The ramblings of a mom of 9 by her KIDS that are STILL making her climb walls ,even as adults. Said I DO 3xs and I WANT OUT 2 xs. Have learned there is no such thing as a Rose Garden. My motto is Life Is Too Short To Be Miserable. When the bad outweighs the good it is time to shit can em. Laugh with me or at me, welcome to my world.

I'm so damned excited!!! I shit you not!
Ed and I took a ride today up to where we camped last year. I use the word UP because it is up in elevation. That's where I am too, high on life! :0)
We went to quaint old restaurant in Princeton,MA and had a fried clam dinner ( small bellies, YUM) ( in a delicious coating, not a raised batter) , which included fries and slaw, hot rolls, coffee and dessert for $16.99 plus tax. Now for those of you that know the price of seafood, especially clams, you know that we got a bargain. I shit you not! Try that on the sea coast and just the clams, fries and slaw will cost you somewhere around $24. I shit you not!
From there we drove another 8 miles or so to the campgrounds in Rutland and after finding out that the site we had last year was unavailable, we Lucked Out BIG TIME with getting a much better site for the season.
Now for those of you that camp in the States, you know that $1,650. for 6 months ( the entire camping season around here), THAT is dirt cheap. I shit you not!
Too....you can leave your trailer,5th wheel, motor home, etc. there FREE for the next six months if you desire to and plenty do just that as it not only saves on a storage fee if they live some states away as some do, but also some of these campers wouldn't do well being hauled for miles.
We will take ours home at the end of the season, but it's going to be nice to be able to leave it there and save on GAS for 6 months. . With a V 10 engine you get about ten miles to the gallon and it's 45 miles one way to the camp grounds. OUCH!!!
We are both excited !!!!! Come Thursday he will lead the way with the motor home and I will follow him in my car and we will stay until Sunday sometime.
I bought the fishing rod and reel I have always wanted. A Shimano is what I think it's called. Light weight. The pond is just to the left of our site. It can't get much better than that! :0) I shit you not!
Tomorrow we will go to my house in the p.m. ( my home is 26 miles away from Ed's) and go visit my daughter Cheryl for awhile in another town( 9 miles from my house). She had asked me if I could help with a few summer clothes for her extremely over-weight son ( he won't be 13 until July 17th and is wearing a men's size XL. I shopped online and those will get to him this week by UPS and I found some bargains this past week that we will bring with us. He is autistic and unfortunately the textures of food he ate was limited ( mostly to breads and pastas.) For the most part, my grandson Trevor still won't eat most meats. I believe she said he for the first time ate a McD's burger recently. Out with them on Easter, he ate nachos with cheese as an appetizer and macaroni and cheese for his meal. :0(
Yesterday, Ed took my oldest son and his wife out to eat. It was Ed's first time at meeting them. We drove down to my town for the delicious Chinese food there and they met us there.
It seems like we are constantly on the go. No grass growing under our feet. ;0)
Tuesday we get on a tour bus at the senior center in my town for our first outing in a group for dinner and a show. I'm excited and Ed says he is too. It's something he has never done.
Daughter Jill had the Whine Bucket arrested Saturday. Long story short, he was in the back seat on the drivers side and his 9 year old daughter was up front. ( She always wants to ride up front and when it's his vehicle Jill has to sit in the back seat.) Oh right! I said Long Story made Short.
He snapped at something she said, ( it was completely different than what he thought) and he took his left hand and placed it around her neck and with his right hand he placed it over her mouth and his daughter screamed, "don't do it daddy" and he released his grip. She says he only had one drink with her, but it makes me wonder what else he had to just SNAP.
I feel bad for him if THIS gets him tossed off the fire dept. after 22 years, but this isn't his First Rodeo and he still hasn't learned a thing!
My grandson Gil was released from Bridgewater State Hospital after 3 weeks instead of 30 days because he had completed all his classes and did every other thing that was required of him.
For 3 weeks he had no cigarettes and was not going to go back to smoking once out, but HE HAS. :0(
Nothing is in place for him to get further treatment yet. :0( sighhhhhhhhhhhhh
She has agreed to go to meetings with him, but as of last night he has only gone one time in the last two weeks. She has asked for and got Chantix from her doctor. She wants to stop smoking once her nerves are calmer. I truly hope it works for her like it did for me, She has many more years of smoking on her than I did.
Today I am upbeat and hopeful that their lives will turn around, which in turn will take the weight off my heart that they put there.
It's going to be a wonderful Spring, Summer and Fall. :0) I shit you not!
Taken on my 76th and made by Ed's grand daughter Stacy in TN just hours after we arrived there( that was so sweet of her as she was 7 mo's pregnant and had already gained 63 pounds at 5ft. 2" )
That's All Folks!
(((hugs)))
