D D Day 43 and where did all this efffin snow come from

It's the middle of the night

Snow is up over the doorstep.

Small area for the bird feeders to get filled and a place to chow down safe from a hawk.

More than a foot and still coming down. Not the light fluffy stuff. SNOWMAN BUILDING SNOW!

Did a double take at 1:45 p.m. yesterday as I walked to the sink and looked to my left.

W.B. was sitting on the side of her bed and they were talking.

Later when she was cooking a baked chicken and stuffing supper I asked her where he had been.

She made light of it and said he was either with his daughter or working.

Sounded phoney to me. I think she is being cautious about any problems the two of them might have.

Fine by moi. Less disturbances in our lives.

Tracie came to pick me up shortly afterwards and we did the Walmart run after she went to her regular gas station to explain her headlight problem.

I didn't realize it was her high beams that were the lights going out. Attendant thinks it's a fuse for the high beams going.

I invited her back to eat after she ran a few errands for her older sister.

Hubby wasn't thrilled about that , but he got over it.

He at first thought she just came over to get an invite to eat. WRONG!!!!

An hour after the meal was over I let her know that I was beat and wanted to rest and we together went to the front door and bid each other goodbye. :0)

Jill has most of the front areas where we park cleared. Logan went out to play in the snow and somehow got interested in what mom was doing with the snowblower and he is trying it out.

She is standing right beside him.

WAS!!!!

Well that didn't last long. By the time I grabbed my camera he decided the snow pile was more fun.

2:19 p.m. Jill is putting the new roof rake together to go out and remove snow from the roof edges before it freezes and we have ICE BUILDUP.

The snow is falling heavier again. No sooner go out and scrape up the new snowfall and it comes right back.to cover up the bird seed. :0(

DIL Kim IM'ed me earlier. She will be coming to visit with my son Jay next week to prove to him that he CAN GO OUT OF THE HOUSE.

Told her better yet, I would treat them to Chinese food to show him he CAN DINE OUT at the same time.  :0)

He has shaved his beard and she cut his long hair that he kept in a pony tail.

Looks years younger she said.  I BET! :0)

Must have the most energy he has had in a long time now that he hasn't had a cigarette and is on the oxygen.

The town is still having it's plowers out on the road.

W.B. ran in to use the bathroom and right back out.  Been plowing eleven hours now.

Then he has his regular customers driveways to plow once the town calls him off the road.

There must be a foot and a half out there.  UGH!!!!

I can hear Jill pulling snow off the roof with the roof rake. She has been out in this weather since I'm guessing 9 a.m.  Six hours now.

That should tell you how much snow has had to be removed from the cars, driveway and many other areas.

Yep....we definately got that predicted Nor"easter.

Wonder if the postman's creed will be followed today.

You know...through sleet, hail and snow we deliver your mail.

I think the mail delivery is the last thing on most peoples minds today.  I shit you not!
