Nothing holds my interest for any length of time. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I can't seem to focus on any one thing long enough to feel a sense of accomplishment. To be perfecttly honest...i can't seem to get out of my own way. Oh dear....what can the matter be, (x's 3 )Johnny's too late at the fair. If you are old enough to know that song...that may EXPLAIN IT! ;0)
I no sooner posted and Jill and Butchie came through the door with a flounder sandwich for us. Hubby didn't feel like eating. Another evening of him saying he doesn't feel well and he can't put his finger on it.
McArthur said, "War is Hell". I say getting old is Hell. I shit you not!
Michelle came at six and around 6;30 Tracie and I took off for Kohl's.
No returns :0) just purchasesssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Bought Shayla a glorgeous black winter jacket . Brand name, Zero Exposute. Marked down half price to $80 some odd and on top of that I got another 20% off. Soft, soft, soft , mittens hat and scarf in white. The cutest of skirts in a knitted material and a top to go with it. Cost almost as much as the jacket.:0( Forgot the tights until I was at the register. Oh well....twenty four days left to shop. :0)
Bought my grandson Danny an dark olive green with a black inside half off jacket in the same price range as Shayla's. Gloves, hat in black and black size 10 1/2 good name brand sneakers. Hopefully these won't crack and split on the soles when he is standing washing dishes where his step dad Dana cooks. Danny is closing in on age THIRTY, But ONE would never know it if they talked to him. He's did drugs and drank since an early age and they did their damage. . sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I can't see him ever being out on his own. Not in my lifetime anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
It's a BIG STEP forward that Dana got him to work...at all.
When I worked I use to shop weekly for my kids and grands. Mostly clothing. Since I retired that wasn't in the budget, but now that can afford to again.....I'm enjoying myself. Whatever I purchase will be from their parents at Christmas ( their money can go on the heat and rent and FOOD and I will hand them their usual card with a few dollars extra than it use to contain. Talked with Cher yesterday and asked her what Trevor wants. A computer. Would a laptop be better for an eleven year old ??? He is autistic and I'm wondering what kind of PC would be better and easier for him. The winter coat I got him last year still fits. :0) She doesn't know about these coats and things I bought yet. She didn't ask for them. Shayla will be seventeen in February.
Some of my grown kids can still use help and IF I am able to continue to help, I will. While seeing INTEREST on my bank account does make me feel good,,,giving makes me feel better. BESIDESSSSSSSSSSSSS why not spend my $ and get the enjoyment NOW .
Sadly ...my dad's way of helping me out when our kids were little with food stuffs ( while greatly appreciated by myself and my siblings) was to spoil it by always reminding us what he gave us. Drink in him....and he had to ruin it by reminding us.
The news today from young Gil to his mom was heartbreaking. He was bawling his eyes out all day yesterday when he heard from a friend that his friend Victor was on life support. Last night the plug was pulled and he died within minutes. Twenty one efffin years old. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Over dosed on heroin.
THAT was what he and my grandson did back when my Jill tried calling him and heard him sound in a BAD WAY and rushed to his dad's house some ten miles away, brought him here and KNEW he needed more help than she could give him and called 911. That was the first time he and Victor tried heroin. Was that just 5 months back??? Maybe even 4 months and here he is DEAD. This young man has sat at my table to eat more than once in the past few years. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh
He died ONE death and those that loved him will die a thousand times over.
Gil feels like he is to blame no matter how much Jill tells him he isn't.
When was the last time you read about someone robbing a bank to support their POT habit or someone over dosing on pot?
The government needs to STOP these senseless deaths and concentrate on the drugs that KILL PEOPLE . Fuck the POT.
Some Fat Cat (more than one ) is making money off this and doesn't give a rat's ass about our kids and grands.
Jill told Logan that Victor had died and how. He said ...that's why you and dad were watching Gilby and keeping him in your sight. I knew something was wrong. To that he added...Gilby made the wrong choices in friends. WOW! He won't be 13 til March 15th. Butchie said that Logan get's educated in school about drugs. I'm all for it and hope the message reaches alot of our youth.
Jill and I were talking as I was making hubby's cereal and back when Gil and Victor first tried heroin , Gil got sicker than Victor did on the bad heroin. Two months ago Victor overdosed and was in a bad way on bad heroin and this time....he DIED. I heard that Victor's dad let him sell drugs out of the house.....but no one forced either one to try heroin and if his parent's didn't step up to the plate :0( .....it's still all about CHOICES at that age.
Through Victor's death I hope another person will GET THE MESSAGE that DRUGS KILL! I shit you not!
The bedroom and siding work is coming along s l o w l y. John doing inside work and Randy working on the siding. One day soon they need to put the rubber roof on CORRECTLY. I have purchased the stuff to redo the job. Last MUD work on the walls today, then sanding, then primer. then paint. Then flooring and baseboard. . Then lighting fixtures up and shelving units put in the closets. Did I miss something here ??? Tri- fold doors on the closet or was that bi-fold?
I was FULL when I left the house and at 9 p.m. Tracie didn't have to twist my arm to go into the Chinese buffet with her after we did our shopping. All I intended to have was a hot cup of coffee, but at that hour Good Tymes closes and she wanted the buffet. I could have had a diet coke. It's all about CHOICES and when my clothes get TIGHT .....MY FAULT. I shit you not!
It's 9:30 am. Let me do some piddling around and I'll be back.
Piddling around was a good choice of words. Warning, WARNING....Never hire me!
It's 12:15 and I've been fighting a nap for the past half hour. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Read that Cilitopram causes excessive yawning and also makes you tired. That's MY EXCUSE and I'm STICKING TO IT! :0)
What I DIDN'T DO is fight the urge to bite into the Entermans chocolate frosted donuts my son Randy brought along with him today. sighhhhhhhhhhh
Jill is dressing for a wake. I found some good buys at $10 and $15 dollars on some dresses for her. She looks like a million bucks in these. Will take a pic before she leaves today, Just can't promise when I will post them. Where the Hell the latest pictures I have downloaded are in this friggin laptop is beyond moi.
I get frustrated looking for them and give up. It's that orrrr flip out. I shit you not!
I can buy moocho clothes for Jill, only a little bit for Cheryl's style of dressing and ZILCH for Michelle.
She is so petite and would look great if she would only change the style she wears in clothing and cut her hair and get it styled .Her husband Joe likes her hair long and it makes her face too long and tired looking. Cher likes bright , flashy revealing clothing and Jill likes conservative " with CLASS "
This cowl neck dress made of a soft material ( belted ) hugs Jill's form and was marked down to $15. A pair of black thin tights under it and the outfit looks so smart on her.
I get my kicks out of finding some great deals on trendy, fashionable clothing.
Since she has been off the rum and coke,,,,she has her figure back. :0) All three of my girls look in gr8 shape .....a few of my sons have that BIG BELLY look. In my household it's been pretty much me that has been up and down in weight. Hubby stays pretty much the same ...size L or M and is now down to 155 pounds. !76 at the beginning of the year, in the 160's in August and now 155 last hospitalization weight last month. PISSES ME OFF! I stepped on the scale the other day. :0( 173 ...and this week I'd wager that I gained more.
Which brings us back to CHOICES.
6:30 p.m.
Woke at 5. It wa dark. How did that happen? I'd say these things I'm calling naps are a wee might more than that. ;0)
Nodded off around 1:45. For some people , that's a nights sleep.
Did a little more ....very little more and made hubby pancakes. He wanted those for a change.
Eazee peazee :0).
I boiled soup mac and had it with salt and butter. YUM!
Tracie came at 8. Went to the neighbor Rudy;s wake and back to the house, Then came here.
Jill went to her son Ryan; friend Jodi's wake. She's in for the night.:0) Is working Saturday . Wedding for 150. Hope she is strong enough. Butchie took Logan to his house to help him bring down boxes from the third floor to the first floor. Twelve year olds have more energy to burn. :0) In three more days he should be completely moved out. MUST BE OUT to get $2000 back from the bank.
He'll piss through that in no time flat. Money burns a hole in his pocket.
Hope Tracie will be heading for her own place soon. She can be a PITA . She is also a LOYAL,CARING person, but you all knew that. ;0) I just need to define to her that I need some space.
That's All Folks!
