Once upon a time....I was 5 feet 7 and a half inches and wore pants/slacks that read TALL!
In my sixties I wore AVERAGE !
DIL took me to Bealls to shop for dress slacks for this wedding today and slacks with just the size on them were too long.
Good news/Bad news. After trying an 18 on I found they were too baggy in the ass.
Tried a 16 on and they were too baggy at the bottom of the pants leg.
Tried a size 16 SHORT on and WALLA! I'm soooooooooooooo excited!!!!
Wear/wore size 18 Womens and these work their way down on my non existant waist. :0(
Granted these are elastic waisted, but I CAN WEAR A SIZE 16. :0)
Probably not in WalMart's clothing line, but WHO CARES....NOT I !
Who cares if I shrunk not only in length, but in a size too. I DON'T! I shit you not!
Today is going to be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng day going across the state of Florida to Boca.
Visited with hubby last night. Brought him a Wendy's plain burger with catsup and I ate his ziti and meat sauce and mixed veggies. Tasted fine to me. Sure ...I and my daughter Jill make a Killer sauce, but this meal has enough taste to make you want to quit after eating just the portion they dole onto your plate.
At home, I'd want seconds and maybe thirds. :0( :0)
Think I have it straightened out with hubby's meds. A call WILL be made to his doctor.
The Strawberry Festival begins today. Out tickets to see Lady Antebellum are for the 13th.
Hubby will miss it. sigh! Even if by some stroke of luck he is home this coming week, I don't think he would be strong enough to go. :0(
Have to get a Move On and go see him before I take off for the day.
Want to bring him UNDERWEAR and clean pajamas. He doesn't wear underwear unless he is going out , so I didn't give him any and they put pull up diapers on him. :0(
It makes him look more infirm than he is. sigh!

Yeppers, we do get shorter, as we age. But it's not a good thing. Something about compression of our back...???
