Won't be coming home today. The culture hasn't done it's thing yet so we still don't know What? Why and he ran a temp of 102 yesterday. No temp now. IV was weeping and was put in another vein. That happened after a few days to hubby too. When he does come home he will have a visiting nurse and hopefully catch up on all his schoolwork while he recuperates.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
If anything changes, I will update this post.
Been learning to cook all over again. ;0) Hubby's complaint was the chicken was too tough on Wednesday. It was!
Last night the stuffed peppers were stuffed too full and the peppers weren't done. They were fine and he ate all the pepper and almost all of the meat inside. Yummy, yummy in the tummy. Which reminds me....his constant bitching is the reason why I stopped cooking in the first place.
As of Wednesday, I am trying to lose the extra weight I've gained since May AND MORE. Joined a weight loss challenge to motivate me. I'm eating myself out of my size 14 clothes. :0(
Whatever else is going on in my life is small shit in comparison to getting my grandson Logan home and WELL..

That's All Folks!
The ramblings of a mom of 9 by her KIDS that are STILL making her climb walls ,even as adults. Said I DO 3xs and I WANT OUT 2 xs. Have learned there is no such thing as a Rose Garden. My motto is Life Is Too Short To Be Miserable. When the bad outweighs the good it is time to shit can em. Laugh with me or at me, welcome to my world.

ReplyDeleteI love stuffed peppers as well...and stuffed cabbage. Yummy!!! Don't cook it though cause when you are married to a Dominican, they can be pretty darned fussy. Glad to here Logan is on he mend. Hoping he returns home soon.
ReplyDeleteMary
I love stuffed peppers too...hope Logan is going to be ok..worry about all of you.
ReplyDeleteHope he keeps getting better Pat.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that Logan is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteWhen I do stuffed peppers, I blanche (boil) the peppers 'til they're soft. I also use pre-made Spanish rice to mix in with the ground beef - pour tomato sauce around the peppers and add cheese to the tops. Easy and fast!
