If my Monday will be anything like my Saturday......PLENTY. ;0)
Saturday, Jill, Gil and Logan were working a wedding all p.m. They rolled in around 8 and Jill changed and disappeared. I woke when she came into my room to shut my tv off ( didn't look at the clock )...she said goodnight to me...her voice didn't sound like she was loaded, BUT.
THIS IS NOT what I call working with me. Having to worry even one iota about her drinking and driving isn't working with me. She wonders why I want to "dessert her" as she calls it. DUH!
Butchie was here putting a door on my bedroom ( he'd been at it quite a few hours ). She and he had words the night before and he had stormed out saying, "DONE. WE ARE DONE!" I knew as he told me earlier that he was working overtime at the firestation beginning at eleven p.m. that he would be leaving in time to go home and shower and dress for work, but twenty minutes after she waltzed out the door, he put his tools away and left. What a fucking mess.....sawdust all through the entire house. Once the door was on, he had to make adjustments and use an electic saw. I can't see my way out of this dust EVER! I shit you not! Oh, I had dust before...plenty, but nothing like this. The dark brown leather chairs in the kitchen are a MAGNET for it. For the life of me, I can't see my way clear on where to even begin. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Nor do I have the energy.
Son Randy came around noon and began working in hubby's closet ...clearing all his tools, etc. out and putting them in one of our sheds. For the most part, hubby's closet was HIS SHED. His tools were safe from the boys there. It's a habit he never broke even after the boys moved away. He was always missing tools. This way ...he knew where they were and just where to lay his hands on a certain item when he needed it. Then came the time when he couldn't use many tools and if someone needed something to make a repair in the house he would direct them to it's location. ALL HE HAD to his name...was his TOOLS. No hobbies, collected nothing. Now... I'm vacating those. sighhhhhh
So son Randy took every damn thing out of that closet and I have piles of clothes (98% mine) and my bins of yarn ( 5 ) ( more u in the attic )...half my bed is occupied . Randy took down the old metal closet shit on one side and filled the holes and painted the entire thing. He and Butchie were actually working in the same area at the same time. Peacefully, I might add and those two CLASH like hell at times. I actually left them alone when I went out to meet Don. I felt that safe. :0)
When I came back at 6:20 p.m. Randy was finished with what he was doing for the night ( paint was drying ) and he had left and Butchie was still plugging away at installing the bedroom door. I had a pocket door there that was always coming off the track, plus...you couldn't lock it.
A visual..............
