D D At age seventy five

who woulda thunk it! Not I, for sure. Not in my wildest dreams...or yours! I shit you not!
Feel like a kid waiting for the time to pass and the phone to ring. I'm just that comfortable being around him. As I've said ( or have I?) I disclosed I had nine kids in my profile. In the back of my mind I wanted it to be a turn off to all but the brave and really interested in meeting me. He/Ed is calling at 9 a.m. so we can make plans. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Eating out today was one of them and I'm still full from eating out last night.
Emails are flowing between Ed and I. Why not the phone????? Beats the hell out of me. I think in my case I'm thinking he might have another woman with him and I don't want to rain on his parade. (Will tell him to wear rubber over-shoes ) if he is. ;0) I'm such a creature of habit, it ticks me off. Little bit of a fraidey cat in me too...as I lucked out meeting a nice guy. The next one might be able to fuck, but I might not be so lucky in other areas ( like personality). Slow and steady, I go.
Ladies....after I ate with my son and his wife at the Outback ( by the way they both were happy for me ) it was seven p.m. and I had time to shop. Took my happy ass over to Kohls and bought a sexy babydoll pj and matching robe in a soft, silky material. I'm thinking it will be much sexier than the brand new mens white undershirt he gave me to wear to bed. (My luggage was already in the motorhome and it was late when I made my decision on where I wanted to sleep ;0)  that first night.
So...whadda you think girls. Okay, I heard that. I am not out of my fucking tree...YET! ;0)
Hey...at our age you need props and lots of em. LMAO at myself.
SO...if you don't hear from me for a few days....you know where I am.
Sitting at a table playing cribbage. wink, wink.
(((hugs)))

That's All Folks!

  2. I love emails when I am really getting to know a person. It's hard to put into words why it works so well for me, but a meeting of minds without distractions and the ability to say EXACTLY what I want to say is important.

I wish happiness for you, in whatever form YOU need it.

  5. Hey... as long as your "props" don't include a riding crop... and if they do, that's none of my business. :) Enjoy!

  6. I think your new bedroom clothes are lovely! Be sure to use protection no matter what he says about the status of his other involvements. Men are notorious liars about their other activities. Also, there are things to be concerned about which he may have contracted long ago (HIV). Best to be careful, m'dear. Truly. But have fun, I know you will. Cribbage or otherwise.

  8. Oh Pat -- I haven't been reading anyone's blog posts in about a month -- and I cannot believe how much I've missed that's gone on in your life.

First of all -- my condolences on your loss of your husband. Watching a loved one die by inches is agonizing, and one of the worst parts is all the questioning you do afterwards about what you might have done differently. But the thing is, there are no good solutions or answers or actions in these situations - it's awful, and there's no way around that.

This post, and the ones before it about your new dating adventures, made me laugh out loud. I just spent way too much time when I should have been making dinner, reading you and catching up.

You're a brave gal, Pat. I hope you find a guy --- maybe several! --- who treats you like a queen. A sexy queen. Not Queen Elizabeth. :-)
Hugs, tears, and smiles to you, my friend.
    Cass

  10. I'm pretty sure that if I were you I'd be cherishing my freedom and staying as far away from men as I could but whatever floats your boat!!!
Good luck to you in your adventures as a single lady!! I have enjoyed these posts and you make me laugh! :)
