D D Day 15 and some little pieces to the puzzle

In reality it's still day fourteen as I type.
Didn't get as much done as I planned to .
What with the phone calls and being polite as long as I could before I made my escape.  sigh!
Logan came home from school and was quite upset that the tree was decorated.
Threw a hissy fit . Called his mother and was accusatory and beligerant and even said the hate word.
She has never allowed that word to be spoken by him or her other kids.
It went from hate the tree to hate you on the phone.
When he did calm down ,he explained how he had told her he wanted to do it with her and he didn't touch the tree in Dracut because he thought he had this tree he could decorate and now he doesn't.
I'm telling him to take all the ornaments and stuff off and redo it if that's all he wants.
Not the same he said with a pout on his face. .
If he wasn't over his UGLY when she came through the door, a few words from her got him to give it up. :0)
I am not use to seeing Logan like this.    I no like!  I shit you not!
I know he had a rough weekend. He said as much when he came through the door Sunday evening.
Last night he fell asleep on the couch and had to be woken a few hours later to do his homework which took him to ten.
There is no structure in Dracut.  A child's dream. Until you have to pay the Piper it is.
He must have requested Wendys chili as she brought some home to him.
Last night I bought and took home hubby a Take Out corned beef dinner from Good Thymes.
It was the Special of the Day and he loves corned beef.
He had already had WonTon Soup for his supper. This was for his lunch for Tuesday after he got back from Boston..
I could have just bought the corned beef  to make a sandwich, but oh no...I'm being nice and bought the full meal knowing he would be hungry once he was home from Boston.
All he wanted of that dinner was the corned beef between bread.  sigh!
Logan has a meal in his belly. Hubby has a meal ( well full belly) anyway and Jill and the whine bucket take off to go to the bank and then get groceries to make supper around 4 o'clock. .
Same song.....a different verse......tick, tick tick.
It is now six thirty and my belly isn't full.  sigh!
No supper being made here tonight.  :0(
After I showered I put pj's on thinking I was staying in and eating supper here at home.
See what happened to THOUGHT!
Tracie had called me earlier offering to pick me up. I told her I was staying home tonight. sigh! :0(
There's shit here I can eat if I get hungry enough.
Had a turkey sandwich with stuffing in it at twelve .
Was very tasty.  :0)
So now I'm sitting here stewing.

7:02 p.m. and they came through the front door.
The whine bucket is alllllllllllll happy, happy.   You know...the kind of happy you get from liquor.
No groceries, but she was sprinkling garlic powder on five nice rib eye steaks.
I spoke questioningly...no other groceries???
No, but these are not on you she said.
Everytime the whine bucket went outdoors to the grille I'd get a few more words in.

Me: Can't we have some sense of normalcy around here ?

Her: I'd like it too.
Her: He wanted to go drinking. He's been gambling and I told him that he hasn't learned a thing from me.
Soon he will be broke.
I finally told him if he was going to continue to drink and gamble I was leaving him there.
He bought the steaks and he wants mashed potatoes with it.
I'm not making them. We have other stuff here to make.
I am going into Cambridge tomorrow to work and when I am done I will go get groceries.
Gil will be here for his uniform at noon. He is working with me.
Tomorrow Butchie works at the fire station.

Me thinking:      Hallelujah!!!!!

So as I leave off the two of them are preparing our supper.
Him manning the grille and her the veggies, etc.

                Wednesday December 15th

After supper I spoke to her about Logan's acting up and saying the hate word.
She told me she hung up on him. She wasn't about to put up with his shit, she said.
She told him she was going to hang up if he continued to speak that way to her and she did.
At the supper table he was hugging her, kissing her, telling her he loved her and in general was funning around with her.
That's the Logan I know. :0)
Much later I heard her tell him that his Math teacher told her in an email that he was her best student.
Heard him saying that he loved her and he was praising her. She was his best teacher this year. :0)
He loves math.  Hope he becomes the veterinarian like he wants to be. :0)
One of my sons excelled in Math too and he wanted to become a Math Professor at Harvard.
He took the highest classes in the first year of highschool and dropped me a bombshell at the end of that year.
He now wanted to go into computers and go to the Tech school here in town.
In my day a vocational school was for those that couldn't apply themselves to book learning.
Well Live and Learn............. I'll cut this short and say...he retired at fourty.
After he attended the fund raiser for Michelle's nephew Jimmy to get his liver transplant he made the decision he wanted to enjoy his kids while they were growing up and money wasn't everything and retired to spend quality time with them.
I have also had other things I've voiced to myself come back and kick me in the ass, but that's for another day.

This morning I got out of bed as Logan was leaving for school just before seven.
Jill was getting ready to be at the shop to begin prepping food at 8 a.m.
Knew this would be my best chance to talk to her about what went down yesterday and on December 11th.

As I was saying..I had overheard the whine bucket and her talking earlier and him getting all bent out of shape.
He was complaining that she never has time for him.
She had told him he only had a two day a week job and hers was FIVE.  To which she added to me...that is if I do it right.                   Thank you for adding that JILL
In between him leaving and coming back  she had heated up leftover Chinese food.
When he saw her eating that he whined that he was going to take her out for Chinese food for lunch.
She told him she has been telling him for two days now what her schedule for today was and there was no time to go out to eat.
Well when you came back we could he replied.
Noooooooooooo we couldn't. Who wants to eat at 3 and then cook a meal was her retort.
It was then after more whining and complaining he tagged along with her for the trip into Boston.

It was suppose to be a stop for one drink before hitting the grocery store.
I'm quite sure he didn't twist her arm.
One drink led to....let's have another, from him. Two led to three and three led to ...just one more and I will run into the store and just buy steaks for supper. ( That man loves his steaks.)
I could smell the booze on her when I passed by her yesterday, but she wasn't in the same mood he was.
Supper was a Smorgasbord!  :0)
She made rice pilaf, heated up the sweet potato that Randy cooked two of Sunday and the veggies from the corned beef dinner.
To my amazement she talked Logan into mashing the red potatoes with his fork and adding butter and seasoning to them. He ate them and had more!
This is "The Whipped Potato Kid".  I shit you not!
That is the way my mother served potatoes for most of our meals.
She would cube and cook the potatos. Drain them and you spooned what you wanted to eat onto your plate and did the rest yourself.  I loved them that way.
Later when the house was quiet I saw a tall brown bag on top of the trash.
Knew what that once contained. I shit you not!
In her relating things to me this morning she told me she had thought he had left for the night and he came back with a new bottle of booze and made himself a drink. Nice....real efffin nice.
Finally thinking I would open the missing pieces night..... I began by gently telling her she needed to report what happened.
Her: What can I report? I have no proof.
Me: An incident report.
Her: I am going to be doing some sleuthing on my own.
She explained what her plans were.   ( Shades of her mother)  She is so like me in that respect.
I have done the same thing ........only about an entirely different circumstance.
Her: I'm sure I wasn't the first he has done this to.
How would someone his age obtain this drug?  She is voicing that she thinks where he said he travels all the time he sells pharmactical supplies.
Another name for this drug is GHB ,she said.
More things have been coming back to her.
She remembers handing Tim the bartender his tip . Does not remember telling him goodnight and when she leaves she always gives a parting goodbye.
Has no memory after giving Tim his tip until she woke at 3 a.m.
Noticed one of her cigarettes and her lighter on her car floor once she was returned to her car the next morning.
That's telling her she got into her car and pulled a cigarette out to light it.
No memory of it though.
It came to her that when she got into this assholes car to leave...her passenger door opened directly to the walkway to his house.
He had backed into the driveway.
Me interjecting my two cents worth here and there . Gently.
You don't have to be sore to have been raped. You were a limp rag doll.
Her: No swelling in my vagina.  She explained to me what she experiences after having had sex.
Me: You were kidnapped.
Her. Yes, I was.  Which entailed more talk of this that I can't remember right now.
Me;  What if someone else he does this to starts screaming when she wakes up?
He is liable to kill them to shut them up.
Her;  I know.
I don't know why she doesn't at least report this. She said she might.
Is it the embarrassment of having to say you were in a bar drinking and this is what happened to me.????
We need to do some further talking and as soon as I find the opportunity I will be urging her to go make out a report.
Somewhere in our conversation she said to me, " ma...I had four drinks last night and my mind was clear.
You could see she was struggling in her mind to rationalize how powerful a drug she was given.

SIGH! Just stuck my nose in the GHB site.
If she had gone to the hospital they could have taken a urine test and detected which drug if any was in her body.  damn, damn, damn.
It also gives you the directive to REPORT IT.
I sit here deep in thought and contemplation.  The IF ONLYS!
I remember her saying she remembers his car.   Don't remember her saying she got the plate number..
No, I know she didn't say that.  She may have, but she didn't relate that to me.
So much is running through my mind.
Isn't doing me any good.
Did I say yesterday that she thought he said his name was Mark.  ???
She sort of remembers saying her name was a four letter word too... to him.

Must do a little something before it's time to go to the chiroprators.
I called last night to make the appointment and asked Kathy on the desk if three year old Devynn's parking garage Christmas wish from Santa was taken off the tree.
It was still there. :0)
Asked her to take it off the tree and put it with my file as I had purchased it.
Tracie will be by later this afternoon and if I don't get up to the Town Hall before then, I will go there with her.

That's All Folks!

  1. Never a dull day, huh, my friend? It's sad that Jill didn't report all this. Ignoring it does not make it go away. It is something that festers within. As I said yesterday, I am just hoping that she gets it together. At 49, it's time to settle down....and get rid of WB.

  2. i think she should report it too ,if something happens to somebody else there is a record of it. This Guy is a predator and like she said he probably done it before and he will do it again.Even if nothing can be done about her case it might help somebody else. And i don't know why she puts up with WB
