D D Less time than ever before

Hubby was discharged from the hospital ( don't get me started ) ( no wash up all day Sunday and still wearing the shit stained johnny he had on when I left at ten in the morning.)
When I came in to see him around 8:30 a.m. he was telling an aide he smelled like shit and needed to be run through a car wash. ;0)
By taking him from the hospital around 5ish last night over to a rest home Rehab place ....money was saved in transportation.
This place called The Springs looks very nice and clean.
Visited him an hour this morning before he was off for therapy and he was his old grouchy self. :0(
Know he wanted to come home for a day, but things don't work that way. sigh!
Was all over creation yesterday. DIL Deb's son and family left MA to live here in FL on Friday night at 10 and spent two nights in motels with their three kids, 5 dogs ( mother chihuahua and 4 puppies ) and their cat and what they could haul in an open trailer they pulled behind them.
Deb wanted to and DID by them some furniture, rented a truck at Home Depot to deliver it themselves and set the furniture up. Bought groceries and paper products so they would have toilet paper to wipe their ass on arrival and places to sit. They will be living in NorthPort fifteen minutes from the trailer and thirty minutes from their house in Sarasota.
We will be going over to see them today plus make another visit to hubby.
Brought him four sets of his comfortable pajamas that he practically lives in and we will wash them ourselves.
he didn't want me to leave his OLD electic $40 shaver for fear it would be STOLEN.   I LEFT IT! ;0)

Having less and less time for MOI.  What the HAY!!!!
Could be worst!  I shit you not!
Ohhhhhh....called home this morning to give Jill his new phone number.
She tells me that Randy decided to try and deepen the area where my fridge goes and knocked out the sheet rock and some framing. IT DID NOT HELP THE SITUATION!
Holy Shit!   I told her to tell him to buy sheet rock and get that mess fixed ASAP.
Hubby will definately have a STROKE if he sees that!

She also told me that she has been in pain for three days with her stomach.
The level of pain was off the charts yesterday.
Five times to the bathroom already by 9 this morning with loose bowels.
Sooooooooooooo I ask. You thinking of seeking out a specialist??? No was the answer I got from her.
I say....SUFFER!

That's All Folks!

  4. Lord, I hate that when people don't do the right thing and get sick.... and then complain about it. Hello??? I told you to have it checked, cleaned, seen, etc.

    Drives me bonkers.

  5. Oh, my dear friend, some vacation you have had. How long will hubby be staying there? Are you going to have to extend your trip? Please do take time for you. My mind is a little gone today after only 2 hours sleep and a day of work, so forgive me if you have already told us this, but have they checked Jill for ulcerative colitis. Her symptoms sound just like those of a woman I work with.

  6. Are YOU okay? You're like the bloody energiser bunny sometimes. ;)
Drinking grog will make Jill's stomach hurt and cause the runs but it could also be something more serious.

  7. Glad he's moved to another facility.

What's Jill waiting for? Till she has to be taken to the ER, admitted to hospital, leave Logan alone, and make you up and fly back home?

-grumble, grumble, grumble- "This isn't funny Magee", as the old saying goes. Pain means something is wrong. -sigh-

  8. Good lord. With service so bad as your hubby getting, nurses and workers shouldn't be surprised when you start going into their service areas and getting what he need yourself...

Every time my grandparents went to the hospital they were so freaked out about getting stuff stolen they'd put it somewhere and then not be able to find it...!

I hope your old grump starts to feel better and get back to his old independent grump self!
