D D Update

Jill threw her son Gil out yesterday. She'd had ENOUGH of his lying and stealing to support his drug habit and said he was not going to kill her. Of course, afterwards she was sad and blue, but is determined.
He is sending her texts on how miserable he is, BUT not for long. He left his backpack somewhere and most of his clothing was stolen along with his phone charger. So...once his battery is dead....his line of communication will be too.

Butch came this morning acting like nothing happened or anything was wrong. I hope she was strong enough to send him packing.

Yesterday Ed and I took a long drive. Before we left he mowed the widow across the streets lawn. He has done it since her husband passed away. Today as we were about to walk around the block a few times, her daughter was visiting her and came across the street to thank him.
Yesterday he bought silk/plastic flowers and we put them on his wife's grave earlier this morning.
He's a real good guy.  He is also a planner and THINKER  and THIS may be why his mind isn't completely focused on SEX.  His mind is one that is always working. We can be kissing passionately and out he blurts, " I was thinking that maybe we should ( such and such. ) This morning at 5 a.m.as he was caressing me, it was, "Would you like to go to Twin Rivers today?" There is gambling there. I declined, saying another time. I've got to get this guy FOCUSED on just ONE THING. I shit you not!
He thanks and praises me for everything that I do. Even for small things like going for a ride with him.
Excuse me while I get up from my laptop and go over and hug and kiss him.He is sitting in the recliner next to me using his laptop.  BRB
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

His mission today was to buy some new dress loafers for our trip and he bought two pair in different colors. The shiny soles needed to be roughed up, so we walked the block here two times, each time with him wearing a different pair of shoes. We had lunch at BurgerKing and walking it off was a MUST. I am now down to my goal of 155. :0)  I can't thank my DIL Deb enough for steering me in the right direction....to Weight Watchers. One day SOON I will call her and tell her so.

The rest of today will be a kick back day and do much of nothing.Sorry if I sound....boring. ;0)
(((hugs)))

That's All folks!

  1. Wasn't able to comment until now. Hubby decided he was going to engrave letters in the keyboard with a searing hot nail. (He hasn't memorized where the letters are). Needless to say, he utterly destroyed it and I had to wait for a new one.

Glad to hear you are feeling better and enjoying life. We're not getting any younger and have to grab our chances when they come.

    1. Mary I can so relate to you with the key board, some of the things my husband does makes me wonder? I thought this post of yours was so funny because I've been there to many times. Have a great day, Pearl

  2. This is exactly how it is suppose to be, a man and a women being kind to each other, that's called respect! I am so joyful for you Pat you have no idea. I am so happy Jill is going to a therapist, and kicking out her son and hopefully Butch to. She is learning from your mistakes Mom and finally using your advice. Don' worry about her, it may take a few times but then she is right about that's the only way she will get well. Dam ain't life wonderful when it all works out! Glad to hear you so happy, Hugs, Pearl

  4. Pat is that is boring I want to be boring too! So glad things are going well.
Happy to hear about Jill taking a hard line with Gil although it must have been so hard for her to do that, but it was the right thing to do.
You must be setting her such a good example right now, your happiness is having a flow on effect and it's wonderful.
