It's clearing up and I've been gearing up to clean my stove top.

I keep thinking that I have a Fairy Godmother and will find my stove cleaned for me.

Ain't happened yet so why do I still have that notion in my head. ???/

Jill and a friend of hers...Robbie worked for 6 hours in the yard yesterday and put up 30 bags of leaves.

There are still parts of the front yard needing leaf cleaning and all of the back yard.

She took him out to dinner last evening to show her appreciation  and the whine bucket tagged along too sometime around 5:30 p.m.

They were back when I got home at 8 and an hour later Butch had a Chinese plate of food delivered for himself.

Haven't asked yet if he ate at The 99's with them too. 

So strange that they were in for the night so early........hmmmm

So who calls to say he is bringing us a gift, but Robbie.

He carried this for more than a half mile. When I mentioned how heavy it was to him he said, " yeah like a baby." I said, " more like a toddler."

My picture doesn't do it justice. It was quite long and HEAVY.

I can't judge how old Robbie is. Maybe between 30 and 40. He has a mental condition and in some ways seem like a kid still.

He worked his butt off and....he thanks us?

Hubby knew his mother years ago and has said that she use to beat the shit out of him with brooms and anything else she could get her hands on.

He still lives at home and gets social security and food stamps.

Jill says she doesn't hit him now.

Our secret til hubby ever decides to walk to that shed out front.

This will give him a reason to HOLLER AT MOI!

I had Robbie and Jill cut a hole in the front side yard shed door for the feral cats to get in and out this winter. :0)

Charlie has taken up residence in the back yard shed again.

Caught him sleeping on the nice bed I made for him yesterday around 3 p.m.

This shed he can get inside by going underneath it and up through the pool pump opening.

Needless to say...the mice will not be seeking shelter in there this year again.

Do I feel sorry for them...yes. BUT not that sorry after cleaning that shed out after I let them set up housekeeping 2 years back.  Mouse turds galore! :0(

Tracie did go to Maine by bus and came home yesterday afternoon.

It's a 4 hour bus trip. 

I had no sooner made myself grilled cheese on bread that was only good for toasting and eaten when she came.

Both of us were bummed out that I had already eaten and when she asked if I wanted to get a dessert when she ate her meal at Good Tymes, I lit up like a lightbulb.

Yeah.....I know I didn't need it! Hubby told me the same thing. :0(

Last week I had seen someone with strawberry shortcake on their plate.............

 Couldn't resist!   I shit you not!

Butch takes his Captains test this Saturday.

Bought his last book to study today. $89 bucks.

Wish him well...even though there is no Captain opening now. Maybe he will get a higher pay....not sure.

Jill asked me today if I had given any thought to where we are seating all the people on Thanksgiving.

Told her that's ALL I have thought about and have NO IDEA.

The two of us are getting burned out on being the only ones to host Thanksgiving dinner. :0(

First off...Robbie is 43. He has older and younger siblings still living at home.

Jill's decription of the family after meeting them for 15 minutes was...they all are not the brightest lightbulb on the tree.

Jill told Butch they were all done last week and he keeps showing up like she never spoke to him about it she tells him.

Four days ago he had $500 from his renter, plus $170 which is his entire paycheck and today he has $22 on on him. Plus he told his daughter Alex he would pick her up from school today.

Which meant a trip to East Bum Fuck in NH.

He is back with Alex now, but before he came back

OOPS  .... he and Alex have left.

Here is the skinny....................

She told him four days ago she was DONE with  him. Then he comes in the next day like nothing had been said.

She had told him she was tired of his shit . Always being broke, always smoking her cigarettes, always wanting her to use her car because it was cheaper on gas than his truck.

 He told her he would put gas in it yesterday and he didn't.

Yesterday when he called her from where he was helping a friend do a said job and heard she was going with Robbie to grab a bite he whined  that he was hungry too. Wait for me. I'll be done here in an hour. I'm starving too .  This was 3:30 and he showed here at 5:30. (Had to go home and shower. )

The Ninety Nine's is offering alot of meals for $9.99.

Robbie chose a shrimp plate, Jill chose a steak tip plate off the $9.99 menu and Butch........well Butch had to order off the big menu. After he ate a bowl of popcorn, cheese and cracker bowl...he ate a quarter head of lettuce with all kinds of veggies and  a Make It Yourself steak frahita meal that comes with plenty of meat, etc and 5 shells.

This was what???? 6 ish  Then at 8 he was starving again and whining to her that he wanted his brocolli and beef dinner from a small Chinese place across from the Moose Hall and had it delivered.

So let's get this right. Jill handed him $25 to help pay the bill which was more than the meal and coke that Robbie ate and some of if not most of her meal. Robbie left 4 shrimp on his plate, she ate 2 steak tips because as she said that by the time she got to eat she was no longer hungry and she took the leftover home.

I stuffed the 4 shrimp down my fat face earlier today.

Butch paid no bills...... cell phone is shut off and Alex's mother was trying to confirm that he was picking Alex up. She called Jill's cell and Jill didn't pick it up.

Butch never called Janet to tell her of this arrangement. Alex asked him to pick her up and he told her he would when he drove her to school Monday.   tsk tsk tsk

So after school today was Butch as well as Janet waiting to make sure he came for her.

He made sure to say in front of Alex to Jill that Alex ran to him...not her mother. Juvenile asshole that he is.

While he was gone Jill ran out and bought Logan Chinese food.

So I'm thinking "what the efff".  She bought $165 worth of groceries with the money I handed her and we get no supper.

She says she purposely didn't start supper so he could free load again tonight.

When he went to the grocery store he was looking at all the meats and wanted her to buy some expensive steaks. She didn't. :0)

He was no sooner back around 4 with Alex when I heard him doing alot of sighing and saying lordy,lordy,lordy as I passed him once. "Tell me about it," I replied. :0)

Five minutes later Alex is saying that she wanted to go.

Jill was helping Logan with his homework, then she picked up his backpack to stitch up and with that and no signs of a meal being cooked, he said "I'm fucked".  " Come on Alex...we are not wanted here".

Jill said " who said that?'' Out the door they went.

He WILL be back after he drives her back to east Bum Fuck in the morning after 9 a.m.

Traffic is horrendous coming and going there.

Of course I had to ask her where all his money went.

Took Alex out to eat Sunday at such and such restaurant. Bill $28 ...

Of course there is that $89 book.

Jill says he sure as hell didn't spend any money on her in the last four days, not even a pack of cigarettes.

Four days....700 bucks gone through, no bills paid and a book to show for it.

Ohhhhh...... he definately will be back. :0(

So now Jill is fixing us steak tips and some mashed potatoes and a vegetable.

I was hoping that Butch didn't out wait her and he didn't. yesssssssssssss!

We eat.!!!

Have I mentioned he has a gambling habit? HE DOES!

Logan got his report card yesterday.

A- in Math with Effort as Outstanding

2 other A's in ?  One of those moments. My head draws a blank and I'm just going to skirt past it instead of thinking what other subjects those could be. :0)

English B- with an Effort rank of 2 and notation that he is not turning in work in a untimely fashion and a B is Social Studies.

Could be better...could be worse.

Lately he hasn't been putting his nose to the grind without alot of nudging.  sigh!

Got 100 in a science test that Jill prepared him for by going over all the stuff he needed to learn seven times. Yesterday he went to his dads after he came home from school. First he had his mother cook for him. :0)

It seems dear old daddy went out and purchased alot of parts to fix the Go Cart up for him that once young Gil used. It's been out of commission a few years now.

Now THAT IS SO IMPORTANT!

NOT!

He is another juvenile asshole. This and the fort he built last Spring are just things that he knows draws Logan over there.

I'm not running out and doing the same thing. That's a GIVEN!

Another day has passed by all too quickly.

Thursday we go to the local Elks Hall for dinner.

A week from then the big day will be upon us.
