D D Here she is Tadda!!!!

This is the doll my sister Nancy sculpted out of clay and made a mold of before she passed away from Cancer.
The sweater is the one I finished yesterday and it will be worn by my 11th great grand this winter.
She is due this month and she will be named Aliya, I have heard.
I suggested where their other daughter was named Ava that Ali would be a nice name.
Dianne has a thing with names and numbers that have meanings, so it looks like she changed Ali up to make it a GOOD name in her beliefs.
;0)  Fine with moi......have one other that DIL Kim chose for her second daughter.
Amber...........that would have been Jill's name if my mom didn't read that controversial book in her day.
Forever Amber.
I still haven't read that book, but I betcha it is a fairy tale compared to the books and movies we have today.  I shit you not!
Amber's middle name is Rose after DIL Kim's mother, who's name was Dorothy Rose.
I  added the tie when I did the single crochet row around the edge. It doesn't need it.

Not the greatest pic. The outfit is a 3 month size.

Under her red hair is the words my sis inscribed

PRECIOUS
a  Nancy Poore
Original Doll
Mondays Children
her signature
001
1987
in the heart it reads John 3:16
around the heart it reads:  1918 MS 1986
That was out mom's year of birth, her initials and the year she passed away.

My sis gave me the 1st doll she made.  Love you Nancy
Nancy passed away on our mom's birthday 1-15-92 at age 52.

Know that red heads are not suppose to wear pink, BUT on her it looks good. ;0)

A new half gallon of rum was purchased and sat for one hour before Jill and Butch made rum and cokes around 2 p.m  in preparation for the 5:30 pm. wedding of their friends son.
They had 2 drinks each before they left at 3:30 to go to the hotel where the parents of the groom were staying.  They were the designated drivers. :0(
It was a 6 mile drive to where the wedding was being held from the hotel..
Tom and DeeDee didn't want to drive loaded. Tom has already beat one drunk driving charge, so they were smart.
Heard this morning that his son ( the one getting married) almost had his dad Tom thrown out of the wedding as he was getting UGLY and LOUD.
No surprise there.........
Jill and Butch left at 3:30 to go meet them at their hotel and took the rum bottle and some cokes with them. sigh!Heard them come in at 1 a.m.

Young Gil came as they were leaving and picked up Logan, Erzi and Kenny for the night.
He is babysitting the neighbors kids Grant and Joshua whose parents usually watch Erzi.
They were going to a concert.
So Gil had 5 kids to watch and they were all excited about the BIG sleepover.
Better him than MOI !!! I shit you not!
Julie won't be back from MS until Thursday. Guess Grant and Joshua's mom will babysit Erzi until then.

My Terry

Terry came to visit today . :0)
Lives an hour and a half more or less away in New Hampshire.
His new home is on a lake with woods around him.
It will now also be the new home of Red the squirrel. sniff, sniff.
Has red squirrels in his yard and fills his bird feeder with nothing but the best bird food.
Sometimes fills it twice a day, he said.
It was the humane thing to do to release it. Before winter preferrably and hopefully it will survive off Terry's handouts and what Mother Nature provides.
No sooner did he get back to work after commiting himself to a hospital when he suffered an injury to his face and mouth. Was pushing with all his weight against something at work and the tool he was using to pry with let go and he went face first into something hard. Five stitches above his lip and one inside his mouth. One tooth is still bothering him.
That was taken care of by Workmens Compensation.
The next week someone standing 20 feet away was grinding something and a piece broke off and flew. Hit him on his eyelid. If his eye was open it would have got him in the eye. sigh!
Next..... he is using some kind of blower to blow metal particles off of something and it blew those particles into his eyes and he had to have that taken care of by a doctor. He reported it  as happening at home so his boss wouldn't blow his top and was seen under his own medical coverage.
Terry works with fiberglass and once forms of what they are making are pulled off, there is sanding to do, etc.
I hugged him hard when he left.
Terry turned 54 in May. My third born. He had a problem with drinking. Since his 3rd DUI four years ago, I have heard he isn't drinking any more. Thank you Lord.
Whether it's the knowledge that with your 4th DUI offense you can be sent to prison or he just smartened up.... I'll take it!  I shit you not!

Hubby just asked for Pedialite.  When he feels weak he asks for that. Hope in a few hours he will feel strong enough to go out to the Outback.
Meanwhile, I will clean out the squirrel's cage and store in in one of the sheds for the next critter that comes along. I'm sure there will be one as that's how it's been. I shit you not!
That's All Folks!
