Hubby is on the mend. The Foley cath came out before I got there yesterday morning around ten a.m.
The IV was scheduled to be removed at midnight.
HE....Actually seemed and looked WELL yesterday. Talked Rat Trap a few times then.....and on the phone later. Saw the woman that put those piss soaked pads on his legs when he was there last ime. ( Now all I can think of is.....it was a chemical he smelled and possibly they did a nerve conduction study on his legs.) Otherwise.....it's BAT SHIT! He told me that if she had come into his room he would have raised holy hell. OH...and she stole his pills back then too. Oh...and she was also the one that put that multi-multi diamond bracelet on his wrist too. He told us this back then....and he still remembers it! WOW! This figment of his imagination has stayed around a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time.
So...bottom line...his body is healing, his mind NOT SO MUCH!
In a few hours...around ten, I will be going to the hospital with daughter Michelle ( from his first marriage ) cause it's Happy Fathers Day. ;0)
....I've been keeping myself busy. Don't ask me how, cause there is nothing to show for it here. I shit you not! Haven't turned the tv on since Thursday night. That streak will be broken IF hubby comes home Monday during the day, BUT definately at 8 p.m. when The Bachelorette is on. UNLESS I forget....which I am great at doing. sighhhhhhhhhh Yesterday, I had the dropsies. Was forever bending over to pick stuff up.
Was beginning to think that I liked it. sighhhhhhhhhh
Just discovered that my dogs have fleas......THAT's another project for me. :0( NEVER....a dull moment!
The only thing that hasn't changed is....hubby's side of the bed. It looks freshly made. ;0)

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little guy. I sure do know the feeling of those $20's floating around the dryer. I had it happen to me. Went shopping one day and had put over a hundred in $20's in my jeans which I forgot about. Later, when I got home and counted my money, I was sure I had lost some. You can imagine my joy when those twenties began floating around in the dryer. Usually I'd put my clothes in the dryer and head on home while they dried. Sure am glad I chose that day to hang out at the laundramat.
