D D Elvis is in the building!

Noooooooooooo that's really NOT what this date means to me.  When I mentioned to hubby on the phone last night that he would be coming home on Elvis' birthday ...I got A LOT of WHO'SSSSSSSSSSSSSS and finally he understood and said "who gives a fuck who's birthday it is." I agitated him ( I guess ) with this info.  He sounded like I was the crazy for remembering this date. Then I told him the reason I remember Elvis' birthday IS because it is the same date my dad died.  August 16th,1997. Then I heard an " OH" on the other end of the phone.
Rest In Peace dad.  I wish I had known what made you TICK. sigh!

We stopped and picked up WonTon Soup at Ming's for his lunch. He ate it all, plus the bread. :0)
Had many False Alarms that he had to have a BM . Get him into the commode or on his porta potty , pull pants down...pull pants up.    NO SHIT! ;0)  Finally got him into bed; gave him the pain med he wanted and this is how he was in minutes after saying," I don't want to fall aleep."  Got him to lie on his side :0) . Plastered his butt with an ointment for breakdowns. he was getting RED AGAIN.
At present...he is not able to dress himself, but he did nicely with the walker. :0)

I've taken this time to call family memebers to let them know he is home and to quickly let all of you readers know as well. Thanks for ALL the GOOD WISHES my friends. 

I'm thinking......I AM GOING TO CRAWL BESIDE HIM...NOW. I shit you not!
