Two mornings in a row ....up and to the hospital by 8 a.m. so we can catch hubby's doctors.
We have met two now. They both work ten day shifts , so we met the one doctor and a few days later it was a new doctor.
Hopefully hubby will be in a rehab facility by the time the first doctor begins his ten days again.
Today Deb chose a terrific rehab place ( she know them all and some leave much to be desired as far as nusring care goes. )
This place is the Creme of the Creme. :0)
It's on the gulf and my grand daughter Corinne's boyfriend Brian works there in Rehab. :0)
P.T. saw hubby yesterday and recommended In Care Rehab rather than At Home Rehab to get him back to where he was before he landed in the hospital.
We still haven't met his cardiologist or neurologist.
No reason for the numbness episodes has been found, BUT they did find a problem with his heart which justifies him being there this long.
His low heart rate was up to 111 yesterday. Too high. Today it's 71.
They have been tweeking his med's ...taking some away and adding some.
We left at 10 a.m. and will go back tonight.
He isn't too ill to g r o w l at me.....so I'll growl here. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Would probably have stayed a little longer, but when he growls at me, I see no reason to stay. sigh!
Took his first SHIT since he was admitted while we were there. Maybe that's what made him so grouchy!
His nurse listened to his lungs and did all his vitals while we were there. He has some fluid in his lungs she said and told him he needed to take deep breaths in.
Hell...he's always full of Hot Air and lets that OUT! :0) This will be new to him.. LOL
Deb just made reservations for some harbor cruise to see the dolfins at 2 today.
It's a few hours tour in the gulf of Mexico. Sounds good to me. I shit you not!
She bought a bunch of flowering plants yesterday. Four flats....and is planting them at the moment.
Lots of color. :0)
Other than a call from son Randy yesterday telling me he painted my kitchen and his future plans ...bathroom and cleaning my kitchen cabinets things sounded calm..
No complaints about Logan. :0)
He has gone to Jill ( Logan's mom ) with his complaints in the past, but feels she takes up for Logan.
Therefore he CALLS ME to complain wanting me to call Logan and talk to him. :0(
Going to go try to do something to help Deb out inside the house.
She had Sonny put central vacuuming in the house, but prefers using a broom on the ceramic tile and wood,
I'll use the broom too.
Corinne and L.J. are still sleeping.
Late to bed and late to rise. Just like some of mine were.
Will admit... IT PISSED ME OFF!!!
Their Master bedroom is many feet away from the family room. They seem unbothered by it.
Mine wasn't and I heard every sound my kids made. :0(
Thank you all for your kind words.
That's All Folks!
The ramblings of a mom of 9 by her KIDS that are STILL making her climb walls ,even as adults. Said I DO 3xs and I WANT OUT 2 xs. Have learned there is no such thing as a Rose Garden. My motto is Life Is Too Short To Be Miserable. When the bad outweighs the good it is time to shit can em. Laugh with me or at me, welcome to my world.
I AM WOMAN! Hear me ROAR! February 2012

glad you finally get some answers...enjoy your excursion to see the dolphins...we are buried beneath meters of snow lol, and more to come Monday :O
ReplyDeleteI am sure you are relieved to be getting some answers. Enjoy the dolphins. I think they are so cute.
ReplyDeleteMary
First, we got 12.5 inches of snow on Fri.
ReplyDeleteThere! I did my bit, to make you really glad to be down, where you can go "dolphin peeking". ,-)
This is certainly turning out to be an eventful vacation, for both you and hubby. And if he will have to be in rehab, that will cover the matter of you staying down in FL longer, this visit, maybe.
Gentle hugs...
What is central vaccuming? Hope hubby continues to improve.
ReplyDeleteDeep breathing and coughing, deep breathing and coughing! That's what hubby needs to do and often!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to always be in such control of yourself. You truly are an admirable woman.
