SNOW
ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the snow hasn't dampened my spirits.....I heard yesterday from son Randy that son Terry called him crying and upset. He quit his job!  In the end...quite possibly HIS SANITY will be worth it, but of course now he doesn't feel that way.
He's had this job working with fiber glass most of his adult years and  has a house to pay for. sigh!!!!!!!!!!

Remember when Jill didn't even want a gold fish bowl to care for ?????????????
Think that was the first of October when Logan brought home a goldfish from the Topsfield Fair.
How soon we forget!
LOGA HAS CLAIMED the one that son Randy gave to me yesterday ! LMAO

Thirty five gallons and thirty five trips to the sink Logan made to fill gallon jugs after eleven last night.
That's the hour the new table to hold it was put together by W.B. and Jill.
School was cancelled for today by 7 p.m. last night, so we couldn't use SCHOOL as an excuse to send him to bed. :0(
Midnight!  It was MIDNIGHT...get to bed !!!!!
He was online looking at what types of tropical fish there are and making a list of ones he wants.
There are 3 swordtails in this tank and I was trying to put the brakes on the amount he wants to add.
From Jill I heard....this size tank needs more than a dozen fish in it. Couldn't believe my ears.....I shit you not!
This morning hubby warned me nicely to keep my hands off of it....less I get stuck with the work. ;0)

I couldn't see the 3 swordtails in this today.Jill may have a point on how many fish need to go in this sized tank. :0(

Need to go out and clear some snow and throw down bird seed.
This weather isn't even....FOR THE BIRDS.
Wonder if we will see them when we come back home....will she put out seed.....????
Logan took our bedroom over a few years back when we went to FL for a month.
He is getting that gleeful look in his eye again. BIG BED , BIG TV.
Probably happy that no Nana to keep on his arse about getting his homework done too. sigh!

That's All Folks!

  1. We had a bit more snow today as well...just enough to make walking pretty treacherous. They have a new tank here for the clients and we had about 4 fish in it. A couple of the clients took one of the water jugs and made it into a donation jug for more fish, fish food, etc. and it has become quite important to them. All of our clients are on limited income so for them to collect $15 meant something. They bought 5 little fish, the prettiest little things...black and gold but real tiny. Sadly, they were either too small for the pump or it was put in wrong because it sucked in 4 of them, killing them. I felt so bad.

  3. we have the same snow system, still coming down here too. Tell Logan to make sure the fish he gets are compatible with the swordfish, there are compatibility charts online. I have Cichlids and they can be aggressive so i have big tanks with not to many fish. Very pretty tank BTW

  4. Hope you have more luck with fish than we have over the years. Until we stuck some in an old laundry tub outside and can't kill the buggers with a stick.

  5. no birds? Good thing, they'd sneek in and eat the fish...if the ferrets don't think they are fun new toys to play with first.

Are you SURE this isn't going to be your next job, lol.

But that tank sure looks beautiful. Do you think your husband will enjoy it?
