D D Surprisingly

my son didn't drive me over the edge, but he did drive me here there and everywhere . ;0)
I never got out of his pickup ( wore sneakers and brought an umbrella just in case ).......and just window shopped in NEW/USED car lots.  Dang they make the space to drive between the rows of cars teeny tiny.
He says it's so you have to drive slow and maybe SEE something you like. Better it was him, than me. I would have probably swapped some paint.  ;0)
We visted Hondas and Toyotas and then we visited BMWs. I LIKE!  Oh I love those ( damn, having a CRS moment ), the cars with the cougar, panther, whatever the cat is emblem. 90K What's not to love. :0)
When I left hubby asked where I was going. To look at a new car to buy I told him. Which brought  him to question what was the matter with the car we have.  What car?  We gave it to Jill I told him, which brought the invetable "why?"  My response was simply....she needs it.  Followed by " what are we going to do, leave everything in the bank to our kids, because I'm NOT. I'm going to enjoy that money myself.
Wait til he hears BMW.............................    Four door sedan.....not a convertable ...I haven't lost my

Most Days ;0)  I DO!
I'm leaning towards the M3 sedan. There's a certain color Monaco Blue that is like the old Imperial Blue of Lincoln Continentals years ago. Like in the early 50's. That was one hellofa nice looking car.
No, I'm not off my rocker completely.

I'm JUST DAFFY!
I've definately got the fever. Looked at one owner pre-used BMW M3 sedans online awhile ago.

When we left the my driveway I told Randy right away....DO NOT drive as to scare me to death.  He didn't and we actually talked at a normal volume and sometimes we were rode silence. :0)
Did I mention that he drove me to my doctor appointment too ?  He did. I was IN and OUT. Second injection of cortizone and hopefully it ends ALL my right arm pain.   I could have lived without the second shot, but why should I.  Home by three.  Hubby was grouchy and told me that I was gone all day. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh   NO SUCH LUCK!
Tracie called me later and I made mention that I did not want to go out. Told her I'd see her today.  Every night with her planked in my bedroom is a bit much. I shit you not!
Granted that's the ONLY room we stay in......even when we do have a livingroom, but I need ALONE TIME.
The people from Legal Aide came to inspect her apartment so they would know what they were up against when they went to court with her.  They agreed with her apartment manager that she HAD ALOT OF CLUTTER.    Will be back next week to see if it looks any better.  Unbeknownst to them she filled her car to the ceiling the night before to make it look nice in her apartment and got to her storage unit just as it closed.  Asked me if she could put the stuff in my car for the night and when I asked and she told me they were coming at three , I suggested she could get to her storage unit before that time.  She agreed with me.  Did she just leave it in her car....who know and who cares.
The lovely Cash shit on my bedroom floor then puked in three places just before I retired for the night. I was never so happy as when Jill and I got it cleaned up and I climbed into bed. :0)
Woke this morning to ....what else, but MORE RAIN.  Today it's a steady hard rain and I swear I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of a loud wind gust, albeit brief. Everything is still standing. :0)
It sure is dreary out. Stayed in bed longer than usual and listened to the rain hit the skylight.  Relaxing!  No sooner got out of bed and made our coffee while hubby still slept and Butchie came.  He spent the night at his own place ( took his daughter Alex for the evening and bought pumpkins for her and Logan . He carved his daughters and Logan carved his own while Jill made an apple pie FROM SCRATCH. :0)
This is THE OLD JILL.

No sooner did he come through the front door ....the phone rang. It was my Cheryl. She is out of oil to heat her house. :0(  Told her to come and get some money. The kids are thrilled with their robes and slippers. PJ's haven't arrived yet. Danny is thrilled with his boots.
Their happy...I'm happy !
Hubby woke and right away was asking for his coffee.   Then it was the TV turned on. IT IS 9:30 a.m. , but I could have gone the entire day without turning the TV on. sighhhhhhhhhhhh
Is it just me that wants my environment  SERENE???

Visiting nurse just came and left.  It's now 10:30 a.m. Tick, tick, tick. The day is going by fast.
A load of laundry has been started. WOW! I'm a BIG DEAL. ;0)
Now I'm expecting my Randy to come through the door and say, "let's go car hunting again."
I'm in no mind frame to go out and in no hurry to buy a car. UNLESS I see THE CAR and I can't do that sitting here. UT OH! Speaking of Randy....bringggggggggggggg, ring. He stopped at the BMW place. An M# does not have the certain feature I want.  I want.... ...well I thought I wanted an alarm that warned me that someting was behind me when I backed up. Now I hear they have cameras that you look at when you back up, BUT ONLY IN more expensive BMW models.  :0(
Soooooooooooooooo Randy went to the Toyota dealer and they are included in a model I would like that isn't the TOP OF THE LINE.  Back to THE DRAWING BOARD!  Going to look online at colors of newer used Toyotas and new. Not that the color makes it drive any better.....I KNOW. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh   It's just that I have forever had a thing for that deep dark blue. The Continental I saw years back had a baby blue interior.  TO DIE FOR! ;0)
He just got back from getting his second cortizone injection in his spine.  Staying in today and doing his housework. :0)
Yes Virginia....there is a

Poor Bambi's :0(

After I get hubby's meds put into his pillbox for the week I am off to look at Toyotas ONLINE.
Hope I can get that image of a BMW out of my mind. I shit you not!

It's 40 degrees outside.  Can the snow be far behind?  I'm NOT READY!

That's All Folks!

  1. good luck with the car shopping...i love audit's :), but one thing you might want to consider before you buy a BMW ,what repairs would cost, some of those cars are expensive to fix (parts) at least here they are . I hope you find something you like though..i like blue cars myself
