D D The weather and a little of this and that

It was so warm all night long!  How warm, you ask?  Warm enough to sleep with the sliding door fully open. The humidty is HIGH!
This is the first few days into May !  Never in the past have we had that warm/humid of a night that moi can remember, this time of the year.  I shit you not!  . For the first time this year and many months before, moi slept in shorty pj's.  Woke several times with the hair against the back of my neck feeling soaked.
Woke earlier to a gentle rain, arose...let Lady out to pee and did the same, only inside.
Being it was still dark at 5 a.m., I laid back down, listened to the gentle rain and zonked out.
Heard Jill come in around 11...She arose and showered awhile ago.  The sounds coming from her as she walked around were worse than people make with a hangover. I shit you not!
Her rib/ribs are killing her.  Hurts worst to just sit or remain idle. Getting ready to go have an xray taken and is grunting and groaning. Said she is definately working this Friday and Saturday. Sunday is the memorial service for Deb's dad and she will quite possibly have to cater that as well as be at the service to support Deb... What am I saying! She is hoping she has be the one in the area where the food will be served setting things up.  She avoids being around Deb as Deb shoots from the hip. A year after Jill's divorce Deb told her it was time to end the Pity Party and get a FULL TIME JOB. Find a place of her own for herself and her 3 sons.    Deb is not a favorite sister in law. To be fair there are more reasons why they are distant with each other besides Deb's move to Florida. Don't know Deb's reasons, but her oldest son was told to move out as soon as he graduated. Derek graduated and Jill took him into her home. Great kid.....in his mid 30's now and a dad to a l  year old girl, Ava....the apple of his eye. David was told to move out before he graduated.. Think he was 16. Also in his 30's and dad to a year old boy, Jaidan. He too adores his son. A measure of pride and joy envelopes me when I see them so totally involved in the light of their lives. " Love him so much!"     " Love her so much!"
My son Terry is their father and Nancy would not take them in.  The no backbone son I mentioned yesterday. Called him to wish him a Happy Birthday. Conversation went very well. No negativety, political or racial views thrown in.  No voice raising many octaves.  Amen!  He loved his ex wife Deb's father and got emotional when he said he was a better father to him than his own dad was. TRUE.
Wants to install a hardwood floor either in my entry or Jill's bedroom with the leftover wood flooring from doing his 2 bedrooms, livingroom and ? Bought too much and this will be his gift to me for my birthday.
He is very busy doing things to his new home...don't know when he get get down this way to do it. Told him to just drop the wood flooring off when he comes here for the memorial service for Jim and Randy or Butchie can do it. He remembered where the church is because it was where he and Deb got married. Moi forgot that and SO DID DEB.   LOL  Have attended a few services there since and never made that connection.
Logan is staying home from school. Went to bed with a headache last night. Watched him take Childrens Motrin and grab an ice pack and head to bed. Was after 10 before he fell asleep. Still not feeling good or maybe he didn't get enough hours of sleep in.
Still overcast...rain has ended for now. Hubby has been given his juice and 2 cups of coffee.  Set for now.
Comteplating my next move.
OutBack meal was perfect. One young waitress in particular named Lydia is THE BEST.  Always tells me to get the car and she will help hubby out of the booth and  out to the car and get him in it.
Found out she likes non fiction books, so brought her three. Told her plenty more to come if she likes that particular type of non fiction.  True Crime.
She is divorced with a 3 year old son.  Have invited her to bring her son out to our house to swim this summer.
Tracie from across the street came over for a few hours last night and the night before. Sigh!  Left at 10 the night before.    9 p.m. last night I told her I needed to get to bed.  Know she is lonely, but!
Hubby heard the doorbell ring and said " keep her out in the other room." He was watching 60 Minutes and moi was on the computer and listening to the tv when the doorbell rang.
Tracie sleeps until after 3 p.m. . Goes to her apartment from her mom's house in the wee hours of the morning. Has always had her days and nights mixed up so to speak. Knows everything that goes on in this neighborhood, if you get my ghist.  Knows before I do when Jill pulls in the driveway. Knows how she was walking ( sober or drunk ).  Knows when Logan's bedroom tv is on...livingroom tv... what female neighbor she saw with a  male neighbor ouside late at night. Who's the better parent ( in her opinion ) in each house nearby. Yah, you got it!  I shit you not!
That's All Folks!
