Dear Diary: My day goes so fast...... I know not why.

My days go by so fast. Have for years so it seems.
The ferrets were put on the back burner since I began this blog, literally speaking.
Their hour of morning play outside their cage in the morning  has been cut back. Bad nana...bad  mom.
I'm mom to 2 of them, nana to one, but in the beginning I was nana to the 3 of them.
Grandson #13 Gil purhased the first one, it became he and girlfriend Cassie's baby...named him Diesel.
Ferret # 2 Cena was bought for grandson #17 Logan that lives with us by his dad for a Christmas present in 08. It's also a male, named after his favorite wrestler John Cena. Cena was to live here part time, part time at his dad's.  Cough,cough!
Ferret #3 is a female, bought by kid #7 Jill's man friend for his 5 year old daughter Alexandra. Smorz as she was named was a nipper. Somehow she found her way into Cena's cage taking up residence there also. Months later man friend said it was mine.  Like I wasn't wondering why it was left here. Surprise!
Gil n Cassie decided they didn't have the time for a ferret. Were beginning college.  Their baby found it's way into Cena's cage. I thought it was just visiting for awhile. What a dummy I am.......I shit you not!
Smorz became Bitsy n  just may become Randy.
There is a story behind that, but it can wait for another day.
All 3 have a different personalities, are so much fun to watch playing outside the cage. Smorz/Bitsy/Randy is a climber, chews wires too..( the reason a name change may be in order )... Diesel is a mellow soul...Cena is rambunctious. All 3 have certain favorite toys they hide everywhere .. Make sure you keep your shoes on when you enter. They love toes..instinctly know your feet are vulnerable.
All 3 got that damn flu.  Over $300 in vet/medicine fees . Not to speak of the distemper shots earlier.

They go through a 7 lb. bag of Marshalls Premium ferret food in 5 weeks. The Poor House has the door open for me.
   I know not why my days go by so fast...
Maybe I do. Could it be the time I spend watching LIVE puppy cams.

Two months now watching http://www.ildanoch/ puppy cam. Irish Springer Spaniel pups. soooooooooooo cute, playful, mischievious.
Just began watching http://www.ustream.tv.channel-lhasa-apso/. Newborn ... so teeny tiny. Can't resist.
Love the smell of new puppy breath...sigh!   When I was a kid our dogs got " in the family way". Will never forget that smell even though it's been many moons ago.
If you have some time check the puppy cams out. Even if you don't have time do it.
You won't be sorry. I shit you not !
