Last night we drove the 25 miles to my house ( got my neck adjusted by my old boss :0) ) whom thanked Ed for putting a smile on my face and later we went out for Chinese food with my son Larry and his significant other (Sombay, a sweetheart who has loved him and his family for over 20 years ) for my birthday. Good time and good food. :0) We had planned to spend the night there, but changed our mind and came back to Ed's ( which I have found it easy to call HOME now) and get a head start on a drive to Rutland to check out the campground we go to all season in the morning.
We went out to breakfast this morning in the town he was born and lived in for a good fifty years before moving here. Visted his wifes and mothers graves to put solar lights on them. Yesterday we put them on Mike's grave.
Daughter Michelle ( she and her husband are caterers,) gave us two huge corned beef and cabbage meals to take back here with us. These will be our lunch. :0)
Tomorrow we will head back my way and go to an Irish shindig at the restaurant that my daughter Cheryl's husband Dana is the manager of, at their request. An Irish band will be playing there. :0)
Another corned beef and cabbage dinner! I hope that all that GAS is gone before we leave for TN on Wednesday. I shit you not!!!
My clothes are getting snugger and snugger, but who's fault is that.:0( sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Grandson Gil called his mother from Bridgewater State Hospital yesterday and told her that she did the right thing when she went to court to have him committed. Told her not to beat herself up about it anymore. It's what he needs. :0)
She told me this morning on the phone that she had nothing to drink yesterday up until she and Butch aka Whine Bucket went out for dinner and he asked her to have a rum and coke with him. She stopped at the one. He had two. Then he asked her to stop with him at the Moose ont the way home and she said NO, I want to go home. They did, but he grumbled about it. She said to me, "mom if my son is doing without cigarettes and his drugs, I can begin to do without too."
You all must know how hopeful I am that things will turn around and I will have my daughter back. :0)
Son Randy's case was Continued yesterday and he is still out on Personal Recognizanse. :0)
Another ray of hope in my life. :0)
We leave for TN early on the 20th and will arrive at our destination Murfreesboro on the 21st in the early p.m. ...which is my 76th birthday. Yay me!
The picture of my ring that I promised you.
I'm off to Rutland. :0)
(((hugs)))
That's All Folks!
