Dear Diary Because I Can't Remember Shit

I'll put up a few pictures to post for another day right now..
Finished the teddy afghan for a baby girl's shower and I'm delighted with the tan and bright rose colors. No longer do parents use pastels and I have quite a few made in pastel colors.
These days it seems the brighter the better.
Myself, I like to see pastels on babies, but that's just me. I'm an old fart. I shit you not!

Same afghan. It looks cream in the top picture, but it's a cinnamon color.
Made this one this year....just because.
Now I need to make a smaller one in fushia for the baby shower to fit when she is one.

These others were not made last year. In fact the christening set was made 32 years ago when Jill was expecting Ryan. I must have thought she was going to have a girl. ;0)

That was from a pattern book and I still have it.

This I
made from a pattern and added a hood.

Another pattern I changed up and added this hood pattern to it. I suppose if I put my mind to it, I could figure out what I did, but NOT NOW.

This last picture is what I am working on now. It's a Bubble pattern and it's free on the internet. uses 2 strands of yarn held together and a M or N hook. It feels clumsy working with that big of a crochet hook, but it gets easier as you go along. This will be a car seat blanket for the baby shower and it's fushia or a shocking pink.

Had fun with Jib Jab, but I'll be damned if I am going to pay $18 a year and they automatically renew you for a few hours of fun and then get tired of it.
I'm going to go dress Ed and I up in other outfits, just for the mell of it.
Well....maybe, maybe not! ;0)

Awwwwwwwwwwwww shit!  I gave JibJab the 18 bucks. :0)
No fool like an old fool, as that saying goes!

Today is Labor Day.  No better time than to finish this post as it can be done sitting on my a$$.
That's pretty much what I've been doing all day. At age 77, I'm pretty good at I now. I shit you not!

(((hugs)))

That's All Folks!

  8. PAT -- Your handwork is outstanding! I learned to knit when I was 7, but I can't hold a candle to you. Amazing -- and how luck are the babies who will benefit by your needlework. EXCELLENT. Oy, I am such a slacker -- I have not knitted anything in ages. Maybe it would help my hands!
All the best to you -- post more of your craft! Gorgeous.

PS I laughed out loud that you paid Jib Jab anyway -- so cute!
