Low & behold, with the help of a good blogger friend, I was able to find my way back here. Thank you Mary. Hopefully, I won't get myself lost like that again.
My biggest problem now is finding the extra time to write in my blog. What I use to be able to do six years ago, has limitations now. My bones moan & groan. Old age is catching up with me.
Lost my second born, my son Larry June,29th 1917. While life goes on for those of us that loved & lost him, it's not been the same.
Noticed that blogger will only let me go back 100 posts. Need to find out why.
If anyone needs to get in touch with me, grapenana32137@yahoo.com will get you to me.
Need to read back from where Ed entered my life & bring you up to date.

Dear Diary , it's me again.
Thought I'd share a few pictures of my weekend. Took some before the sky opened up 2 hours into the party. Took some videos too, but have no idea how to download them from my IPad.
Amazingly I did figure out how to get these pictures over here.
Fellow camper is a DJ & he put a tux on and did himself proud!
The sky lit up & it poured for hours. We escaped to our trailer a few sites away and unbeknownst to us, many of the other guests left, went to their trailer & changed into bathing suits and partied in the
rain until 3
Jake took pictures of each couple in front of that backdrop he is standing in front of and is going to frame them and give them to us.

Dear Diary I'm living the beautiful life.
Life's been pretty good to me.
Oh the usual "needs from some of my kids", but this I can deal with.
Daughter Jill has been sober since April 21st.
Young Gil hasn't used heroin going on 2 years this coming December. He is working many hours, bought himself a new car & is now paying for the Vivitrol shots monthly that is keeping him heroin free.
Ed and I celebrated 3 years of being together on August 12th.
Right now I should be showering & getting the final items into the motorhome for our weekend in Rutland. One of the campers is holding a prom there for us oldies Saturday night.
We have been traveling to different campgrounds this year. ME, Vermont & MA.
Our pup Mia loves to ride and loves everyone, even little kids. She steals the show where ever we go.
Like I said, life is pretty damn good!

Dear Diary, Not many calls at 1:05 a.m. are about good news and
mine wasn't.
Daughter Jill was taken from home by ambulance last night.
For at least 3 years her B/P has been high and uncontrolled with meds.
This time it plummeted to 76/44.
Long story short ( I haven't been able to sleep since that call), the hospital brought her B/P back up.
They wanted to keep her, but couldn't promise her that she would have her stress test before Christmas. She was discharged at 4:30 a.m. against their wishes and promised she will get a written order from her primary and have a stress test done next week.
Her reason for not staying in the hospital was wanting to see her grandson Christmas Day and give him his gift.
Daughter Michelle picked her up and stayed the night with her. Big help to me. :0)
She also was recently hospitalized. Was severely dehydrated from a long bout of diarrhea and she too left before the recommended stay. Once again she is having bowel problems. KIDS!
It's nearing 6:30 p.m. Trying to hold out until 8:30 or 9.
Tomorrow morning we are invited to Ed's youngest daughter Sandy's and her husband Kevin's for breakfast and exchange of gifts. I think she'll like hers from me. Can't locate the picture :0( .
Picture this in sage green and a different last name if you can. :0)
His daughter Debbie got this one delivered today and called to thank me. I think I posted this before.
Can't remember if I posted this sweater I made for Mia. It's a deep purple, but looks blue in the picture. CRS Syndrome. Could look back in my posts of late, but there's that ambition again. ;0)
Still working on the teddy bear afghan for Ed's grand daughter Jillian's expected baby in March.
Some weeks I'm full of ambition and others I'm not. Since returning from Florida, I haven't got any. Then too, my right knee acts up with too much sitting or too much standing. Can't win for losing.
It's Christmas Eve. This date was my anniversary. We married in the afternoon and that night he was Santa to many of our friends kids. We (ME) drove with the windows down, no heat on as he roasted in his suit and the padding and he couldn't fit behind the wheel. Then I slipped and slid up and down driveways and occasionally fell. This is how I spent my anniversary for many years. Have to admit, once I thawed out, it was fun.
He was Santa for our grands, the chiropractor I worked for, the multi handicapped children that I worked with before that, The Elks seniors and children's parties, in the town hall for the town children , in the VFW for their children's Christmas parties, he rode on the fire truck though town, and many more places.
He always had a desire to play Santa and one Christmas I bought him the suit, etc. for his Christmas gift. In later years he bought himself a much nicer one. It's still in his closet. Had thoughts of burying him in it, but of course my good senses prevailed and no kids were harmed. ;0)
Not only did he do the Santa thing, but he made himself up a clown outfit and volunteered for the Jimmy Fund, Toys For Tots and other charities.
Twenty some odd years back that doctor that wasn't a doctor robbed him of all this.

Dear Diary, Another of my passions.
Thirty plus years .Sometimes 3 wedding cakes on a weekend. It was run, run, run. Then work on Monday.
The top cake I made for daughter Michelle and this bottom heart was part of daughter Jill's wedding cake. It looked like the cake above it. Just different colors and topper.
Some day I should take a picture of every picture I took of cakes I made.
Some day.
Still have all my stuff. Three fountains. Even the stuff to make the bride and groom ornaments.
Last one I made was for grandson Ryan and his wife 4 years ago September.
Seems I've run out of steam. ISYN!
Speaking of running out of steam, I must get to working on the latest Teddy Bear afghan or I won't have a baby shower present for Ed's grand daughter.
(((hugs)))
That's all folks!

Dear Diary, Daughter Jill found these in my attic. Look what I was doing some twenty odd years ago. Making, not playing with. ;0)
\
The train has a snap and comes off.
Slips to hold the gowns out.
veils
The hair pins match 3 of the gowns. Purses and clutches
When 3 of my grand daughters were small, I bought Barbie wardrobes and filled them with ball gowns, wedding gowns, prom gowns, caplets, capes, coats, dresses, sun dresses, sun suits, pj's, robes, bikini's, underwear, purses, etc. The creative juices kept flowing and flowing.
One didn't play with Barbie's and gave hers back. These and other things I made have been in the attic all these years.
Wish I had taken pictures of all, the American Doll clothes, baby doll clothes, Cabbage patch doll clothes that I made for grand daughters back then.
Really loved making these. In my own little way, I was reliving my youth. Would have loved these and a Barbie, but Barbie came after my time. :0(
Must put out the word to my kids. If I am ever living in my second childhood, give me these to play with. :0)
Found her in Arcadia, FL for $20 (Never opened) at a Flea Market and her red outfit caught my eye. Love red. She has her place on my bureau. :0)
One is never too old for dolls! I shit you not!
