Dear Diary Shopping Trip... Green Tea few wedding pictures 9-19-99

Being in the passenger seat has many advantages.Never paid attention to the road, time seemed to fly by both to and  from.  Weather sucked, but not my spirits. Rained the entire 4 hours I was out...not heavy though.  Better than the snow storms we get most years this time of year. Even a May snowstorm is not that unusual. The early Spring is most welcome....Got plans to get out in the backyard today, get my fingers in dirt now that I have the majority of leaves raked up from an earlier adventure out back. First on my agenda will be to pick up the dog poop. Stepping in dog poop not my favorite thing to do.
Bought things I could not live without at The Christmas Tree Shop...have a houseful of that kind of stuff. Some of it I could have lived without. I shit you not! New gazing ball , I needed that. Fake rock for the pond area that has a solar light, could live without.. Will look pretty at night....it's a keeper. Have many of the regular type. New chimes... storing those away for when my other chime falls apart... price was right.
A keeper.... Mother's Day card, birthday card for my only living aunt ( seems odd writing that word..living.. cause I wouldn't be sending her a card if she wasn't. )...Will be 90 in July. Aunt Florence was the 4th and last born to my mother's mom. Four sisters are now just one. Lives in senior housing ...looks great...always was a sweetheart.  Moi is the oldest of the neices/nephews. Getting scarey.  I shit you not!
Potting soil..bought that in WalMart.. getting ahead of myself.. As we entered The C.T.S. for short, there was a pallet of potting soil in the entry way. Big machine printed sign read: POTTING SOIL $29.95.
Same sized bag I had just purchased in WalMart for $4.   Miracle Grow.  Sales woman was standing near so I asks, " please tell me that sign isn't for real. " She looks to where I point , pulls out her phone and pages someone ... says to me, " I wonder if you are the only one that noticed that sign. " Told her the reason I did was because of my purchase just before.. told her what I paid.
D in law #1 Kim, checked inside the entrance as we were leaving ..( $2.95 ) No name brand... I feel better..LOL
No excuse now not to get some tomato plants started in pots. Going to try some of the seedless ( Lord knows what's in that package to put in the soil ) embryo's???? If I remember, will keep you posted on how those did...also will bust that myth that they are seedless more than likely.
Found everything I wanted at WalMart, except door panel curtains. You know the type with rod pockets on both ends. It's  where moi purchased them in the past. Always a fly in the ointment!
Saving the best for last... new camera, for MOI... Last camera I knew how to operate was an Instamatic.. Took a roll of film. Few years back bought a fancy dancy Canon... thoroughly confused me...Jill uses it. Even Logan is a pro at it.... darn 11 year olds are too smart for their britches!!. LOL
Asked the salesperson what was the easiest to operate. Kodak... $80 ... SOLD.. plus that ?? you insert somewhere. Just handed it off to kid#7 to put together. Moi is going to take pics to post... you lucky people, ha..ha..ha.. maybe lucky is the correct word cause my intentions are good, BUT the brain cells left to retain info are few and far between.   I shit you not!
Kim was laid off after 20 years. Kim is 54, I THINK... Hard enough to remember the kids and grands.. Haven't tried to remember the greats birth dates... 2 years ago she got a Grandfather's clock as her 20 year gift, last year they gave her THE BOOT.. Took a student loan out to go back to school to learn billing for doctors. Graduated, interned ....    l O'O'king  for employment. Times are hard for so many, not just those that bought above their means.   Being a senior citizen does have some advantages...a FEW!
Just heard hubby telling Jill's ex beau that you can chew the V.A.'s coffee. Verbal descriptions sometimes get to the point...ha,ha. Ex beau hasn't got the message yet. Doesn't understand " we are done! "
Keeps coming around to hear more of the same...will be pointed to the door again.
Don't know if I mentioned that hubby watches Dr.Oz.. heard green tea was good for you since home from hospital.  Some months ago, moi picked up some with a peach flavor for MOI! In case i'm repeating myself, I'll just say hubby likes everything the regular flavor. Got some regular yesterday...Jill  boiled him the water and brought it to him.... both kinds. Just gave up waiting for him to let it cool down and try it, so I did. Liked the peach flavor, not so much the regular.
Ex beau just found the door again.
Of course she was long gone by the time I got home yesterday at 3.  Came in at 10 still able to walk, Would have got a DUI if she was stopped though.
Today is a new day... feeling upbeat as I think of getting out in the yard and maybe trying out the camera, so I won't go down yesterdays path with her.
Was just offered the peach flavored tea...lukewarm... Mikey likes the regular flavor!  Can't see how anyone can drink the shit I'm drinking, he says..... next time I'll try raspberry flavored green tea.
Prefer my Tab this time of day once my hazelnut coffee is gone..only make 2 cups ... 2 cups regular for hubby, 2 cups flavored coffee for me.
Any one else drink Tab ????  Have for many moons....like, how did I ever gain weight????

Just remembered what amazed me yesterday... This new technology! A picture frame that you insert your thingie into...pictures you have taken keep changing in the picture frame,,,amazing, friggin amazing!
 You can tell I have been in the house a long time, can't you????? 
Third or fourth piss call for the dogs since they have been up. The lure of clear weather in the 50's ( just right to not get hot n sweaty ) is beckononing to me. Going to throw some old duds on... getting Down n Dirty.
