Ed and I on Mothers Day.Well that and someone has been stealing minutes from my days since I retired at age 62, fifteen years ago.
Back then I could actually work a full time job, make wedding cakes (sometimes 3 for weekend delivery) and do housework and plant a vegetable garden and keep flower beds weed free, and, and, and.
Now.....I wonder just how I did it. I shit you not!
Ed and I have been doing the camping thing again.
The Season at the campground where he has his older motor home on a site runs from April 15th thru October 15th. It's about a 42 mile ride from his house and we usually go up there ( I say up there because it's a higher elevation) Friday thru Sunday.
Took this picture after Ed took the motor home off the site as we were leaving last October and the next one is of the pond next to our site. I was so happy to be able to see this sight. :0) I shit you not!
We didn't get up there this weekend.
Yesterday at Ed's suggestion we went to my Sis (Peg) and Bro (Dan) in laws (about 40 miles away) to visit a few hours.
Wanted to take them to lunch, but Dan don't go out any more. His health is just too bad. :0(
Peg is living the same life I did as a care taker and has been for some years.
Dan can't hold a conversation anymore, but all in all we enjoyed the visit and I know Peg did too.
Ed and I hit the sack early! Pooped out! I shit you not!
Today we went to my oldest grandchild's Larry's (62 miles away) for his daughter (my G grand's) birthday cookout. Got to see my ex DIL Karen :0) and had a very nice time. Ate too much! Gonna hate myself when I get on the scale tomorrow. I shit you not!
Larry will be 41 in June. Holy Shit, I'm old!
Sooooo old that again tonight I'm pretty sure we will be in the sack again early. That fresh air does that. That and fending off the black flies does that to you. ;0)
Grandson Gil has been living in a sober house, working 60 hours some weeks and hasn't use drugs for at least the last 100 days. :0)
Daughter Jill had her gall bladder out a few weeks back and is on the mend. :0)
I'm still enabling, but what else is new!
Oh, almost forgot. We went to one of Ed's grandson's wedding April 26th.

We went to my mother's grave and his wife and mother's graves to remember them on this special days for mothers.
Not a blade of grass on my husband's grave has grown since July 23,2012 as you can see on the other side of this head stone.
