom when he was drunk...I know the hurt.
It was morning and Butchie was sober....not that that makes the words any less hurtful.
Someone at the Moose asked me if I liked Butchie last Wednesday night.
My answer: "Yes I do, but he's not for my daughter."

This is what was running through my mind as I told about the amount of drinks each drank.

Thank God no innocent person was killed or maimed .

Each had their own vehicle and Joe chose to stay and drink longer. sigh!

   On this date I married ex#1............ 1952 in Yuma,AZ.
Out of the frying pan, into the fire.....................  I shit you not!

D D My yesterday

as of 3 p.m. , Saturday June 12th
Rained off and on .....
Housework done.....................zilch, nadda!
Did do a little ironing. Hubby said he thought all clothing now was wrinkle free....NOT!
Got caught up in reading blogs, blogs and more blogs.
Had to force myself to get out...I shit you not!  Or was that guilt? lol
One..ish hubby made a little noise about being hungry.
Rose up off my arse and made him and I hash browns from scratch, bacon and eggs.
We don't eat fried eggs, bacon and hash browns very often................did before we knew or listened to our concience that fried foods were not good for the heart and arteries....oh..and  the extra pounds gained.
Don't care for the grating of potatoes, even less for the fine grating of potato pancakes ( Platski's) as my dad called them.
Figured what the hey..........little waves from hubby deserved  appreciation.
pat,pat,pat.

Remembered also that I didn't give credit where credit was due to my daughter Jill.
She handled Logan's down in the dumps  ( no March 15th birthday cell phone from dad as promised)Thursday evening admirably.
Told him that he must know that his dad likes to jerk people around a little and he probably will surprise him when he gets home Friday.  Told him not to wear his heart on his sleeve.......don't let him know it bothers you. Told him that's why she tells him no instead of making promises to him that she can't keep...
All in a nice calm voice.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what I was wanting to say, but held my tongue, but my mind was working.
He has money for airfares, he has money for fancy hotels and 10 days in Mexico, he has money for etc., etc., etc.
When Logan said his brother had a nice cell phone when he was little.............wanted to tell him he wasn't his dad's favorite child.   At age 5 he voiced this to us....
Being the adults, we all keep our mouths shut as should be the case.
The one person reading this that knows the puke and his family will agree with me. He's a puke and so are his parents .  Gil lll is his favorite...The first born son.
Jill was not even allowed to correct this child when they lived together as a married couple.
How well I remember the hissy fits he threw when she wouldn't give him his way as a 2 year old...
I hate you, I hate you he would scream.
Now he is close to his mother.  Wonder what kind of child he would have become if they didn't divorce.
No I don't.  I shit you not!

Barring no more ( before I forgets) I will step away until tomorrow.

Sunday, June 13, 2010

The rain continued...........and I was in and out of blogs all new to moi.
Joined Ravelry...it's free.    Just what I need is more patterns....lol..NOT!
These things make my heart go pitter-pat.   I shit you not!
So many talented, creative people.
Jill came home with soaked sneakers and socks , sporting a blister.........changed her clothes and left...sigh!
From what I gleaned from her, the hosts of these cook outs had awnings/tents, but there was nothing to get under while unloading and loading the truck she drove there.
Don't think that where she was headed to after work she would need to be on her feet.
.Just needed to be able to bend her elbow.  sigh!
Around 8 p.m. I called my friend Nancy in AK... Was 4 there, so I thought I'd catch her before she began making her evening meal.  More and more I am finding out that our husbands are very much alike. sigh!
Since his stroke he has become more and more demanding of her......and UGLY.
Mind you, he is not a complete invalid. Can use one arm and walk with a walker. Showering she has to help him with. Was told not to drive, but he is sneaking..
He wanted his lunch earlier yesterday and she was out working in their vegetable garden. Nancy has a BIG garden. She cans and freezes vegetables to last them through the winter months.
If I haven't said it before.........we are so unlike each other...........her the pioneer type woman and moi takes that as far as camping. lol  She has no interests ....such as knitting, crocheting. Never learned anything about a computer.  sigh! That's a BIG SIGH!  We could chat away and do emails as often as we liked.
She has raised a cow and helped to cut the meats off it.   Not even on my best day would I do that.
Has shot and killed big game and cut the thing up to put food on the table for her kids.........I'm not squeemish...I just can't kill. Then again, I haven't had to make a choice,,,,,feed my kids or............
Told me wild rabbits are getting in her garden....shot off a b b gun at them and they just stood there.
Got her 22 out and fired it...they just kept chomping away...next will be the shot gun.
Told her as long as I don't see it...do what you gotta do.
She has promised me if I ever get to visit her in AK she won't shoot anything while I am there.
That's what friends are for.....   : 0 )
Hubby's care takers while he was hospitalized told her that hubby could do more than he let on and not to fall victim to his demands.
She found her voice and told him that he was perfectly able to put the chopped meat on crackers that he wanted for lunch.                  She has since got the silent treatment.  Been there many times in the past myself. Even to being locked out of our bedroom for a night.
They have had seperate bedrooms for years, so he can't pull that stunt on her at least.
What she can do, that I know nothing about is take part in building a house. She is familiar with all tools and how to use them. When she was a janitor at a school in AK she could work an industrial floor buffer as well as a man could.    Oh...at first the men gave her the wrong info and jerked her around on how to operate it, but quickly saw she was determined to learn after a few bad starts from the wrong info they gave her.
Guess our skills compliment each other. Both skills go hand in hand.
If I could live my life over.the one thing I would want to do is go back to the year we both were in the same school for at least part of the school year. We may even have been in the same class room together.
I nneded a best friend then..was boarded out in her hometown of Middleton,MA with the brother one year younger than moi while my parents were busy working  and looking for a place big enough for the 6 of us.
As I sit here thinking.................. we both chose the same type of men.   UGH!
Would like to call her more often...........could.......all long distance calls in my Comcast package are free to anywhere in the USA,.but knowing her hubby's temperment....I do not want him bitching about my calls and moi putting her up against a wall and a hard place.
Speaking of a certain someone..........Tracie called me at 8:30 p.m. right after I hung up from talking to Nancy.
"I have a strange request", says she...." I just got a roast beef sandwich at the BeefMaster and they are closing, so I can't eat it here. My brother cleaned my mothers attic out and there is no place to sit and eat it. Can I come to your house to eat it. I won't stay long."
What do you say to that?????  Sure, come on.....sigh!
True to her word she didn't stay much longer after she ate her sandwich........but still kicking myself that I put the phone back on the hook after the AK call.    All p.m. I left it off the hook....I do that alot....especially when I want to nap. Then I plain forget to put it back on the hook or just don't care to hang it up. LOL
Did get a nap in........a rather long one..........both of us did............both of us decided at 12:30 a.m.it was time to call it a night. A certain someone was not in her bedroom.    I shit you not!
It's Sunday..........OutBack day.  No sun shining.  Dreary, damp and overcast.  Turned the heat on last night.   Low, but ON.  Have had these damp, cool June's in the past where we needed to turn the heat on.
Especially when my parents lived here...........now it's hubby's turn to be cold.  When he was young and in good health he growled about having to turn the heat on in June......looks like it's bit him in the ass now.
He has been in alot of pain....left leg and foot .  Is lying back on his pillow with a wedge under his legs as I type.  He is talking to the tv....someone talks about a subject and he gives his opinion to them.
if I am in another room, I think he is talking to moi and either call out " are you talking to me" or come into the room and ask that question... " No, I wasn't talking", is his usual response with a look on his face like I was hearing things.
Yeah, right!
It's presently 9:13 a.m.    Hope by 1 p.m. he feels up to going out......................if not, I have decided that Chinese take- out will be a good second choice. lol     I shit you not!
That's All Folks!
