That must have meant that I didn't have a whole lot to write about and that can be a GOOD THING.
I shit you not!
Then again....I was busy with a doctor appointment for hubby in the morning. Then Chrys came to cut our hair and wash the gray out of mine;0) Later I went out with Tracie from six to ten . :0)
Hubby's doctor acts all gloom and doom about palliative pain management through Hospice. Looked me in the eye and told me that Hospice is the next step and that means NO INTERVENTION if he should need it. HUH??? WTF? I nor hubby is signing off on him getting medical help when needed. Hubby is FAR AWAY from " buying the farm" in my opinion. He gets stronger every day and is using his walker to get around just for the exercize, many times during the day. It's the pain we both want GONE! IF the meds he is given cause him to stay in bed....it will be his decision. Pain free and bedridden or......................pain and the ability to get out of bed. His doctor agreed to talk to Hospices' doctor after he kept putting forth the question to us if we wanted THAT and undersdtood what we were doing. Shit, I'm not sure of what we are doing. It will be trial and error and if hubby opts out I'm certain he can. This doctor makes it sound so " cut and dry." Gloom and doom. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
He told hubby any med he could give him for his stomach pain would not be good for him to take, BUT he DID NOT explain why or what the side effects of it could be and let him make the choice. Kidney damage? Liver damage?? It should be hubby's choice to make. He will be 75 the 26th of this month. Having to live with this stomach pain ( shoots across from the bladder to mid stomach ) every day for the rest of his life or???????????????????????
Jill saw her doctor and she wrote down exactly how she wants Jill to take her three B/P meds and how much of each. She told the W.B. to STOP TAKING HER B/P so often through the day. Just one time around 11 a.m. IF THAT! Him telling her what it is causes her to get anxious, etc, etc. Jill said she came right out and took her in before seeing patients who had appointments and was the nicest she has ever been to her. :0)
Tracie and I went to Khol...Kohls ? , BUT NOT BEFORE she had to go to her apartment for her wallet that....held her drivers license. Six p.m. is one of the worst hours to be driving ( traffic wise ) and I was not a Happy Camper even if it was she that was driving her own car. Asked her how she managed to leave her wallet home when she always keeps in in her glove compartment and the story she told about not being able to open the glove box with her bottle return bags so high up didn't soothe me, This was not the first trip we have made to her apartment for her wallet. She lost her cell phone again, but back tracked her steps and she had left it in a store before she came to get me. I still can't believe it was 9p.m. when we walked out of Kohls. NOT complaining. The time just FLEW by. :0( Tried on coat after coat and found a nice black wool dress coat I liked. It's plain and belted. So ME! :0) Bought Simply Vera corduroy leggings in size L and XL. A Return is coming up....the L fit me. :0) These are so dang warm feeling. Comfier than jeans or sweats. Found a soft pullover V neck sweater that hubby can/WILL wear over a V neck white T shirt or colored for when he goes out. Damn...you should have seen the way he was dressed yesterday. Patriot's plaid pj bottoms, with a flannel different colored plaid button down the front shirt. Good thing he isn't a 'clothes horse" and also he can't see well. PLUS he never looks in a mirror. :0) He wanted one of his plain flannel shirts to wear and that's what HE GOT! When it's colder out, I will put solid sweatpants on him to go for appointments and the likes. They will be soft on his legs, I should think.
I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping trip :0) and from there we went to the 99's to eat. I had a $5 off coupon and we had one of the $9.99 meals that was offered. Shrimp Toscana for me ( YUMMY,YUMMY )and Chicken Parm for Tracie and a nice little dessert came with the meal and a salad. Do I mention here.... that I had not one, BUT TWO some kind of fruity rum punch drinks. Forgot the name of them, BUT NOT HOW EASY THEY WENT DOWN. ;0) I shit you not!
Randy wasn't here yesterday. Is today until two working alongside the other worker and he tells me that he and John will be back tomorrow. Two p.m. ......I can DIG IT!
Michael came last night after working up near the ME border during the day ( long drive to here and a long drive to his home ). Finished up the wiring. Closets were framed yesterday.
Michelle came to sit with her dad. :0) Jill was here most of the evening. Went out to get a bite to eat with the W.B. I'm calling him the W.B. because....he is becoming verbally abusive to Jill for the UMPTEENTH TIME because ( this time ) she refused again to marry him . It went on and on from there. It was just like it was in the past with me feeling unconfortable using my own kitchen to get a refill of coffee, etc. He had the nerve to tell her he hopes she has a stroke, anuerism, etc.
Now he's calling her and asking her for her help. She thought he meant ( moving help.) her words. " politely. no." No not with moving....I mean my medical issues, temper, etc. I didn't mean the things I said to you. I don't know why i say these mean things.
Once he told her he was going to get help for his mood swings, etc. He made ONE CALL. That was the extent of that! Earlier she told him to leave and stay gone ...... it won't happen. Never has. I have nobody ..You have a family .is the cry I heard from him earlier.
He ruined my morning...I'm not going to allow him to ruin the rest of my day writing about him.
New PC still in the box. When the day comes that Randy sets it up for me, I'll post pics of my car and...I've forgotten ;0) Still don't have my new car back.... could care less. It's staying new and with less miles on it. :0) 2011 Camry with 9K miles on it runs just fine under my ass. I shit you not!
Going to shower. Know that I feel better when I do and dress. Keep dragging my feet for some reason.
Visitng nurse ( Michelle this time ) will be here between noon and one.
That's All Folks!
The ramblings of a mom of 9 by her KIDS that are STILL making her climb walls ,even as adults. Said I DO 3xs and I WANT OUT 2 xs. Have learned there is no such thing as a Rose Garden. My motto is Life Is Too Short To Be Miserable. When the bad outweighs the good it is time to shit can em. Laugh with me or at me, welcome to my world.
