D D Any way you look at it

Going to bed around eleven and waking at five makes for a longgggggggggggggggggg day and NOT ENOUGH SLEEP.  I shit you not!

I have been washing the dog beds in preperation for giving all three dogs a FLEA BATH.
They are LOADED with fleas.    If I get this under control I WILL SHOOT the first one that lets Cash get close to another dog when they are out walking him. I shit you not!

It's 6:40 a.m. now. Too early to call a hospital and when It's a good time after 8 a.m. or so, I will.

Called at 8:30 after I gave all three dogs a flea bath and sat in my wet clothes hoping to hear him sound better.  He did in a way.  Was eating his breakfast, so that was a good sign.
Bottom line is.... he is somewhat.....knows the date, etc., but still thought he was home.
Daughter Michelle took my car and went to visit him this afternoon.  I , ME , cleaned out the back shed and still have more to do in there.  Why do we keep the shit we keep??????   Yeah, I don't know either.  Maybe some day I, WE or someone will need it is what I reckon too. ;0)
His doctor called me and was talking about how she thought he would do better at home. ME, I'm thinking once he is back from where ever he is....yeah.
Told her that Michelle was there visitng him as we speak and she said she would go meet and talk with her.
Bottom line...she told Michelle she could release him as early as tomorrow.   WTF!!!!
Guess if you have no medical problem........OUT you go!
He will be taking antibiotics until August 2nd for the C Difficile, but those he can be given at home.

It just turned midnight.  Cinderella's chariot/Queen size bed awaits her. ;0)
OH, his doctor told me he didn't go to sleep until four a.m.   WT HELL!  What happened to the sleep aidmthey told me that they were giving him last night ????
He had less sleep than me .............UNLESS you count all his naps.
TONIGHT she said...  Yeah, I've heard that before.  sigh!
One good thing she told me was that he hadn't been agitated today.  Could it be because I didn't visit him. ;0)
DIL Deb said as a nurse for over 25 years she has seen alot of this behavior and for me not to take what he says personally or to stress myself out over something that I can't control.  I'll try.
I'm so tired that for lack of a better choice of words...I'm struggling to keep a conversation going.

That's All Folks!

  2. What does DIL Deb say about bringing him home, with this bad infection? C Difficile. If his hospital visitors have to gown-up and wash hands, etc. -- How will you maintain that protocol, at home?

With not only you, but others living in same house?

    When is Jill coming home?

    Gentle hugs...

  3. These hospitals are so frustrating. I realize it is all an insurance thing, but they are putting patients and their families at risk. At least the hospital should have a home health aid in place before sending someone in your hubby's condition home. Sending prayers and (((hugs)))
