Been ages since I woke with a headache. I think I've learned my lesson, but after today...all bets are off. ;0)
Ed had a doctor appointment for 9:30 ( yearly exam ) and he got a clean bill of health. :0)
We then visited the new Senior Center ( opened in October 2012 ). It puts my town's S.Center to shame. HUGE!!! The gymnasium is gorgoeus and has a walking lane around it. WE must put this to use. I shit you not! There is a gym with all the latest machines. A computer room with all kinds of computers and even IPads, free to use. Movie room, card roomsssssssss, pool table room, craft and exercise rooms, to name some. I called later to make a reservation for the two of us for lunch on Monday. Harvest soup, boneless chicken with supreme sauce, egg noodles, bread and peaches. YUM! $3 donation. The price IS RIGHT! :0)
From there we went to get my nails done. This enamel baked on nail polish is something else. :0) No chips. Only problem is the nails continue to grow out from the cuticles, but three weeks is GOOD between mainicures. That and the $10 price increase, but it's worth it. Had them painted Candy Apple Red this time. :0)
From there at Ed's suggestion, we went to The Villa to eat. Both of us had the fish and chips. HE always thanks me for going out to eat with him. HUH! I'd be crazy to refuse !
I've been procrastinating about going to see my Aunt Flo in a nursing home in Rochester,NH and Ed lit the fire under my butt by suggesting we go there tomorrow. Aunt Flo will be 93 on July 21st.
I tend to think that there will always be another day, even though I've been proved wrong. sigh!
Last time we were out shopping I bought her footsies (my feet are always cold in the winter and I wear them to bed ) and I thought hers might be and some good hand cream. The past few nights I crocheted her a bed jacket/shawl to throw over her shoulders. That done...it's time TO GO SEE HER! :0)
Now to watch American Idol that I taped last night just relax.

That senior center sounds like a fabulous place. Wish they had something like that around here. Thanks for reminding me that I should look into them. So much to take care of at retirement age. Of course, too, the city has been closing them down due to budget cuts so who knows what will be left. I am so happy to see you living your life. You have earned it.
