How she saw them, I'll never know, but I am grateful she did.
One PROBLEMO!!! Keys were in Locked Car! :0(
I have AAA. Did I remember that? Hell NO!!!! My son Randy did. :0) He didn't want to scratch up my car using a coat hanger and reminded me that I had AAA. They came in less than a half hour. I thanked the young man for opening it for me. Wanted to grab him and KISS HIM. ;0)
Hubby has the RUNS......AND I mean THE RUNS! I shit you not!
I've cleaned shit and emptied the shit pail right up to now.
He hasn't bothered to even turn the TV on today. Very unusual...can't remember a day that he hasn't reached for the remote control upon awakening.
It's almost ten p.m. This time when I tried to help him he was swinging his arms and saying, "just get away from me." Moans and groans and when I ask him what's wrong, he tells me " nothing."
He just dozed off anddddddddddddd is sitting up on HIS BUTT. :0(
P.T. came today and worked with him a little. Kept telling him he needed to lie on his sides and shift positions frequently. It went in one ear and out the next. :0( She had him on his side and as soon as she left he went right back to lying on his back. That warning of not wanting to get horrific bed sores she gave him has gone unheeded. He has a bedsore that has scabbed over. He can't feel it he tells her, even when she presses that area. "Believe us, it's there", she told him.
Today he has been like he isn't even here ...like his mind is miles away. Worrisome.
Managed to get an hour of rest/sleep myself between one and 2 p.m. Was laying there looking out and saw a hummimgbird. Why do I always get so excited when I see a hummingbird? I DO! I DO!
Up I got and changed the nectar in it. It's been up a few days in that hot, humid weather and needed to be dumped and refilled.
Randy worked up until 6 p.m. today on the shed. It will look like a MIllion Bucks when he gets done with it! :0) He has caulked every seam and opening. His idea is to install an animal door instead of just making a cut out. Charlie is going to love his Winter Home this year. :0)
Tracie bought hamburger and buns for our supper tonight. I shaped them and cooked them on the G.Foreman. I did partake... :0( Delishous ! Hubby played with his and ate round and round the bun. Left a huge round center. Don't know what his problem was and I didn't ask. He would have probably given me his standard answer, " it tastes like shit. "
Listening to hubby snore quietly is making me want to join him in Dreamland. So...I WILL!
BB in the morning, Lord willing.
Friday July 15th
This is how hubby has been since I retired for night. NO change! BUT, he did yell at me to get off his arm just about 5 a.m. It was Ginger who had changed her sleeping position and stepped on his arm.
He insisted it was me, even though my back was to him. sigh! By then,,,I was wide awake. Well, maybe not WIDE, but awake none the less. :0( Time to un-kennel the other two dogs and put them out in the back yard . Cash wanted loving this morning and I could swear he made crying sounds as I petted him. Must miss my daughter who is his surrogate mother. You see where Ginger sleeps??? That's her pillow. MINE is the one below it. Much easier to give her a pillow than have her curled around my head. :0)
Now he is curled up in Ginger's bed at my feet...Snoring softly.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm HOT COFFEE!
I'm getting to drink my first morning cup without interruptions, BUT not without foreboding. Hubby has never gone the entire night without using the urinal or the porta potty. :0( When I realized that he was in the SAME POSITION as he was last night, I looked in both. NO URINE. Which means NO OUT-PUT! sigh! Which means...........NOT GOOD ! I shit you not! His voice was strong and he seems to be resting quite comfortably. A soft rythym to his light snoring. I used to listen to it before I could fall asleep at night for years. Call me CRAZY. His light snoring would help me to fall asleep. ;0) Now I'm getting to where I could fall asleep sitting up like he use to do. Three times I asked yesterday, " do you want the TV on?" last time he said, " do I have to have it on?"
When I climbed into bed last night I watched him sleep for quite awhile and then told him to remove his glasses ( which he did) , asked for a good night kiss, "okay", said he and like on cue, he began snorning like he had never been awake in the slightest. No kiss goodnight. Won't be the FIRST. In past years he wouldn't kiss me goodnight when he was pissed at me. My heart would be broken and I would cry for hours while he peacefully snored and would wake with ugly puffy eyes.
THEN there came a time when .....I CRIED NO MORE. :0( sigh!
I lay facing him most of the night on my right side. I have always slept better on my left side. Not that these days ANY POSITION is good. :0( Dang if those leg cramps weren't back early this morning. THEY sort of made my decision to get out of bed EASIER. I shit you not!
It's his pill time now. 6 a.m. I'm going to go pour a second cup of coffee for myself , drink some and then wake him up ( if only just to take his pills.)
It's another efffin NIGHTMARE. Shit his pullup before he could turn around to sit on the porta potty.
BRIGHT RED BLOOD. No urine. Just soupy shit and BLOOD. His stomach is killing him. Looks like another Foley Catherter is needed to get the urine he has retained out of him.
Taking a quick rinse and getting him to the hospital.
That's All Folks!!!!!!
It hurts me to hear of all this you are going through. Agreed that he should get to the hospital. Please let us know. Prayers are with you. (((Hugs))) my dear friend.
