D D Another step backwards

This week Jill had been doing good.  I meant staying home by that remark!
Then last night.......what does she do, but leave at 6 p.m. saying ( when I asked ) going for a bite to eat. I feel like eating pork strips.  I won't be gone long.
sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The hours ticked by.  It was after 8:30 that I called her cell phone. She didn't pick up. sighhhhhhhhh
Left her a short message, " Jill, why are you ruining everything ."  Spoken as dejected and weary as I felt.
Heard her come in at eleven.
Thus far this morning she has been up to put Cash and Lady out while I was half awake around 6:30 a.m.and is back in her room with the door shut and I hear only silence behind it.
I slept til after 6 a.m. this morning and when my feet hit the floor at 6:45 a.m. I said out loud to myself. " It's morning....already?" Spoken with a whine in my voice and a pout on my face.
Hubby had just made his way slowly into the bathroom.  It was just me and the four walls and Ginger to hear me.   Let's just say.... my feet have not hit the floor running, but I WILL SURVIVE.
I don't see my situation as grave as some of you do.  Is that called DENIAL ????

Tracie was over a number of times yesterday in between packing her car to the hilt and going to storage to emptying it out.   Needed bags, cold water, just to chat about her situation and how her brother has no heart. Was suppose to go to ME to her great neices 2nd birthday party Saturday and does not have a way to get into Boston to take the bus to Bangor,Me. Even if she took the train from our town, she does not know how to get from North Station over to South Station in Boston and that's where the bus leaves from.
Hope she wasn't looking to me to offer.  :0(
Purchase papers on her parents house were signed and the owner wants to get a crew there today to begin stripping the roof and as of Tracie's last trip into my house ...her car was chalkablock full , storage was closed and she still had stuff to get out of there.  It was after 6p.m. I remember becuase I had heated leftover potroast for hubby's supper and woke him to eat. He didn't want it or anything to eat. sigh!
Looked at it after it all nicely heated and removed the carrots and meat to a plate ( potatos and gravy left behind :0(   ) and was sitting eating when she last came and was hoping to be able to sit and read the newspaper when she came.....which I was, but had to put it down. sigh!
You can imagine where my mind was about that time........hope she leaves soon....pray she leaves soon.... No such luck!    I shit you not!
Offered the use of the yard for her to bring over her large planters with her plants and her mom's hibiscus plant ( given to her on Mothers day from her son Lonnie ) the year she died and that damned plant STILL BLOOMS. It blows my mind. I had one given to me by my Cheryl and took it in for the winter, cared for it lovingly and one by one the leaves fell off and it became BARE.  While this hibiscus has lost many leaves it still buds and BLOOMS. I shit you not!
It must have the right window ( picture window in the front of their house ) and I have no windows on that side of my house, except for where I sit at the desktop or the bathroom.
That's not even a consideration :0)
Just got up and went to the front of the house to see if there is any activity across the street. None. Would bother me to see that hibiscus tree thrown/tossed out like so much rubbish and trust me there is alot of rubbish to toss.  This  tree was comprised of two different colored peach plants ,twisted around each other as it makes it's way up to the main plant and when the two bloomed it was  GORGEOUS.
Here it is...what? three years later and the flowers ( though few ) are still GORGEOUS.
Good grief! here I sit talking about a plant and though I don't know what time yet that a visiting nurse will come,  I do know that one will and I have done shit. I shit you not!
Jill is up.
Neither of us got confrontational.  She was at a friends house here in town quite a bit of that time, she said.
Didn't get drunk.
Must make mental note to leave my cell phone on and near me so that at these times she can call tto tell me where she is and not ring the house phone after 9 p.m. as is THE RULE.
Make NEW RULE. Call my cell phone . Saying you will be gone awhile is not 5 hours later!  I shit you not!

Jeepers CROW!  I keep scraping the top of my toes .  Don't ask me how. I JUST DO!  Ouchy!!!!

9a.m. Just had to use the plunger on the toilet. That's Always FUN!  NOT!   I shit you not!

That's All Folks!

  1. Guess the next question is, what will it take, to make you see your situation, as rather grave?

I'm not picking on you. No one is picking on you. We are outside-looking-in, and our vision is more clear, maybe... And we don't want to see you go "down-in-a-heap." -sigh-

Who would take care of hubby, then? Who would take care of you, then?

    Gentle hugs,
    ~♥~

  2. We tell you these things because we love you. Yes, my friend. You are in denial. Right now you may feel that you can keep up with everything, but it catches up to you...and then what? We nag because we care.

  3. i'm surprised Tracie is still allowed in the house, here after the house is signed over that is it, you can't go back in the house.Take care of yourself and have a good long weekend (i hope)

  4. You feel like you can handle it all because this is all normal to you, but from outside of it, it's not a healthy way to live. Sort of like domestic violence, yes? You have to get out before you see that the way you were living was really crazy. Take care of yourself.
