D D Day 51 and the HIGHS and lows

My yesterday was like a see saw.    Up and down, high and low. sigh!
Another mix of nasty weather of rain, sleet, snow. Just an inch of snow, but side roads have never been scraped down good, so navigating them was out of the question for moi.
Close to noon W.B. and Jill  had their coats on. You know me...I had to ask and though Jill was not forth coming on where they were headed, she did say that she would be back to pick Logan up from school after his after school activity at 2:40 p.m.
Somewhere around 1:30 I took the phone off the hook.  Decided to grab a nap and woke to the sound of them coming in the door with Logan.
Not long after they were in the door she began making W.B. and herself rum and cokes. sigh!
Didn't have enough CONVERSATION and drinks while they were gone???????
Oh yeah, I know....once started, it's hard to stop. :0(
Logan told her what he wanted for supper almost as soon as he was in the door. Peking Noodles and Crab Ragoon.    P.Noodles are spi.....ceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hot !   I shit you not!
I never looked at the clock to see what time they left for Chinese food, but they were gone a few hours if not damned close to it.  Logan made a few calls to them to see where his food was. :0)
Not that that moved them out of the place any faster. Know she drinks Pineapple Passions there and not having been there with them to know what the W.B. orders for a drink, I'll guess it's MaiTais.
Whatever they drank...the amount over the day long  made her lips THICK when she spoke. :0(
HIM...it made GOOFY!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh right.... He makes her laugh. That's one of the things she likes about him. DUH!

DIL Deb sent an email letting me know that she had called the Town Hall here and found out the date she married my son Terry. I hastily wrote 8-28 on the envelope of pictures of them that I have of their wedding.
Only had 1982 written on the envelope.  I'm BAD !
She went on to tell me that Marge Ryan up at the Town Hall said that she knew me and also was a good friend of her Aunt Nancy's ( Small World ) and she made a copy for her and I can pick it up at her house and bring it with me. She lives one street over and Tracie go stuck in a snowbank there the other day and Marge and a daughter helped her out.
When I renewed my drivers license a year ago March, no one at the Registry of Motor Vehicles asked me about my name changes, ie:, married, divorced, married again and divorced, married again.
States must be implementing changes to make identity theft harder.
Hope the changes don't effect me. Next time I want to renew my license Online.
You get one shot at doing this so I have read and I've been w a i t i n g . ;0)

When I included in my email back to her the question of how much luggage( SHIT ) can their car hold , her answer was the trunk was big, will bring rope to tie stuff on roof if need be and to think about leaving some stuff there for next years visit. :0)
I'm hoping any clothes I left there would be TOO LARGE when I came back. :0)
If I don't get serious about losing weight, they may be TOO  SMALL.  :0(
Bite my tongue...fingers!
Hubby's wheelchair takes up a considerable amount of trunk space. Three pieces of luggage, a dog carrier, a laptop carrier and hubby's personal carry on bag with his considerable med's and medical and  grooming needs is mind blowing.
I felt like the Last Rose Of Summer when I departed for FL the last time. Even with leaving two suitcases at the outside check-in thingie. Trying to keep up with the Air Porter or whatever they are called now as he winged his way through the airport with two carryons slung on my arms plum wore me out.
In laymans terms... My ass was draggin!  I shit you not!
Can I have some cheese with my WHINE plz.

You ask....Where are the highs??????

In that same email DIL Deb told me that we are going to The Strawberry Festival and they have the BEST Strawberry Shortcake EVER ...

We are going to the Florida State Fair and I think it is there that she said she has tickets for us to see Lady Antebellum.   yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
Hope she sings, I Need You Now. :0)

I might not want to come home. I shit you not!

DIL Kim IM'd me that her oldest daughter in Arkansas broke her ankle at work yesterday.
Was sheduled to have a tubal ligation this coming Tuesday.
We both are hoping this ankle thing doesn't interfere with her surgery.
Amy has had her three oldest taken from her by DSS . Oldest was 12 or 13 this past Dec.31st ( my oldest great grand ) and she had another baby that she and her ( gag me) husband brought into this world last year that they can't provide for.
If they were not living with her younger sister this baby wouldn't be taken care of and living in filth like the three others were.
Odd that the six month date for them to get out on their own is February 1st. and now this happens.
Not my problem.... Kim and son Jay's  heartache. sigh!

Low and behold...Tracie was in town last night. Had to take her brother Marty to the R.M.V. to ask when  he could get his drivers license back.
Was told to try back in two years and he is pissed.
Fourth DUI and he is pissed????
He's a large man and with his bushy beard and long pony tail hair he won't be hard to spot by the police in town if he gets behind the wheel of a vehicle.
The police in town all know him.  Alot of them are lifetime townies and so is he.
So she comes over to chat and mentioned she tried to call me earlier.
Told her I had the phone off the hook and why.  Packed her up the rest of the left over Pot Roast as she was reading the obits in our newspaper and let her know I was watching American Idol with hubby in thirty minutes. We bid adieu at 7:45. :0)
I had re-heated hubby pot roast for his supper and I had the left over Shrimp Cacciatore that I nuked.
Ate the WHOLE DAMN thing...a huge plate. :0( oh yeah, it was good.  sigh!

Son Randy had bought a 35 gallon fish tank and already he wants it GONE.
Jill set it up for him this past Monday and she says it's gorgeous.
He called asking if I wanted it.   ???????  He says he has enough to do to just care for his two cats and remembering to take his med's for his problems. .
Jill said she figures it Over Stimulates him. He is my child with all the DX's since he was two.
All the three Capital Letters used to DX someone with many issues. sigh!
Now where to put that fish tank????
Randy also has a ten finger discount issue and while I know he paid for some of this set up...like the 35/36 gallon tank, I know there are some things he pocketed. No proof...just my gut feeling.
I keep telling him to just enjoy what he has....he needs nothing more.
Jill said she has told him the same thing and re-iterated that she won't visit him in prison if there is a next time either.  Neither of us could bring ourselves to go visit him the last time he was incarserated.. Looks like Tough Love didn't help him or his memory has faded after better than ten years of being on the outside.
All I do is talk to deaf ears. He has such a good heart and is my biggest help. Always hugs me and plants a kiss on my cheek when he leaves the house.
For years I said that my dad would only be at peace when he pased away and I'm afraid my son though different issues will be the same.
They were and are their own worst enemies.
No med has really helped Randy... ohhh yeah...the strong RX's sleeping med has helped him to sleep, but his inner demons are still doing him wrong.  sigh!
Jill told him that the next time he gets an urge to buy some something like a snake or ferret to please call her so that she can try to talk him out of it.
He has only three swordfish in that tank as begin slowly to add fish was recommended by the sales person.

Another snow storm arriving tomorrow. 4 to 8 inches and it's going to be single digit temperatures.
Makes for added miserable conditions to commute about.
Made an appointmentt for Lady to get her Rabies vaccination at 3:30 today.
Weatherman on TV just said we have had 42 point something  inches of snow this season and usually we get 41inches all season long. OBOY! Going to be a longgggggggggggg Winter.

A hawk has been visiting our back yard. :0(  No words needed. sigh!
Today I went out with my camera and it flew off before I could snap a picture of it in my neighbors tree.
Camera shy???? ;0) Earlier I was clapping my hands and it must have been deaf. Made no move. grrrrrrrr!

Is it ten already????   Shame on moi! ;0)
I have made this decision.  It's time to go through all the clothes I piled onto my suitcase and liquidate some.
I shit you not!
The car tires will be spinning like they are stuck in snow when we try to move out of this driveway.
Wellllll.... maybe I'm shittin u here. ;0) A bit of an over statement.

That's All Folks!

  2. Another interesting day on the home front. I get so sad when I hear about Jill's drinking and it worries me that they drive under those conditions. You do need some time away, my friend.
