After years of shopping at Walmart , DIL Kim has been introducing moi to the sales at JCPenney.
There were small appliances there cheaper and better than at Walmart.
Then there is their outlet just up the street .
I wanted one of these, one of those... even if I did have something like it already.
The new toaster ovens have an extended back to allow for cooking a 9 inch pizza.
What a brain child someone had.
We don't use ours to cook a whole pizza, BUT just in case...........we could. :0)
No ....didn't purchase it.
This too said it was a 6 slice toaster, but so did mine and................they lie.
Four slices of bread is all that fits in my Hamilton Beach 6 slice toaster oven. :0(
I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all the kitchen ware, small appliances, curtains, bedding.
I behaved! :0)
Christmas decorations are already out on the floor to sell. Whoa!
Tracie saw me heading to my car last night after dark. Came out the door to ask me where I was heading and offered to drive me to the grocery store.......after she made room for moi to sit.
Bags and bags piled on the passenger seat that she had to pile up high on the stuff in the back seat.
More new clothes for her great niece. She had been shopping again for her.
The floor was just as bad with trash and a toilet brush. Toilet brush??? Didn't ask.
A bag of empty Sprite cans. I just found a place to plant my feet and away we went.
Not before she had to finish telling me what she started to tell me before I got in her car though. sigh!
It's always that way...I should be use to it.
I did ask about the stuff that has been piled on her back seat forever.
She told me the person that rents the apartments told her NOT to bring another thing into her apartment.
Couldn't help myself....suggested after dark as the time to do it. The devil made me do it! :0)
Her brother who is in his late 50's lives in his grandparent's house that he bought some years back and his house, yard and garage are piled with his stuff. Stuff he collects , just like she does.
He doesn't have a stove...never has. Was married a short time years back, no kids and looks like he came out of the hills, woods, woodwork.
She tells me he left a towel in the house, so of course I asked why.
He comes over to wash his hair she said. Of course I asked, why.
His water heater has been broke for 6 months.
Bath???? I didn't ask. He has worked for the railroad from the time he could work and will retire in 4 years.
Money??? You betcha !
Reason? My thoughts run towards he don't want anyone to see how he lives.
I have heard that there are just small passage ways through the stuff he has piled sky high.
Not my worry. Know it's a sickness.
Myself, I like order...long for it. Want it!
If I ever have that bedroom off the kitchen EMPTY.....it will become a pantry. :0)
Cleaned off one of my kitchen counters last night and that thought came to mind.
It was a pleasing thought!
Please, please, please Mr.Right. Come along soon .........................
The morning is passing by quickly. Too quickly for moi. :0(
Hubby is complaining of groin pain. He suspects it's the raisons he has been eating as of late that are the cause of his Diverticulitis acting up. Could well be.
When Jill came home last night she showed us some painful sores she has on her upper right leg.
She was thinking she is now gluten intollerant. Had made a call to her doctor's office Thursday and Friday wanting a return call. No call back. . :0(
One look and I told her it's not a call she wants...it's an appointment she needs.
Looks like she has Shingles to moi. Pain is S E V E R E and hubby has had them twice, so I'm pretty sure she has them.
Myself...I am having a problem with my neck on the right side.
Two adjustments last week and I'm good for a day and it's back again. :0)
:0(
Might be time to invest in another goose down pillow from Sears orrrrrrrrrrrr JCPenney..
Seems like alot of money to spend on a pillow, but it's the kind I have the best sleeping results with.
It's been at least seven years since I puchased the one I use.
$100 divided by 7 = for under $15 a year I had no neck problems.
Of course , I suspect they have risen in price like everything else has. :0(
My chiropractor has some interesting pillows for sale.
One of them you put water in to your liking. One of his chiropracic assistants uses one and loves it.
Think I will stick with what I am familiar with.
It was 42 degrees out when I turned this computer on at 8.
It's 10 a.m. now and 49 degrees. Good yard work day, but that's not what I'm going to do.
Might clean out a few kitchen drawers. Might not! Might knit. Might not! :0(
Ever the procrastinator!
Definately going to the Outback though. :0)
My son Randy came to do a little more work under the house just as I was about to post.
He has taken pictures of the work he is doing and the conditions under there that need repairing , ie; support walls . It ain't pretty.I shit you not! Will put up pictures another day.
Did manage to get 2 loads of laundry folded.
We are up to 53 degrees at 12:22 p.m.
That's All Folks!
