D D Day 13 and My Sunday

Everything began just great after I left off yesterday..
The ride....Alex singing her Sunday School song to us that she has to perform with the other kiddos in 10 days right down to the meal cooked to perfection by son Randy.
There were some moments where Randy was getting on our nerves.
Unfortunately, he has that tendency. :0(
Speakers turned too loud ( constantly messing with the volume to show off his surround sound) , winding up cat toys ( clatter, clatter, clatter), trying to be the host with the most by constantly asking if you need more chips or Doritos and what kind you prefer more of as we were trying to watch a movie with Alex.
He can't sit or stand still orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr stop talking. . sigh!
Watched two movies I would never have bothered to watch though even with the interruptions.
Not much of a plot to follow. :0)
One was about a cartoon dog called Gromit and cartoon sheep and the other was Fred with the wrestler John Cena in it as the father of Fred.
Only a parent could love that kids voice. I shit you not!  :0) What a crazy movie, but Alex liked it.
Liked both of them matter of fact.
I found myself enjoying them with her. :0)
Dinner was ready to eat at 4.
The BIRD!From the oven to the counter.

Randy had a haircut, I just noticed.

This is his cat Tuesday.
He was from my area and was going feral and Randy took him home after one of his cats came up missing.
Now both his cats are indoor cats.
Miss Vegas his other cat does not like company and hides under his bed when someone other than himself is in the trailer. . She was born to a feral and he trapped her, tamed her and had her fixed.
He calls this cat pictured Scoop Tuesday as a Tuesday was the day he scooped him up. :0)

This cat has put on the POUNDS.
He has toys all over the trailer for his cats and this cat is sitting on the toilet waiting to be brushed when he hears the shower turn off in the morning. :0)

Jill's stirring the potatoes she brought already whipped and Randy is admiring his bisquits it looks like.

A cat shelf...More toys.

Alex watching a movie.
That afghan on the back of the couch was made by moi, years and years ago.
I bet he has the only one that still is in great shape.
He has no kids. Self explanatory!

He feeds the feral cats too and keeps a kennel in his covered patio with the door off and blankets in it for them to sleep on.  TAKES AFTER HIS MOTHER!  :0)
Another son has a mother feral cat and one of her kittens.
He put a basket on his covered porch when he saw she was pregnant and she had her 3 kittens in it. :0)
Found homes for 2 of them and when the mother cat cried trying to locate them in the house Sombay went and asked for them back. Felt so bad for the momma cat, but we were able to convince her that mama cat would be fine in a few days. :0)
Son Larry feeds the ferals where he works also. Buys large bags of cat food. Has for years.
Son Terry also has taken in ferals and the most recent needed surgery on a leg to the tune of over $300 when he caught it. He also buys large bags for work he buys large bags of cat food for and has 2 or 3 cats at home.
I am proud to say that when one of their pets have died from old age they cried tears
Grown men can cry and SHOULD!
Son Jay and his wife have 2 cats. One was a kitten that needed a home and I forgot who they got it from.
I forgot that Alex has allergys  to cats. Wasn't long before her eyes were watering and she was sneezing.
The whine bucket had to keep stepping outside with her under the shingled awning.
Happy to say we were all hospitable on the 25 mile ride to....and from.
 Jill drove.
Coming back it was POURING.
She only has one good eye. I was wishing W.B. was behind the wheel, but she did fine. :0)

Once home hubby watched a little of the Patriots football game and nodded off.
Butch took Alex to his house and Jill and I chatted for awhile.
It began with me saying.........he must have got new pillows for you to sleep there two nights in a row.
When she spoke she said. " I didn't sleep there last night."
I'm thinking to myself.....oh no she met someone and slept with him and I voiced it to her.
It's worst mom she said. Much worst.
I am still trying to digest what she told me...Before I get it wrong I need to play it over in my head a few more times.  Then I will write down what she told me.
I'm glad though..  .that she is able to share with me.

That's All Folks!

Hey, don't you know there are *rules,* about leaving your Readers in suspense?????<--Kidding. I'm sorry there is more trouble. You'll tell it, when you want to do so.

    Meanwhile...

  4. Oh no, a cliff-hanger. Just by the way you said you need time to sort it out, it must be pretty bad. I love that your kids inherited your love of animals. My boys as well. More than once he has saved a little kitty and carried it all the way to the shelter where they do not 'put down' in the city.
