Alaska is beautiful! Took many pictures, but they don't do the state justice.
My only wish was to see my best girlfriend again after 20 years and I was rewarded that wish. :0)
Ed and I went on a senior trip to the Newport Playhouse in RI and had such a great time. The buffet was enormous and tasty. The play was funny and the cabaret show after the play was delightful.
We both look forward to returning there.

Not happy about the weight I have gained over this past year, BUT....... it's been ALL GOOD!:0)
Now I'm paying the PIPER and buying larger sizes. :0(
Things at home still are worrisome. Jill's mental health, her high B/P are always of concern. She hasn't been to a bar since her son robbed daughter Michelle and SIL Joe's catering business, about 2 mo's ago. If she is drinking alone at home, I am unaware as I spend one night a week or less at home these days.
As for myself, I am in a good place in my life. :0) Ed and I pulled the motorhome out of the campground ( even though he put a deposit down for next season.)
Our campsite looks so forlorn this way. 
saw our resident blue heron as we were leaving. Just love the fall leaves reflecting on the water.
Thanks to a young girl at the campgrounds, I now know how to use my camera to bring things closer. . If only I knew how to use it when I saw the mama and baby moose just feet away in AK. :0(
Now it's been a rush to clean it out of food and things before we leave for TN to spend a few days at his daughter Debbie's and then go on to FL. We have tickets to see a comedy show on Oct. 30th. at Visani's in Port Charlotte, I think it is. We saw Dale Jones last year and enjoyed his style of comedy soooooooooo much that we want to repeat it.
So much to do before we leave. THAT, I'm not looking forward to. I shit you not!
I'll most likely be taking a hiatus from Blogger for awhile.
Was asked to make a baby afghan for a niece in FL's grand baby that is due in January. THIS I need to finish before we hit the FL state line so that I can leave it at my brothers in Jacksonville.
Shocking pink and black trim. Expecting moms don't do pastels anymore is my guess.
Will try my best to keep up with what's going on in your lives....cause I CARE!

It does my heart well to see you so happy. We seniors owe it to ourselves to live our lives to the fullest. That sure was a nice plate of food. Made me hungry. Wish someone would show me how to move things closer, but I don't know if you can do that with a camera phone. Took a photo of the harvest moon and it was nothing more than a tiny dot in the sky. Once again, keep smiling, my friend. You deserve it.
